SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- 2007 Audi A4: ** sales rep. My first car was an Audi and it was a great car for me so, when the time came to purchase a new car, I was looking for an Audi as well. I went to different dealerships, including Audi on rt 18. At the Audi dealership, I had a really bad experience. For work I dress in a suit and tie but on my days off, it's sweats and sneakers. When I walked in, a young woman greeted me and asked a sales man to help me. When the man walked over, right away he looked me up and down and I could clearly assume what his expression suggested.
As a customer, it's really awkward to have a sales representative assume certain vehicles aren't in your price range and this guy was just like that. It made me so angry! I didn't even bother sticking around, simply asked for his manager's contact information and left. A friend of mine that purchased his car recently told me about 21 Century Auto Group. Being that I had not found a car yet, I figured it was worth checking out all of the spots and he got his car for a fantastic deal.
When I first walked into 21 Century, a sales representative by the name of ** walked over and very politely introduced himself. He asked me what type of car I was interested in and I expressed to him that it was an Audi A4 or Audi A-8. Let's be realistic, some cars are really expensive and Audi's are usually pricey, even to maintain... but my mind was made up. ** showed me all of the Audi's available and we even sat down to look on the web at the 21 century website to see if any of those cars caught my interest. ** took his time and didn't rush me or seem pushy.
I wasn't expected to buy anything but he reinforced that he wanted me to be comfortable and sure of the vehicle I would wanted to buy. Needless to say, I found my car at 21 Century Auto Group! I am a proud owner of a 2007 Audi A4 in black with a nice camel tone interior. Honestly, I would recommend this place to anyone! Even if you don't know what kind of car you really want, their selection is great and the sales reps seem like honest people (which is hard to come by, trust me!)
The price I got on my new car was awesome and they worked out the monthly payments. I negotiated the price a little bit but the sales rep, worked with me to find an affordable and accommodating price for me. 21 CENTURY AUTO! THANKS!!
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- Ready for a nice family car... it was time to shop around!!! I love to shop BUT car shopping can get so stressful when you deal with the wrong people. The car I would be getting needed to be a family vehicle. As a teenager, everyone had a dream car, mine was a sports car but I guess after having children, it gets difficult to fit a car seat into the back of a sports car so, I wanted a nice SUV or crossover. I've always liked the older Infiniti QX56, it has great room and it's definitely a nice car for a family, I feel the newer one looks a little too rounded in the front, like a marshmallow. Haha!
We went car shopping together, that includes my husband, my son and daughter and of course, myself. Car shopping with children can sometimes be aggravating on its own but it all depends on the customer service they have as well. Once in 21st Century, a sales representative came over and quickly offered his assistance. My children were asked if they wanted something to drink and to my astonishment spent most of the time sipping on sodas while playing video games on the comfy couches they have all over the place. My husband and I walked around with ** and inspected a car that would fit our budget and our accommodations.
When I expressed to ** that my dream vehicle would be a QX56, he brought us over to an area where a gray 2005 Infiniti QX56 was located... it was beautiful and best... THE PRICE WAS AMAZING! To wrap this up, we purchased the truck and couldn't be any happier!!! The price was excellent and although it's not a brand new SUV, it is in amazing condition. 21st Century Auto Group has Great customer service, patient individuals, plenty of different cars and best of all... if you get the right rep, he will work with you on the price!!! Would def. purchase a car here again. Thank you!
In December 2009, I was in the market for a preowned E class Mercedes. I saw that 21st Century Auto Group had a match to my wants. I contacted Lyack (Internet Sales) and spoke with him in detail about the vehicle they advertised on line. He answered all questions I asked and I verified with him that the vehicle was still available since I would be traveling 40 miles to see it. Lyack assured me that the vehicle was on the floor waiting for me and he would be working everyday from 9AM to 9PM. This conversation took place at 430PM.
At 730PM, I arrived in the showroom excited about seeing the vehicle. When I advised the plastic like receptionist, she told me that Lyack was not in but they could direct me to another sales associate. A short time later, a sales representative wearing a suit and brown wool winter cap approached me and introduced himself. My first impression was that I was stunned that I was about to negotiate purchasing a $40,000 car with a man wearing a winter hat. (VERY unprofessional.)
I advised him why I was there and gave him the stock number of the vehicle I was looking for. He checked his stock sheet and told me that it did not appear on his daily stock sheet. He excused himself and went looking for the car. After waiting for 15 minutes, he returned and told me that they JUST sold that car. I requested to see the vehicle in order to eliminate my belief that they really just didn't sell the car. "Mr wool hat" stated that "I could not see the vehicle as it was at the service area." He immediately told me that he has many other vehicles to show me. I told him that I didn't appreciate the businesses misleading advertising tactics and immediately left the store.
As I was exiting the store, another husband and wife were arguing with another sales associate about the same lying and misleading tactics. From the time you walk into this place, you get the mob like shady feeling about this business. Everybody is wearing thick pinstripe suits with the macho Italian demeanor. Losers! In closing, this place is bad, bad, bad news! There are many other car dealerships to purchase vehicles from.
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- I have very positive experience in purchasing my car from 21st Century Auto Group! Not my first car! The last one, my Honda Accord 2006, I bought from their new location at Springfield, New Jersey. What a showroom, what a variety of cars! I am amazed how people on each step courteous and friendly! They listen to you and understand your concerns, respectful to you, to your budget. You don't feel any pressure, they give you time “to sleep over” your choice before you make your decision.
The finance manager helps you with issue that might be painful in other places. Having that great experience in the past I referred 21st Century to my friend who was looking all over for affordable Honda SUV, family car. She came back to me telling that her son checked some webs and found ugly reviews about this company.
Oh my God! How people with bad attitude, people whom I would call “born complainers” can blackmail the name of a good company with excellent service! I told her about my experience and explained that some people just always unhappy, don't know what they want and very hard to please! She was convinced when I said: "Just go, try for yourself and believe what you see!"
Now she doesn't have enough words to express how grateful she is! She ended up with the best price for the model she wanted (compared with 6 other dealers of PA, NJ and NY!!! My friend and I would recommend to anyone to buy their next car at 21st Century Auto Group in Springfield, NJ.
UNION, NEW JERSEY -- I went to purchase a used car at this dealership in Union, NJ. It is called 21st Century Leasing (Auto Group), but also known as Wheels in Motion and 21st Century Leasing. My first tip off that something shady is going on. This dealership mainly sells higher end cars and is located on 585 Chestnut Street, Union, NJ. I decided with a price over the phone with a salesperson. They lied to me about the mileage over the phone which was 3000 more and the features stating it was loaded with everything except navigation.
When I sat down to pay they started adding in additional charges and boosting the price by a few thousand. I had already made a down payment so I threatened them not to take the car in this price. I finally resolved the problem after all the managers had to come over. Overall I wouldn't ever deal with 21st Century Leasing ever again. The salespeople are unhelpful at best and their product are not inspected and overpriced.
received my plates and title from company today 5 days after they had expired. Overall happy the transaction is overall and dont have to deal with the company anymore.
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- On Saturday 3/8/2014, I was out the whole entire day in search of my first car and ran across the most raggedy cars. Me, not knowing anything about cars, brought a friend who did and he let me know how many of these private and public dealers were trying to pull the wool over my eyes. Right when the day was just about over, places were closing and still without a car, we came to our last stop. I guess they are right when they say "save the best for last", because that's where I found my dream car. I purchased, from **, a 2008 Mercedes C300 in black and it was in great condition! Air conditioned, very clean, inside and out, with great miles, for the right amount.
I love my car, it runs great, and the family at 21st Century Auto Group helped me all the way through the buying process without any rudeness. We are definitely coming back here! When I tell people about the steal they seem more happy than me! Probably because they just wanted to ride or drive my car, but, unh-uh, all mine! I've read that others have had problems with this place but I have to say I wasn't one of them. From start to finish everything went smooth and worked out great. My car is beautiful and after all of my searches, this was the best price ever!
