I am a single mother and my car had been giving me mechanical problems for a long time now and it was becoming more and more expensive just to even maintain the car itself. Had no clue what I wanted but I called anyway and made an appointment with him to check out a couple of cars they had in stock. Saw the s550 and gave it a test drive. Loved the car and bought it same day! Great choice of inventory and wonderful staff.

I was interested in a Honda Accord and they had a few for me to test drive. My salesman was really helpful and price was negotiable and fair! They seemed to be very honest with me about everything and the overall process did not take too long! Very pleased with this dealer and I would most definitely recommend checking it out if looking for a used car.
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- Be careful people. Do not go to this place, they are a bunch of crooks not a single website has a good review about them! They look for people that know nothing about buying a car and once they know that for a fact they will tear you a new one. I have been to the place a few times after my mother purchased a car from them she was yelled at by the owner (yes I almost lost my cool and cracked him in the head.
My mother was promised a Free transmission oil change, she got it after waiting in the garage with mechanics for nearly 10 hours! The guy that was doing the work was not a mechanic at all but just a driver that just came to US and knew nothing about cars. One would think not a big deal you waited 10 hours deal with it. Here comes the best part... my mother gets her 1st car payment she was supposed to be paying $350 per month and her bill was for guess what? $750!!! We right away went back to the place to speak to the owner thinking there was a mistake.
It took us about 5 hours to get to speak to him, he was always "Very Busy." Please note that on the day of getting the car he was ready to see us within 1 minute. Once again we were sitting in front of Dmitry Zeldin the Owner of the company, we told him what is going on. 1st we have bad service with the mechanics and now our payment is off by more than double. He looked over paper work and said he does not remember telling us that price. It would be OK if we got a BMW M3 for 750 a month but no we got a CAMRY people. A used Camry with 60k miles that will be costing us more than 2 brand new ones! Some might think "oh bad credit!"
No credit score was in upper 700's. We then went to the police department to see if we can make a complaint, we were told by the officer we are just wasting our time. We are lost. What can we do!? We called our lawyer, guess what the answer was! It will cost you too much money to sue someone as Rich and connected as Owner of 21 Century. My mother was robbed and there is nothing we could do to get the ** closed down.
So people please do your research before you visit any dealership. Sad part is many people that 21st century robs don't know their credit score, have never purchased a car from a dealership and don't use a computer to read reviews. 21st century cause my family a lot of stress and money issues and I hope that our gullible mistake will not be repeated by other. I hope karma takes care of Dmitry Zeldin and his stealerhip.
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- I wanted to purchase a certified preowned car. I looked online at many places and 21st Century Auto Group had all the cars I liked for the right price so I stopped in to take a look. After driving many cars, I found the one I wanted to purchase. I asked if it was a certified preowned vehicle and if it had its service and 200 something point check... Of course... I was told yes. Needless to say, I had a bold tire, broken windshield wipers, low on coolant and no floor mats. I was told they would take care of and to come back Tuesday. I did.
I waited for an hour as I thought they were servicing my car to find out that they did not even start and the mechanic did not have time. "Come back Friday" they said... And I did. Now, I waited 2.5 Hours (after being told it would take an hour) to find out that they were going to bring it to the BMW dealership to be serviced. I needed to get to work so they drove me. Once again, all they did was change my tire... Stating the BMW could not take the car and they rescheduled for the following Thursday. When I asked what dealership I was bringing it to, they stated to their place and the mechanic was going to fix it.
Now wait... Didn't they just tell me that they were taking it to BMW?!! Needless to say, I said "hey I'm still under manufacturer warranty, why don't I just take it to the dealership?" It appears they were very hesitant with me doing that. So now it's Wednesday, the day before my so-called service and I call 21st century to make sure I am scheduled for service and that it will definitely be done!!! No one could help me or answer me!!! They told me I had to call my sales person on his cell to confirm!!! What? Are you kidding? That was the last straw... Something was definitely fishy. I hung up the phone and took my car to the local BMW dealership.
Needless to say, the tire they gave me was not the same brand as the rest of my tires which is a no-no, my left engine mount broken, my alignment messed up, left wheel baring broken, emergency break broken, right rear tire no good and my wiper transmission broken!!! Thank goodness most are covered under the warranty but I still have to pay for 2 tires out of pocket and the alignment a total of $900. Not to mention that 21st century only gave me 1 key to my car so it will cost $282 to get a spare one!!!
Oh... And by the way... They said my car was serviced prior to selling and everything was great!!! Do not buy from these people!!! I have also left messages for a manager to call me back and to date, no return call.
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- Three weeks ago my wife and I decided to expand our search of a new car by looking online instead of stopping by all these dealerships. We came across the 21 Century Auto Group web page by a search of dealerships within a 30 mile radius of the house, their dealership popped up.
I don't want to make this review too long but basically, we found an Infiniti SUV we really liked 09' with 21,000 miles. With the details given online, we were really interested in this specific car. I called the dealership and spoke to a polite young lady who transferred me to a car salesman. When I expressed to this gentleman which car I was calling to inquire about, he told me it wasn't available anymore. I have to admit I was a little upset because we had really found something we wanted and had placed the rest of the vehicles previous to this one on the back burner, only to find out it had been sold.
I expressed to this gentleman that they should update their site more often and when he noticed I was a bit upset, he didn't hesitate to understand my position and asked me if I was interested in the dealership trying to find a vehicle just alike, with maybe only minor differences. He explained that they update their inventory often and because of the misleading information, they would try and help us find something just as good if not better.
A few day ago, we got the call and ** sent us pictures of the vehicle they had found to see if it caught our interest. Believe it or not, this might sound crazy but, this one was even better because it was an Infiniti '09 22,000 miles with a tan interior (which we wanted but the other didn't have) a panoramic sky roof and it was silver, which in my opinion is better than white like the prior one. We ended up purchasing with this dealership and couldn't be happier with the service we received and the very professional manner in which they dealt with our minor problem. Communication is key!
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- About three months ago, I made a purchase with the staff at this dealership. I found the exact car I wanted for a fantastic price and couldn't pass up on the opportunity. Mr. ** was my sales representative and was very professional. I really appreciated his attention to detail and his help throughout my sale and the continuing issue with my sunroof. When I purchased my car, everything worked great. I made sure to check everything and it seemed in fantastic condition. About three weeks ago, I began to have problems with my sunroof. It would open, but at times get stuck halfway until I restarted the car or continued to press the button.
It happened a couple of times and finally, I contacted the dealership, spoke with Mr. ** and explained the situation, he seemed very concerned and empathetic to the matter. Mr. ** called me back a few hours later to set up an appointment with the dealership mechanic to take a look at the car. I bought the car in and as I waited in the lounge, they looked at the problem. It took a little longer than expected, but ** came out and offered me a beverage or lunch while I waited. He apologized for the wait and seemed to feel bad about the problem. He explained they would fix the sunroof or replace it because the dealership stands behind what they sell.
I agree with the previous reviews here that the manner in which they handled everything was such a relief and made the situation so much better. Basically, there was a short circuit causing the sun-roof to get stuck. They replaced the wires and made sure everything was functioning great. Afterwards they offered me a free oil change next time the car was due and the manager came over to speak with me ensuring that everything was working properly and gave me his business card to call with any further problems.
I know car troubles pop up out of nowhere, this one I didn't expect because the car was in great shape but I am so happy 21st century handled the issue in the manner in which they did. It makes me a happy customer and more comfortable knowing that they stand behind what they sell and will fix a problem without the hassle.
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- Since I began working in a corporate job, I have always believed in having a reliable car and so I have always trusted Mercedes Benz and have owned some in the past. I came to this dealership about two weeks ago looking to purchase a newer Mercedes then the current one I have because it is not 4-wheel drive and I wanted a 4matic for the colder seasons coming. I was helped out by a gentleman named ** and he was really a pleasure to work with. **'s attention to accommodate my needs and answer all of my questions is exactly the type of employee I would expect to work for a dealership that understands how important customers are.
I looked at several vehicles and really ended up finding exactly what I wanted and purchased it with this dealership. I compliment this dealership on their professionalism, the dealership itself is very clean and nice and the inventory is excellent. My Mercedes E-class has everything I was looking for including a rare panoramic roof top. It has low miles and the price was great. My only complaint was that the mats were not the authentic Mercedes Benz ones (with the silver metal strip that has the brand). Call it whatever you want but those small details really matter to me.
I called the dealership and spoke to the secretary, she took my message and had ** give me a call back. ** seemed attentive to my problem and told me he would speak to someone and see if they could get me the authentic mats. A few days later, ** called me back and asked me to stop by the dealership, they had my mats and wanted to replace them. I was really happy and stopped by a day after on my way to work. The mats were either brand new or really well taken care of.
I was fully satisfied and very happy with the manner in which they made my small problem a priority and resolved it. This is exactly the kind of business and customer service that gets a great rating from myself. Sometimes is the simple things that mean the most to customers! Would definitely recommend this dealership and the great staff!
