A&E has set up two appointments with me, confirmed both the night before and then cancelled midway through the scheduled time appointment. I have now been two weeks without a washing machine and trying to schedule appointments that are broken in the scheduled time slot with "technician got sick or hurt... or something" and "oh we don't have a technician in your area today". Why they would set up the appointment and confirm without knowing where their technicians are is inexcusable. I have no confidence that they will be able to fix my machine when and if they ever manage to show up.

I will never buy another appliance from Lowes or any other company that uses A&E for their warranty work.

COLORADO -- We were having our Electrolux dryer door repaired (for the 2nd time in first 6 months of owning it) and A&E was called by Electrolux to warranty our product. They were supposed to be at our house on June 30 from 1-5. At approx. 4:30 I got a call saying I needed to call them to reschedule my appt. I checked my answering machine and found that the tech had called a short while earlier saying they were overbooked and he wasn't going to make it. When I called the customer service line to reschedule, they made up some story about the tech having a family emergency. Clearly a lie, but okay, I'll reschedule. The representative tells me the earliest they have is the following Tuesday, July 5, since Monday is a holiday. She schedules me from 8-12.

Big surprise, I'm up and waiting for these guys to show up and when I haven't heard from them by 1 PM, I called to check. She then tells me that actually the appt is for July 19! I would consider the possibility of having mixed up the dates except for the fact that the representative I previously spoke to specifically scheduled me for the day after the 4th of July holiday! Now here I am, waiting another 2 weeks and I have serious doubts about it being done right at that point.
Bottom line: These people are dishonest and unreliable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Find someone else to do your repair, even if it's just the local handyman!

I scheduled service appointment with them online through Whirpool website. My wife took day to wait for their visit. Appointment time to fix my refrigerator was from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. When nobody showed up at 12:30 pm I call their Customer Center and was notified that since one of the technicians call off for this day somebody will come after 12:00 pm. After nobody came at 3:00 pm, I was assured that technician will be coming after 5:30 pm. I call at 6:30 pm again and representative told me that technician is on his way to my house and assured me 100% that service will be performed this day. I repeated my call at 8:00 pm and AE supervisor notified me that it’s too late and I have to wait until next day. I rescheduled for next day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, but when I called next day to confirm that somebody coming in they told me that my request for new appointment is does not exist.
This company has only central office in Texas and subcontracting local technicians and apparently cannot control them.
I strongly recommend avoid AE services!!!!
