CARMICHAEL, CALIFORNIA -- We purchased 2 refurbished Lexmark OptraS 2450 printers that arrived in very poor condition. One of the printers was covered in toner and was absolutely filthy. The other printer was broken and upon further examination was found to full of dust dirt and debris. I am not sure WHAT they do to a printer to earn the label "refurbished" but one would think that at least blowing the dirt out of it would be high on the list.
I ask for an immediate refund and to have the units picked up and removed from my office the night that I opened them. I was greeted by an email that did NOT address my desires. Instead, it was a canned response telling me how they pride themselves in a quality product blah blah blah. I wrote again asking for a refund and to have the printers removed. I received a second email touting their excellent products and services but no response to my specific request of a refund. I asked for a third time and got a response from the company president telling me that I was NOT to interfere with FEDEX examining the printers.
I called and spoke with the president of the company and he accused me of damaging the printers and that I would NOT receive a refund unless FEDEX gave Argecy a refund. In my mind, they have poor customer service. I have had to take up a claim with my Credit Card company since they refuse to refund my money and to remove the junk from my office. I did NOT receive the "refurbished" products that I PAID for. Instead, I was shipped some leftover refugees from the junk pile that shipped a full 2 weeks AFTER I placed the order.
