Warning! - Do Not Buy From AtomPark Software
Posted by on
I purchased a piece of software from AtomPark Software called E-mail Sender. It says on their website that if you are not satisfied, they would refund the purchase (see details below).

I installed the software and could not get it to work. It is supposed to be able to send thousands of e-mails in a very short period of time (used for e-mail marketing campaigns). I started with a few minor tests. One of the tests with only 3 e-mail addresses, it took 20 minutes to send and it only succeeded in sending it to one address. I read the report that it generates and started to debug. I used the Help, I visited their website for additional information and I even opened support tickets with them but to no avail. The help information is very general and of no help at all. I tried it again after tweaking the settings and it was even worse, no success at all after 25 minutes (using only 3 e-mail addresses). After trying several times to tweak the software, I just gave up. I put in a request for a refund the day after I bought it. I have been fighting with them since December 4, 2006.

I keep requesting a refund through all kinds of channels and they flatly refuse.

Here is the link to the FAQ which talks about the refund:

Q. Can I get a full refund if your product seemed to be worthless to me?
A. YES. A written refund request with the most minute reasons for it must be submitted within 30 days of making the payment. Use the Refund form available in your MA account. Refunds will not be approved if they are received more than 30 days after receipt of payment.

Please appreciate our position, as some of our products can be used for a one time shot and as you are given an opportunity to evaluate any our software before purchasing for free, we reserve the right to examine every refund request in the most careful way and such examination can take time. Note that your refund may take several weeks to process as it is dependent on your method of payment, on your financial institution etc.

I have over 30 e-mails that I have kept with regards to the problems that I have been having with trying to get a refund, as well as the official requests through their website and support tickets that I have opened, which amount to at least 10.

I will never buy a product from this company ever again and I am telling whoever will listen not to buy from them either.

Thank you

If they refused a refund, did they give you a specific reason for refusing your request?

I see a lot of spammy type sites offering software with a full 30 day refund, etc. I'm always leary of them. It is a sad truth, but companies hide so many loopholes in their "guarantees" that you are pretty much one your own from day one when you buy something.

And to think, I always thought there was honor among thieves.

I just received an e-mail today from AtomPark Software saying that they are refusing my refund. Quoted from his e-mail..."Dear user!, You refund is not possible because the software work as described". Not sure where he got that idea?? It never worked. Since I will not be getting my refund, all I can do is ensure that other consumers don't get shafted by this company and their software. Thank you for the venue to be able to post the warning.

Well I am in the same situation I purchased the atompark Studio software for #300 and it is not working from day 1 so I requested my money back as advertised by them. Now they refused to go ahead with the refund. It is a scam from East Europe. Just be aware and do not buy their bogus softwares

Thanks for your comments, I was prepared to buy the software and just tried it for 3 days and it doesn't work and their customer service is very bad and not professional at all

I purchased the download version of email verifier from AtomPark software because I had a client with a list of over 50,000 names that he needed verified. The software took awhile to verify and the last two parts of the list gave back an error code and I could not even view the results.

I then purchased the online version. I submitted the results to the client who imported those into Constant Contact and they came back with over a 50% bounce rate. I complained to AtomPark and emailed the results but they still would not refund. The orig. refund policy on their site stated that with a valid reason and an email to them the money would be refunded.

They changed the policy after I complained and added a clause that said if they fix the problem then no refund. I explained that the client was unhappy and withdrew his work and that I lost the income from the project and what I had spent on the software. AtomPark did not budge. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SOFTWARE - THEY LIE TO YOU AND IT DOES NOT WORK.

We value every customer and ready to help anyone with all the issues. We provide free trial of all our products so each customer has a right to value the product before placing the order (ref Meanwhile we have tutorials ( and FAQ section

That's why our policy is as follows: refund can be issued if the product does not work (some bug found) and it can not be fixed. Please appreciate our position, "I do not like the product" or "it is not what I need" is not an appropriate ground for refund as we offer free trial for each of our products before purchasing.

Since we refund only not-working software, those which either freezes or crashes, please provide some proves of not-working software (screenshots if necessary)

We reserve the right to examine each refund case thoroughly.

Your understanding are appreciated.

Sincerely yours,
AtomPark Castom Care Department representative.

It's simple folks. File a complaint with the credit card company and be persistent. If you are in the right, and you can prove it, you will get your money back and it will cost them MUCH more than if they had simply refunded your purchase. Trust me, I have been a credit card processor and registered agent for almost 20 years
