PLANO, TEXAS -- I had AT&T Uverse for the last 4 months. There 2 area outages for last 2 months. Network used to drop frequently. Customer Services will hung up on my calls. I waited for 30 minutes on the line just to speak to an Agent. My internet service went on Thursday. When I called in they scheduled an appointment on Saturday.
Service men can't fix the problem(he doesn't seem to have any idea). He later scheduled an appointment on Monday, which they postponed again. I called customer service they are very rude. This service is not acknowledging the value of customers time. We had to wait forever for their reply.

This is a company whose supervisors spend most of the day trying to make their "numbers" look good.(To hell with the customer) Where a Prem-Tech will come into a home on a mission to get out of there.(To hell with the customer).
Where "Customer Service" is completely clueless as how to provide um.. customer service. But have become artistic in the practice of the run-a-round. Just a voice on the phone, not responsible for words or actions.(To hell with the customer).

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- $200 cash back incentive is awesome. Until you realize what you get from AT&T is bad service, "surprise" fees and faulty equipment! I have had AT&T U-Verse service for a little over 2 months and have had nothing but trouble! The main box to our house went out the first month - dead battery. I also wanted to add cable to a third room. I was told the new box would just be $7 a month - great. However - the next week I see a box charge of $55 and a trip charge for $55 - $110 more than the quoted $7. Our bill was over $350, which should be criminal! Just a few weeks later another box in our home went out. Isn't there a lemon law for cable service? Everything they have installed has been faulty and I'm overcharged every time I get a bill. SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- This company has a way of charging you something different for every month. They have a system with promotions they give you for FREE, but when that promotion ends (which should not have made a diff for the bill) your bill goes up. I have to call every month and battle it out over the changes to my bill. I have never had a consistent bill and not to mention the service provided isn't worth the money the charge. It is not uncommon for me to have issues with their products either. Their representatives have a different explanation for the same thing every time I call. Having cable should not be so F$@#@#$% difficult!!! I have heard that Time Warner sucks just as bad. You can't Win with these money hungry companies. I just want a consistent reasonably priced bill. The promotions are confusing and I would have appreciated them telling me my bill would gradually grow to unreasonable prices by the end of the year when I signed up. My mother pulled a fast 1 on our household. She'd gotten fed up with Comcast supposedly raisin' their bill each month. She decided to go with the 3 services from U-verse. She was gonna do it anyway, even if I'd said 'no.' She told me I'd still have audio music channels comparable to Music Choice, so I went along, gamely. Found out that U-verse has Urge music service. What a joke! I soon found out that that there was too much song repetition, too many album cuts nobody ever heard of, and after awhile, I discovered that the CMT Radio channel on it, didn't add any current songs whatsoever.

As I type this, their most current song is, 'You belong with me,' by Taylor Swift, which peaked in August of LAST YEAR! Please, if anybody subscribes to U-verse TV, don't go lookin' for current country songs on Urge, 'cause they're just not there!
I ordered the bundle from AT&T in early August with an install date of 8/17. It is now 8/25 and none of the three work. I can't get anyone on the phone. Every line I dial (in the hand-outs and e-mails they provided) ends in someone telling me to dial a different number (no warm transfer, no forwarding). Each line is a 10-15 minute wait. I can't even cancel the service. Online "contact us" lands at no web page. I tried to register my account online and the link in the "welcome" email leads to no webpage. I'm 7 days in and about 10 hours spent trying to get support. I'm an engineer and have worked in IT services for 6 years. This is not user error. I switched b/c Time Warner phone would go out sporadically and the digital cable would freeze up several times a month. We have had AT&T you verse for about 2 months now. what a big mistake, the screen is constantly freezing, the voices do not coincide with the actors. what we thought we would be saving by switching to AT&T is now irrelevant, we are changing back to our old cable company. Add reply
I had AT&T U-verse installed mar 18, 2010. Almost every day, will be watching program and loose sound for about 30 seconds, sometimes 8 - 10 times a day. Also, sometimes picture freezes.

Will be calling Monday and have them come pick their crap up. If I'm gonna pay big bucks for this crap - I at least want to hear it. AT&T U-verse sucks. Use rabbit ears if you have to but don't use U-verse.

GEORGIA -- I switched to AT&T and it was a big mistake. I Love Comcast but unfortunately I can't get them in the current area that I have moved in. Big bummer!! There customer service sucks they will keep you on hold for 15 minutes without coming back to refresh the call and thank you for holding. They all sound unprofessional and they just seem as though they don't care. As well the internet I have is suppose to be 6.0 and when I run a speed test on a brand new computer its nowhere close.
