Beware After Market Touch Up Paint

HARAHAN, LOUISIANA -- Ordered after market touch up paint. Even though I chose priority mail the product didn't arrive for a week. By that time I no longer needed it. Called for return instructions but was told because it was custom mixed I could not return the paint. This was not made clear to me beforehand. Now I'm stuck with a product I no longer have a use for. The first line of their statement regarding their customer service is "Our customers are very important to us, and we will try our best to satisfy you with our product."

Well, if slow production/delivery and no returns is evidence that I'm important to them they have a funny way of showing it.

Canceling an Order: All orders are custom made and filled on a per order basis. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled if the paint has already been made. If the order has not been made, it is possible to cancel.

You could exchange the product-if they made a mistake in the color. But.....
**We can not except returns for human application error such as forgetting to read the instructions, unintentional use of product, over ordering, under ordering, ordering the wrong color, because you changed your mind, don't need your order after all, or because you sold your car quicker than you thought you would. While we will assist you in selecting the right color, it is against company policy to guess for you.

The majority of the time it pays to find out all the policies ahead of time, before placing an order. The above took me all of a minute to find.

Don't be impatient. You think that a week to make a custom paint, and ship it to you priority mail (2 or 3 days shipping) is too long? I don't think so. Maybe you should have ordered sooner.

Is your car a custom painted color? IF it is the normal Subaru color, then you could have gone to the dealer or autozone to get some touch-up paint.

I had an same experience. I ordered. 10days later products arrived. color did not match. I asked them to change. then 45days later, I received color sample. But I already finished painting. So I asked them to refund. but they said no.
I believe 45days is not normal.
I never order to them.

I have ordered from them with absolutely no problems. I loved my experience. I was clearly told for my custom paint to expect it to be about 5 business days before it would be ready to ship. The paint came in and was great quality and matched.

You can't expect a custom paint or really any custom product to be ready and shipped within a week. Within 2 weeks was perfect timing for me.

I have ordered from them three times now and all three times it has taken two weeks to get my order
