KENTUCKY -- I bought a $575 BCBG "Blue Ombre Timoa" silk gown from BCBG.com and was shocked at what I received. The dress is absolutely horrible! It is of such poor quality -- (made in China), the fabric across the chest will not lay straight -- and worse, there is white tacking thread running down the front of the chest. (No disguising it). The color is nothing like the picture -- rather than blue, it was more purple with a faded grey/beige bottom. The fit is also bad. If I didn't know better, I would say it was a knock-off. I bought this gown directly from BCBG.com and they would not take it back or exchange it -- because I returned it beyond 30 days (45 days).
This is completely unreasonable. Now I am stuck with a worthless $575 rag. Be VERY careful buying from BCBG. They do not sell quality merchandise, they do not stand behind their products, nor do they care about their customers.
I paid over $200 for a dress from BCBG. It's too tight but they say that's the only size they have. Is that my fault? So I would settle for a credit as it is a sale item and it clearly states "Standard Policy does not apply to sale items" which would be getting my money back. So I know I can't get my cash back but no exchange or credit either? Come on! This is 21st century and keeping customers happy is important to company health! Unbelievable. I will never shop there again... beware everyone.
