Have I been duped? Do not order from this company

UNITED STATES -- I ordered and paid for flowers for my daughters wedding on 4th September in Feb. Since then I have been promised the flowers will only be another couple of weeks. It is now 6 weeks before the wedding and I have no flowers and the company contact will not return my emails. The company changed ownership on the 4th July but the new owner does not reply to comments submitted on their website. Has anyone else had the same problem Do you think I will have the flowers before the wedding. I am very worried and cannot afford another $450 for replacement flowers. I will never order over the internet again.

Unless you have ordered silk flowers, I believe you are premature. Live flowers now would be dead and decomposed by September. I would definitely keep trying to contact the company if they have changed ownership, as they should honor any outstanding orders. Live flowers should arrive the morning of the wedding, and no sooner than the previous day. I wish your daughter luck. As a marriage minister, I understand totally your anxiety, but remember, flowers are living things, and once cut, they do not survive for very long.

I understand your concern about the company changing hands, but Starlord is right, if you ordered fresh flowers they shouldn't be delivered until the day of the wedding. I hope they get back to you so you can confirm this. Buying flowers on the internet for a wedding is a little risky so I hope it works out. I understand not being able to replace them. Flowers are expensive.

Oh, starfish, thank goodness! I was really worried that you might actually get fresh flowers now for a September wedding. I looked at the website and it seems pretty legit. I really hope they come through for you. Keep us posted.

My sister made the silk flower arrangements for both of our weddings. It helps having someone in the family who is handy with that sort of stuff.

That is a beautiful arrangement, and seeing that they are artificial, there is no reason why you should not have them now. I do wish your daughter all the happines this event portends. If we can ever be of any service, just drop me an M3C message.

I have been leaving comments asking about our flowers on the web site however they will not reply. Does anyone know how I can find out if they are reading my comments. Emails I have sent to the previous contact Michelle Carson are not even being read it appears she has blocked my emails. The web site now has a telephone number so I will have to wake up in the middle of the night to try to call them during business hours. I have also tried posting a complaint via BBB however unable to because I don't live in US or Canada. What do I do now?

Oh my, you still haven't received the flowers. I think you should set your alarm and get up during the night to call. Even if no one picks up, at least you'll know you tried.

Maybe someone here will have better advise, but that's all I got.

Well here it is 6 days before my daughters wedding and still no flowers. Even with phone calls in the middle of the night to the new owner has not helped because she is also unable to get hold of the person who I have been receiving emails from. Unfortunately this poor service is reflected against the company not the previous owner. I will be making sure everyone in Australia knows not to order from this company.

This is awful. You must be so upset. I agree that this is a reflection on the company and not the previous owner. I wish the new owner had made good on your order. I'm sorry this happened, but try not to let it interfere with the celebration of your daughter's wedding.

Don't Order From This Company!

I placed an order on 11/30th for wedding pew bows. These things aren't cheap! I paid 121 dollars. It's February 6th and I still don't have my bows. They don't have a phone number that I can call. I can only communicate with them via email. They keep saying I will get my bows any day now, but they have been saying that for over 2 months now! I've asked for my money back, but they refuse to acknowledge that I asked this.

I think this place might be a scam or something. Looks like I won't have any bows at my wedding and I'll be out the 121 dollars too!

That's why I never order things online that aren't sold in stores.

You might want to call the FBI on this one.

was this a criminal intent? perhaps not, so no the fbi is not going ot assist. for any internet related issues, you want to contact the ftc.

call a local florist and see if they can make the bows. in my crafting classes, I have taught many to tie hand made bows. it is basically easy, but is a little tricky holding all the ribbon.

I almost feel I should make them for you as a gift for your new life!

The FBI!? LOl, why not get the secret service involved too. Alley's suggestion is good. A small internet company like this may rely on their BBB rating and not want a complaint. Email them one last time first and tell them BEFORE you file one, that you plan to do so if they do not immediately refund your money. The BBB can't really do anything except mark the complaint on their record. They have much more incentive to avoid the complaint than do anything about it once it is lodged. If they don't comply, then file it with the charter that matches their business address.
