Games won't work
Posted by on
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- Ordered Cradle of Rome. Had it working fine till Lion came for Mac. Program stopped working. Went round and round with Big Fish Games for about OH 1 month. Decided to put it on my PC. Got the game worked for a while, then stopped loading. Emailed Big Fish Games went round and round for about OH 1 month again.
They respond with idiot emails with same replies every time. No fix. They can't figure out their own programs. You pay so little for some of these games its not worth the fight. They need to take better care of their customers. Why in hell would I buy another game for any platform from them when It probably won't work?

I was extremely dissatisfied with Big Fish games and deleted the entire kit and kaboodle. I am still receiving emails from Big Fish, and I am totally uninterested.

I can't play these games on my Netbook. The screen is too small and it cuts off the bottom of the game

I still recommend Activision on my Atari, Intellivision and Colecovision. You'll never find better than that.

I have a number of games on my PC that are great, like Luxor, the Bejeweled series, and Hoyle games. In addition, I have a Nintendo 64 and a PS 2.

On my computer, I'm still playing Skyrim, Battlefield 3, and Moedern Warfare 3. Wally, hows your new Lenovo laptop?

Big fish does tend to send a lot of spam. Whenever I played there games, it really lagged my computer. I no longer use it. I'd rather play Facebook games, or pogo.....

Did not order
Posted by on
I just got an e-mail saying that my Pay Pal account was charged $6.99 for a game, and doesn't say what the name of the game is. I didn't order anything from Big Fish games, as a matter of fact, I returned home at 10:30 PDT on Aug 5th (the date of the transaction) from a concert and the payment was received by Pay Pal at 21:31 PDT. The transaction ID is iM882863A33352258. What do I need to do?

Open a dispute on PayPal or, if it was charged to your credit or check card, go through the cardholder customer service to file a dispute.

Forward the email, preferably unopened to This sort of thing is usually a phishing email, and they are trying to obtain your information. Always check the area of the email where it shows the sender. If it is a legitimate PayPal email, they will address you by name. If it isn't, it will be your screen name or some such. Best wishes.

It sounds like there might be a Big Fish Game Club membership on the account. The Game Club membership is optional, and you can get more information about it here:

You can cancel the membership at any time, either by following the instructions in this help article:

Or by contacting customer support:

I joined the Big Fish Game club and within about two weeks I purchased three games. The first two games were downloaded correctly however, after numerous request for help and or a credit, after I performed all of the "help" topics I was never able to download my game, 'Nancy Drew's Danger by Design'. I canceled my membership and after several emails I sent them, even asking if they would apply that credit toward a different game - all my emails were ignored.
They claim to be the biggest web site for game downloads and my 1 little credit or dissadisfaction doesn't mean nadda!!!! I'm new to this big world of internet and no one from Big Fish Games couldn't care less. But I'm out the money. Now, I purchased another game at full price of $19.99 from and I can't get help with it either.
These game sites have given everyone selling something online a bad name and I don't trust any of them.

I had this problem too with more than one game from them. But, I had different results. I just emailed them and they issued me another credit.

I do have a few things to suggest.. 1) Are you sure you have enough memory to support the game? It's a huge file And 2, you might want to check the settings of your firewall if you have one. I know that was an issue for me on a few downloads from them.

I experienced the same problem. I called Big Fish Games and demaned a refund for every game that I was charged for (4). I threatened to dispute the charges with Capital One and that got their attention. The representative told me if I dispute the charges she would hang up on me. How's that for customer service. I was refunded the entire amount and my membership was cancelled. Capital One recommended that I cancel my credit card immediately, which I did. I'll never purchase another game from the web. It's not worth the aggravation.

I've had the most enjoyable experience with Big Fish Games. I've had the worse one with Real Arcade. Big Fish is very ethical and will try to do as much as possible to please my demands, even if I have to admit, I am not very computer literate, and therefore most of the problems appear to be coming from my lack of knowledge of the computer world. I highly recommend Big Fish Games, they have a terrific customer support.

I bought a games and they starting chargeing me 6.99 a month on my credit card I try several time to get through the first time I call them I was put on hold then it told me to try my call later I did thid three time it cost me money but I got someone and she told me I sign up for the games club I told her I did not I bought a games do not buy from bigfish games it a ripoff my credit card put a dispute on it I told them not to let them charge my credit card anymore

It sounds like most of you have issues that relate back to you not reading what you are purchasing. You are responsible for knowing what your computer can handle. Not the seller. I've had games not download right and been issued credits almost immediately after I email them. Some people shouldn't be let online without a chaperone.

I have also had a problem with you all. I play you online casino game on my IPad. I downloaded you app and the first few times was great but as time went on it just got worse. You all did an update and all of a sudden you could not win. I mean to the point that it was not even worth playing because you knew you would loose. The sad thing is I made friends and was have a good time. Then the last insult came as I finally did win and the slot jumped and now everyone I write to say well it's a connection problem well it's only a connection problem when you win big. I won a jackpot for 20 million which was quite high for that particular slot machine but since not one was winning it makes sense. It usually is at 5 million. I have written many times and all I get is some song and dance. Very poor customer service in my opinion.
