HILLVIEW, KENTUCKY -- That's right. We had broken up and I could see her being allowed to rent under our account with the Blockbuster card but Blockbuster went a step ahead and charged my bank account which she had no part of for the movies. She kept the movies completely and an overdraft fee from a bank caused me to spend 300 dollars on 3 movies she decided to never return. I called Blockbuster and they say there is nothing they could do. I spoke with a manager who said there was nothing they could do to remove the fees. I spoke to a cashier who went to school with my X and he confirmed it was she who was in here renting the movies.
I used my bank card as my second form of ID to sign up for the Blockbuster card. So why would Blockbuster allow her to rent movies on my credit card that she isn't even a cosigner or authorized user on?
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- To whom it may concern, I received a letter from Blockbuster stating that we have four videos that were returned late. The videos were rented specifically for the "5-day" rental agreement. I returned the videos prior to noon since that is the cut-off. I called your store and was told in a rude tone that the fault was mine, and that the charge would not be removed. Let me ask you, is the late charge fee more important to you than my future business? I certainly hope not.
If you would like to have me continue to rent from Blockbuster, please remove the late charges from my account. Otherwise, I will not rent from you again, and my complaint will be public with no resolution on the internet indefinitely for everyone to see.
To My3Cents...I just wanted to let you know that after a week of sending the letter to Blockbuster Video, I received a call from the manager. He immediately removed the late fee on our account! Thank you VERY much for your help. This site is great and encourage everyone to utilize it.
