Worst Customer Service I have ever had!!!!
Posted by Tracys_business on 01/10/2014
1804 W. FRANCIS AVE., WASHINGTON -- I placed an order online because Burger King delivers in my town. We have done this in the past with no problems. After a hour and a half I and no order (the say 60 minutes or less on the web site) I called to see if there was a problem. A female answered the phone, I told her I placed an online order and it there was an issue. First she said she called me to let me know my order would be late, I told her no one had called me about anything. She said yes she did call me, and she was very busy with backed up orders and only had two delivery drives. ( She never asked which order was mine) and didn't have time for this. I asked her when my order would be coming and she said when she had a driver. I told her I didn't want food that had been sitting there for an hour and she got really rude, I asked for her name she said no, I asked for the manager she said she was the manager. I asked to speak to the general manager and she said she was the general manager and then hung up on me. I called back and yes I was irate but I never raised my voice or was rude. I told her her customer service was horrible and I did not want my order and wished to speak to someone in charge, she said she was in charge and hung up on my again. I called 5 more times same thing. I even called the next day to try and talk to someone and was hung up on again. This is a very condensed version of what happened. I did make three different complaints but have heard nothing back from Burger King. When I was younger I worked at Burger King and if would of talked to a customer that way I would of been fired ASAP. They have lost a customer in me.

Did your food ever show up!!

I gave up on BK several years back due to a bad experience. I'd advise you do the same. It depends on whether McD's is better in your area - they are in mine. However, delivery I have never heard of.
Posted by clutzycook on 2014-01-11:
I've heard of BK and McD delivering, but not in the States.
Posted by FoDaddy19 on 2014-01-12:
It sounds like they were really overbooked with deliveries. I would've just canceled the order after an hour. It sounds like the manger was stressed out over the situation and was at her wits end. It was wrong for her to get short with you. But repeatedly calling her back was doing nothing but antagonizing her.

With all that said, it probably would've been easier just to go get the food yourself.

One French Fry on "Fry Burger "
Posted by Drdaqq on 12/11/2013
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA -- Just returned from my visit to BK. Ordered two of their "fry burgers" (no mayo) and 2 value rib sandwiches. One fry burger had one French fry on it, the other had a whole 2 French fries!!!! What made it worse, both burgers had mayo (I hate mayo) I was not going to walk all the way back!!!! My dogs were quite happy (lets face it they lick their rear ends so taste to them is not that important LOL). I wanted to let people know if their hungry and near Burger King #2241 (corner of Coldwater Canyon and 12853 victory Blvd. ) proceed west on victory about 1/2 block and visit McDonalds!!!! By the way attempted to contact BK by telephone (818-760-0961) all I got was a busy signal!!! [There] must be a whole lot of dissatisfied customers LOL!!!

Service
Posted by Mike68nuome1 on 12/11/2013
TOMS RIVER, NEW JERSEY -- On Dec 10, 2013 while at Burger King on Fisher Blvd in Toms River, NJ, I ordered a whopper with cheese meal. I told the girl at the counter that I didn't want pickles on it. When I got my food I sat down to eat it and the whopper had about 3 pickles on it. When I went back to the counter to complain the girl at the counter said I never said no pickles, which I did. I asked her for a replacement or my money back she said she can't do any thing. So I asked to see the manager, so she called the manager who was a young lady by the the of either Donna or Diana. I explained what happened the manager said she was sorry for what happened and replaced my whopper and an extra fries as she said mine probably got cold by coming up to ask about my sandwich. To me the service by the counter person was not customer nice. If it wasn't for the manager I might not of came back to Burger King again. But I'll give you's another chance for the politeness of the manager.

Cold Hamburger and No Results
Posted by Kidhonn on 12/02/2013
MULBERRY, FLORIDA -- We always use coupons and we go to Burger King all the time. We always order our burgers (hot off the broiler) when you get them, they are hot.
we went the other day, we were hungry, the burgers were cold. The manager comes by and ask (how are things). We told her about the burgers. [Then] another manager came by and we told her. We were not offered any compensation for lousy hamburgers and manager service. When you order (hot off the broiler) it take 2 to 3 minutes.

Annoying Very Loud Buzzing Noise, Bad Choice of Music
Posted by Judyvgr on 11/27/2013
ABERDEEN, WASHINGTON -- Cashier was very friendly. I think it was the fryer timer that was making all the noise. It was really loud, I can`t imagine what people with hearing aids were hearing. They were playing jazz over the intercom. I`m the older generation but that music was not fit for a Burger King.
As soon as customers left, the cashier was over to wipe the table.
I didn't care for the chicken sandwich, didn't look like a real chicken breast.

Bad Service, Old Salty Fries.
Posted by Taermougharred on 11/26/2013
MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS -- I got there and the supervisor/manager waited on us. She claimed everything's fresh especially those what they call Fantastic Fries....or so. Very salty I paid $2.49 for the large ( like a small ) and almost empty no kidding, I came back and showed her and she said they don't pack them anymore. I said is that for $2.49? After she said yes, she took from me and added some more scraping the scoop on the pan, putting all the salt in those little round box. Nasty fries both kind they have., I told her that no wonder why people still choose McDonalds. She replied yes, and seems like she doesn't care...well she is not the owner.

Poor Food and Poor Management
Posted by Sattar_lodhi on 11/22/2013
DELAWARE REST AREA ON I-95, DELAWARE -- I saw poster for the new King sandwich and thought to give it a try. It was around 3 pm on 11/19/2013. This was the worst sandwich I had eaten. The meat was cold, and was apparently sitting there for ages already cooked. The slice of cheese was cold. The French fries were cold and soggy. I called the management on the number listed on the receipt and was told that the manager was not available but they took my phone number and name and was told that the manager will call me. Three days and I am still waiting. Why don't they learn how to run the business from McDonalds is beyond me. Would never go to Burger King again.

Went for Lunch, Went Back to Work Without Lunch Because of Service
Posted by Dwallace008 on 11/20/2013
MONROE, OHIO -- I work in Monroe Ohio, and I went to Burger King for lunch, I only have thirty minutes for lunch. I went inside and didn't even get waited on until fifteen minutes after twelve. I ordered the fish sandwich meal with your new fries. At twenty five minutes after twelve, I was asking for my money back because I couldn't wait any longer. The manager got into the register and got my money, handed it to me and didn't apologize for my inconvenience or my wait. It only takes three minutes to fry a piece of fish, I've been in the restaurant business before. Nevertheless, I had to go back to work with No Lunch. This is very unacceptable. There were construction workers that came in behind me and I overheard them say that it doesn't matter what time of day you come in, it take thirty minutes to be waited on. THIRTY MINUTES!!!!!!! Whatever happened to making sure the customer is satisfied?

During the lunch rush, you're going to wait. The drive thru line typically gets longer, and the inside line typically gets longer, I've waited 10-15 minute in line before as well, it's just part of the deal. Also keep in mind that while it may only take 3 minutes to fry up a fish, if there are a dozen orders in front of yours, then you're going to end up waiting as well, if you were in the restaurant business before then you already know about this.

The manager didn't apologize to you do because your situation wasn't unique, chances are there were plenty of other people in there and/on in the drive thru line that were waiting just like you.

I realize it takes time, if there are a lot of people in the restaraunt, but there were only two people in front of me. I see contacting you, was a waist if time, and I will no longer visit any of your establishments. It might help if you hired more people or had more on the schedule during lunch hour. Thank you for your time.

Just to clarify something. I'm not an employee of Burger King. I'm just a random person on the internet.

Messed Up Order
Posted by One4maj3 on 11/16/2013
ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI -- Once again, the weakest link is the person who bags the order. I don't understand why you go through all of this printing and double checking my order when the bag person will not care if there are any special request such as a plain sandwich. I even went in this time. My bad that I did not check this order. It's a shame that the customer has to remove their food from the bad to check that your people did their job right. I can tell you this mistake has happened dozens of times to my family members alone, just think of the business you lose by this. When I called to tell the manager he of course offered his sincere apology but I have a drawer full of those. How about giving me a gift certificate. I am already out of my gas and time, and needless to say hungry.

Chicken in Salad
Posted by Vgpg on 10/05/2013
I ordered two tossed salads with chicken breast, take out. Each take out box had less than 1/4th of a breast. I called Burger King and after a long wait they agreed that I was correct. Their answer was come out and we will give you a fresh one. We ate our salads with very little chicken.
