Caiman fails to deliver purchased murchandise
Posted by Donathome on 03/25/2007
MIAMI, FLORIDA -- On 2/18/2007 I placed an order with Caiman.com (through Amazon) for $46.17. Within 3 days they sent mail back to me claiming they shipped my order. However, the order did not arrive by 3/25/2007.

I have sent over 15 mail messages to info@caiman.com, but the most common response is a form letter asking for my address. I do not believe that a numan is even reading my mail.

I have stopped payment with the credit card company. Amazon responded by placing a freeze on my account. Caiman eventually sent me a mail message agreeing to refund my money, but has not followed through. I believe that this was a delaying tactic on their part since Amazon has no record of the refund request.

I have been in constant contact with both Amazon and with the credit card company and sent them copies of the mail messages. Both agree that Caiman has the next move to refund my money.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

What kind of shipping were they using? If they were using book rate, it can easily take a month or longer.

I asked for tracking information and they never responded back (except with form letters) so I have no way of knowing what shipping they used. However, in the initial Email they said the arrivial would have been within 14 days. That is 1/2 month and I have waited over twice that long. I feel that something is wrong and that the company should have responded.

I am having the same problem with caiman. I placed an order through Tower.com-Caiman bought Tower. Caiman sent me an email saying that my 2 dvds were shipped on June 12th. I have sent them several emails asking where they are-caimans first response. It can take up take up to 14 days. Then it was it can take up to 21 days. Now their only response to my emails about my order are several emails asking for my exact physical address-something I've given them about 10 times. They're just giving me the run around and not answering any of my questions. They need to get their act together.
