Worm in Campbell's Chunky Soup!!
By -

MASSACHUSETTS -- I purchased a can of Campbell's Chunky brand Chicken & Corn Chowder on 12/4/06. Actually, I had purchased 6 cans of their soup in 3 varieties. Opened the can and microwaved it and split it with my daughter. While my daughter was eating the soup she spotted something on her spoon. She asked me what it was and I said probably a stem of some sort and took it off her spoon. I then looked at at closely and saw it was a WORM! The insect looked like a maggot and was about 3/4" long and fully intact. I called Campbell's 800 # on the can and they took all the info from the can and my contact info and said they would send a reimbursement check ($1.85?).

I returned all of the remaining Chunky soups to the store and I WILL NOT be buying their product ever again as obviously they have bad quality control. This experience was so traumatizing that I can't fathom eating a canned product of any kind ever. The customer service rep sounded like she gets these calls all the time which is truly disgusting.

I purchased these products because my son plays pop warner football and always admired the commercials with all of the pro-football players and their moms. He has been asking me for Chunky soup for months and for this to happen is disheartening. I am sorry but there is no excuse for an full insect to be in a can of soup. I feel as though all kinds of insects could be in their products just not detected.

Campbells "To Go" Throw Up Soup
By -

I have loved Campbell's soup since I was a kid. Unfortunately In the last 5 years I have noticed a decline in quality of a lot of products. I normally get instant soup from the dollar store next to work, the 2 for a dollar no name brand. I was shopping one day and noticed the Campbell's instant microwavable soup and thought if the dollar store stuff is good, then this must be awesome! Unfortunately I was sadly mistaken. Not only do the noodles taste like moldy cardboard but it has 300 mg more sodium and 50 more calories than the stuff I get at the dollar store! So please beware if you can taste food. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 1 only because the 5 pieces of corn in it were good.

Mealworn in Healthy choice New England

I am soooooo angry! I just opened my soup and began eating it, only to find a mealworm inside it. I thought "omg a worm." Thinking I was going to call campbells on Monday and have them reimburse seems like a joke. I will never ever buy soup again from them. This is by far the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I am vomiting of the thought of this. I will, everytime that I am in a store in that aisle. make a scene about soup and all of the things everyone seems to find in it from Campbells!

Cambell's Chunky New England Clam Chowder

NORTH FORK, CALIFORNIA -- On the day of March 28 2009 I made this soup for dinner for me, my friend, and my brother. And after my brother had finished his and I was on my last bite, my friend found a fly foot or wing in her soup. I went back to the bowl to see if I could find anything else and I found a fly wing.

I called the company and they said they couldn't do anything about it until Monday when we could talk to the cooks. But my friend and I feel really sick and have been throwing up parts of the fly, and I don't know should I call poison control or the health department.

Campbells Split Pea And Ham (Ingredients)

SEFFNER, FLORIDA -- Do you know how many times through the years I've tossed a can of Campbells soup into the garbage after my mouth finds something unidentifiable in it??? This time it was a piece of silicone type, fatty looking, boogery looking thing I had to pull out of my mouth. This soup is not fit for a pig to eat! I really thought I had learned my lesson with this company the last time I ate this swill, but noooo. I had to buy another can, but I assure you, I would rather die than eat another can of CAMPBELLS SOUP!

Why hasn't the health department closed this company down for the protection of the public? I'll bet the CEO would not even eat his own company's soups pulled from random shelves for 6 months, but then again, who knows? Its obvious that they don't care about what its patrons put in their mouths. Why would they care about what goes into their own? Maybe they enjoy eating pig swill. Maybe that's what kind of people they are behind closed doors. Who knows what's been in their mouths?

MERCHANTVILLE, NEW JERSEY -- Look, I like quick easy meals. Bought some chunky soup on sale, won"t pay full price - 1/3 of can was carrots. What? I'm not a rabbit. I want soup that's labeled in front of can, not carrot soup with other ingredient. All their soup is the same - carrots, carrot, carrots. What about something like celery? String beans? Peas? Are these vegetables too expensive?

New "improved" Cream of Mushroom soup
By -

I was horrified when I tasted the New recipe Cream of Mushroom Soup a few years ago. I used to love making Tuna Noodle Casserole with it and now I never make it because the soup tastes terrible. I LIKED the lumps in my soup - creamy does not equal BETTER! I tried other brands but apparently Campbell's makes many of them or they followed their lead because they have all ruined their creamed soups by changing the recipe and making them Smooth... yuck!

MSG In Campbell Soup And Products
By -

I would like to issue a complain on your products that you add MSG or hidden MSG in. As most people know.. MSG is a poison and thousands of people get very sick after eating products that contain MSG. We need to get it totally banned from all products. Please discontinue its use so we can again buy Campbell products.
