CLEVELAND, GEORGIA -- Where to start? I received a call from the rude woman in the office the day before vaguely asking me if I would be staying at the cabin? I did mess up on my part and got the logged dates for the cabin wrong. I was suppose to be there the day she called me and I thought it was the next day. She never once said "hey your reservations was for today when will you be at the cabin." I thought it was weird that she called and asked if we would be at the cabin but nothing was ever said about missing the reservation, just rudeness on her end as she spoke to me. So we continued on our vacation in Memphis and would be arriving the following day (thinking this was our reservation).

We get to the cabin and thought wow this is amazing, but as the time went on there we noticed the hot tub and tub wasn't working properly. We got in the hot tub and had to immediately get out because it smelled like so much bleach had been poured in it that it was stinging our eyes. So couldn't use the hot tub and then we decided we would get in the tub in the bedroom and it was so filthy with black mold and bugs (once the jets were ran) that I refused to get in. Not to mention only two out of 5 or 6 jets were not working. Spider webs everywhere including inside the cabin. Looks to me like no one had cleaned it in sometime.

On the last day of our stay we look in our account and they had taken 200 plus dollars out of our account?? We checked out at 9:30 am to leave early and the rude woman in the office texted me and said, "Do yall want to book another night??" "No, we don't why?" She says, "Because yall were suppose to leave yesterday??" So no call from the office. No call to tell us she was taking more money out?? I then called this woman and it always went to voicemail then she text me right behind it... Sorry but this is very unprofessional. This woman states that she had called us several times over the past week of me calling to speak to someone.

Neither my husband nor me received a call but she would always text? I asked to speak to Tom the owner and she said he would not call me. As an owner it is your responsibility to your customers. The lady then proceeded to email me back and forth about a deposit I told we would get back and still haven't gotten back until this day. TOM you are very unprofessional and your staff is unprofessional and your cabin is filthy and we will never rent from you all again as we do come to Helen a lot. They never leave messages and for some reason they think it is appropriate to only text?

Lots of lies and your cabin is definitely not worth 900 dollars for three nights (even though we only stayed two night. I will review you on BBB, any other site I can leave a bad review on. I would give a negative but only allows 1 and up. Seems with this owner and company they will not do right by the customer and keep filthy cabins. Please teach your staff to have better manners and do their job properly. I work in customer service and if someone was as rude as you all are we would not have a job. I'm surprised with all the negative reviews that yall even stay booked or open. Teach your staff some people skills and customer service!!!!

CLEVLAND, GEORGIA -- We were very excited to visit Helen, GA, it was both of our first time to the city. We wanted a cabin instead of a hotel room, so I booked Allure online, the cabin looked awesome. We arrived at 4:30 pm on our day of check in and the room was still dirty, we said ok everyone is human, things happen. We did want to take a bath before we headed into town but that was not possible because of the room being dirty. Someone was texting us on the way to the cabin wanting us to let them know when we arrived, so I texted that person about the shape of the room. They assured us that it would be took care of and promised us a wine and wood basket for our troubles, so we headed into town.

When we arrived back the cabin had been "cleaned", but not really, there was trash still in the cabin so it was not cleaned well. So the next day I texted back and asked about our wine and wood basket, they said it would be delivered. My husband wanted to walk out back to the creek and check it out when he returned. He said, "you will not want to go out there because there was bags of garbage and an animal had ripped them open." He said it looked like they were using the creek as a trash can. There was very little cooking supplies in the cabin when we tried to cook supper because German food was not my thing, we did not even have a pot.

So fast forward to check out day, I texted the person that had been texted us and informed them that the baskets never arrived because I did not want them to be charged for something we never received. The texter told me that they were so sorry a wood and smores bundle was delivered to the firepit. I told them, "no it wasn't because you would not leave smores outside in the heat." We stayed May 25-27. The texter then said someone was picking the bundle up and told me that we could have a free day when we returned for all our troubles, I told the texter that we would not be returning, we did not like Helen and we sure did not like the cabin and I asked for the free day to be applied to our cabin stay.

The texter said they would have a manager call me, this never happened. I called the office number and someone text me and said, "we will call you." I waited, no response. I then emailed the company and I received an email saying a manager would contact me when is the best time. I gave them 4 pm est. They said someone would call me that day, no one did and I waited this was June 2. Wendy ** was the only person's name that I got off of the email and she told me to do a review. So beware, do not rent from this cabin rental, it is the worst I have ever dealt with, lies and no one cares.

CLEVELAND, GEORGIA -- Our original cabin had a maintenance issue. Our rental agent Wendy upgraded us to another cabin and had free firewood delivered to us! It was such a kind unexpected gesture you just don't see nowadays!! She kept contact with us for whatever we needed the day of our arrival and throughout our stay. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and let us know she was available for whatever we needed! The cabin was gorgeous, and the scenery was stunning. We had an amazing Christmas our kids will never forget! I would recommend Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals to anyone who wants an amazing cabin experience!

HELEN, GEORGIA -- Cedar Creek Cabin Rentals provided us with the perfect cabin! My Men's Team (8 of us) and I were looking for a quiet get away, a place where we could be free of distractions in a natural setting nicely secluded up on a hill. We stayed at the HOLIDAY CABIN. We found the cabin had everything we needed for our weekend stay, including all cooking utensils, linens, washer/ dryer and towels too. The cabin even had satellite TV, so we could watch the Atlanta United games! We really enjoyed the Jacuzzi and the fire pit. We can highly recommend these luxurious accommodations nestled in the woods and will be coming back here again!

HELEN, GEORGIA -- I had a confirmation number for a specific cabin. They sent me directions and an access code for the lock. I opened the door and they called me to say I had booked a different cabin I had never heard of. A large group then showed up at the door saying they had just rented the cabin and the one next door. I left and was lead on a wild goose chase by their office.

Wendy in the office lied to me about what she had done. She was no help in finding the substitute cabin which was not satisfactory when we finally arrived. I left the next day with another lie from Wendy saying I would get a refund. I paid for three nights at chalet and stayed one night 20 miles away in a dirty and broken cabin. I have not received a refund, nor an apology. The owner is telling me lies now. Don't trust this so called company. They are liars and thieves.

BOBCAT LODGE, GEORGIA -- It was beautiful! Not only the cabin and view, but the interior as well! The decorations were beautiful, and the owner was so accommodating! It had everything we needed, including pots and pans, trash bags, and even dish and hand soap! It was very clean and well cared for. We won't book with another cabin rental because this experience was just so fantastic. All the other reviews I feel were unfair. So glad we booked this one.

CLEVELAND, GEORGIA -- What a great cabin! I loved the layout and decor. It had everything we wanted - plenty of sleeping space, grill, fire pit, beautiful view, foosball table, etc. There was even an Xbox with a bunch of games. Highly recommended!

HELEN, GEORGIA -- This business refuses to stop using our personal residential address as their business address. We have been asking them to correct this since August 2019 and they refuse to comply with our simple request. Their angry customers show up at my house looking for this business! Their real business address is 3165 Leconte Ave, Atlanta, GA 30319.

HELEN, GA -- A wonderful weekend - Beautiful views, centrally located for Helen, Dahlonega, Hiawassee.. Very cozy and romantic. Very modern and the shower and tub was to die for.. The jacuzzi is perfectly located ... I loved it so much that I'm sending my son and daughter in law this weekend! Wendy was fantastic and worked a last minute miracle! I can't say enough good things!!❤️❤️

HELEN, GEORGIA -- This Cabin experience was absolutely fantastic. The cabin was very clean, came with all needed accommodations, and host was very helpful with information about the area. I thought that I had booked for more nights than I did. When I realized what I had done, our host had no problems adding on an extra to make up for my mistake! Quiet, serene and all around an amazing experience! We will definitely be visiting again! 5 stars all the way!!
