LAKE WORTH, TEXAS -- Tried to place my order - person operating the intercom was extremely short then told me to drive around. I said I'm the done ordering. Complete silence - I said hello? She screamed, "I'm waiting on you!!!!" I drove off and purchased lunch from Chic filet .5 miles away. They are very courteous. I love that we have so many options in America.

Very Long Wait Time

EARLY, TEXAS -- I went inside to order 20-piece chicken tender family meal. 35-40 minutes later, I finally received my order. I was not the only customer who had a long wait time. Others who had ordered after us started to get their food. I had to tell them that I wanted my food now. Watching from across counter these college aged kids looked very disorganized and uninterested in doing the job they were being paid to do.

CORINTH, TEXAS -- I just had the 4 piece combo tender dinner in Corinth TX. At the time I ordered, I requested 2 honey mustards. The young lady informed me that only 1 comes with the dinner and if I wanted another the cost was 0.38 cents. Are you going broke or are you just trying to nickel and dime everyone that comes through the door? I was told by the manager that all Chicken Express is now charging for extra condiments. If this is the Standard Operating Procedure for Chicken Express I just ate there my last time.

SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX -- I stopped by Chicken Express, placed my order and proceeded to pay. I asked the attendant what kind of oil is used to cook the chicken? She didn't know, so I asked for the manager. The Manager said "we use animal lard." I told her animal lard causes high cholesterol and heart disease. She said, "oh that's what corporate sends to us to use!" I couldn't believe that in this day of trying to eat healthy that a major restaurant corporation is serving food cooked with animal lard! I told her I won't order food here any more!

SACHSE, TEXAS -- I found a huge fried hair ball in my fried okra. It looked like something they snaked out of a drain and it fell in the fryer. I showed the manager and he acted like it was no big deal and then proceeded to ask me if I would like anything else. Yeah sure, what else do you have back there?

MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- I asked for a side of fried pickles. The small 1.69 portion. Got home and discovered they gave me 7. That's 25 cents each? Really? Not to mention I'm a Baylor hospital employee and they forgot my discount twice. All they had to say was "sorry". Food is way too expensive for what they give you and undercooked. I did go back to inquire and stood in line forever which at that point my food was already cold. Will never go there again. Right by where I work but will go out of my way to go elsewhere.

Didn't Get What I Ordered

KATY, TEXAS -- I went thru the drive-thru on 6-15-14 at 12:53 pm and ordered 30 tenders with 3 family sides (2 mashed potatoes and 1 coleslaw). They were behind on cooking chicken and said it would take 15-20 minutes. I said okay and waited. When I got to my father's house for a Father's Day celebration, I found that I had received 1 Mashed Potatoes family side, 1 okra family side and 1 mac and cheese - I don't know where the okra and mac and cheese came from!!! Needless to say, it messed up the meal that was planned.
