Have I been scammed?
Posted by on
Recently became a "free" member of this dating-site. When I decided after a while to upgrade to full membership so that I could reply to some of the emails I had received, I mailed in a money order for membership. I sent it certified mail so I could make sure they had received it. Well, they did receive it and each time I have tried to find out why my membership has not been upgraded I get the run-around. I feel that I should have known better than to mail them any money... I had tried to find out if others had had problems of this type with this site, but guess most pay by credit card. At least that way you could notify your credit card company and refuse to allow them to take the money out of your account. Well, as they say, live and learn. At least other sites do offer you completely free trials...this one doesn't even though that's how they advertise themselves..."free"! Another complaint I have is that you don't know who is able to respond to your "winks" or "smiles" and who can't because of their policies. Very disappointed with them!

If you mailed a money order, they are traceable. In other words, if Christian Mingles cashed it and did not honor the membership you paid for, you can dispute it. Good luck.

Why is it that the 'Date a cougar' commercial shows young hot chicks and not cougars?

There's a date a cougar site? LOL that's kind of funny.

Yes it is funny, especially since the chicks in the ad are young and not old...

At what age do they consider a woman a cougar?

That's a very good question!
