HOUSTON, TEXAS -- At the corner of Clay/Brittmore in Houston Texas is a convenience store and a Churches Fried Chicken. Today about 9:30 AM I was parked there enjoying my coffee that I purchased from the convenience store, while I waited for an important phone call. Churches was closed at the time and I was legally parked and minding my own business, and staying away from the busy convenience store traffic.
A female Churches Fried Chicken person drives up in her car (the Churches Fried Chicken place was closed) and said that I was in an employee parking area which is not posted that way. I was parked with one (1) other car the area, and properly parked. There was at least 8-10 empty spaces available for employees or customers. She gives me a (talking to for parking there)not nicely eitherand said I was not to park there and to close the door of the truck (pick-up truck).
I guess I was in her parking space that does NOT AND I REPEAT NOT have HER name on any of the parking spaces. If she would have asked me kindly I would have been happy to have moved but I will not if someone treats me like a dog. Lady I am a human being and I will be treated that way!!
I would like to know who told her she was God and that she has a say to where people park. I believe this is still the United States of America and I have a right to park anywhere I please. Thank you. I found out her name is Huminder and her boss is Kevin. The employees are obviously afraid of these people and I had to go to the convenience store to get any information. The Convenience store said that they are not nice or friendly to them either and refuse to do their part to help clean up the rest rooms.
I strongly suggest, they need a LOT of customer service training because they have NO TRAINING. Further, I have eaten there and their food is BAD. I think I might need to contact the Health Department. Obviously, if they can't cook, can't clean up the restrooms, can't manage the store and they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills at all.
I wonder what good are they and they. Maybe they need to SHUT DOWN this store. I am not sure I have the correct store number but the only info I could get from the employee was store 11778!! District manager you might want to look in to your employees that run this store. Further If I want to park there and park with my door open I WILL! Probably Monday morning just for fun. If you think I am mad I AM.
ORANGE, TEXAS -- This afternoon, my husband stopped at Church's Fried Chicken to order some chicken for supper. He doesn't like to go to Church's but that is the only fried chicken restaurant in our small town. He was treated so badly as usual. The employees have this don't care attitude. Others that have gone there have reported to us the same thing, saying that they (the employees) just don't care if you order or not, or if you get what you ordered. Church's won't be getting any more of our business. We will look for a grocery store that sells fried chicken, and the employees are very friendly. Also, the chicken is fried just a bit too long, it is not a golden brown, but a bit dark.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- To whom it may concern: I go to the Church's Chicken on 79th and Damen. And every time I go I get my food and it's burned. And I ask can they cook me some more, they say no. And the reason why it is burned is because it is old grease. Why do they use old grease? Would you like to eat burned chicken? I know that you wouldn't so why do you sell it to the people who come there.
And I also go to the one on 69th Western and the chicken there stinks. I don't understand why you all sell that kind of food to people. And also why they put it in a bag, why not still the box because the bag is not good. I work at a hospital and that is not good to put in a bag. I hope that you all do something about this. Thank you.
DALLAS, TEXAS -- I enter Church's Chicken at the cross road at loop 12. I purchased two 2 piece orders of spicy chicken, with 2 biscuits and a medium drink. I paid for my order and left. As I drove off I bit into a chicken leg, and to my surprise it was bloody on the inside. I returned to the Church's and asked the lady for a refund on my purchase due to the chicken being undercooked. There was no manager in the store, the employer said "I cannot refund your money, my register will come up short."
I wrote on the back of my receipt my name and phone number and explained that the chicken was bloody and had the employer to sign the receipt. She told me the manager would be back, she had to call him. I returned at 4pm, she stated that another customer came in with a 10 piece and her chicken was bloody. She also told me that the manager came in and he said he would be back. It has been 2 days and the manager has not contacted me. I feel as though if they cannot cook the chicken properly, they should obtain better management. I still have not received my refund.
TRINITY, TEXAS -- My son has an opportunity but needs a legal document from the company that he is not working there anymore. The manager refuses to sign such government document and now my son may miss out on this benefit which would help him and his family. The human resources of the corporate office will fax to the institution but can't get to it to the end of the week, but the problem is it is needed much sooner like yesterday instead of tomorrow.
The woman at the center did not realize that he needed this till today but since there is a deadline there is not much more she can do and the manager refuses to sign and the managers headquarters says they can't get to it till the end of the week. What problems is there in a manager signing that an employee no longer works there. This is not for unemployment benefits, this is a document that has no ramifications for the business, but would open up a opportunity for my son which now he will probably not be able to receive. Signed just a sad mom.
Went to a restaurant in Anderson South Carolina called Church's Chicken on Shockley Ferry Road. When we walked in, we were left standing with another staffs back turned who never acknowledged us for about a good fifth-teen minutes. No-one would take our order and when they did we waited for another thirty minutes before we got two sandwiches and a two piece meal. The shift manager waited on us didn't offer us anything for our wait or say she was sorry. She just gave us our food like nothing was wrong. One staff stood there and ate food. The appearance of the place was nasty and the grease the food was cooked in hadn't been changed.
On Sunday July 10, 2011 I pulled in the Church's Chicken drive through. After being in line for about 5 minutes, the car in front of me pulled off. Next, I continued to wait for approximately another 5-8 minutes when I was then asked to come inside. Upon entering, I was asked if I had placed my order and I then stated that I had been in line in the drive through. All I got was a quick "sorry for the wait." There was a mix up on getting a larger size and pricing. My strawberry lemonade drink had not 1 drop of ice in it, and there was a mix up on the size of the large.
The cashier stated that she had been out for 2 weeks and had just come back and was new to the new sizing. There was no customer service, or courtesy offered for all of the inconsistencies and inconveniences. I have never been so shocked as well as ill treated. I frequent the chain at least 1-2 times weekly. The store located in Greensboro, NC on Randleman Rd. is great and this store definitely needs to take some lessons from them.
JONESBORO, GEORGIA -- I was in line in the lobby. It was a long line and it was only one person on front counter. It's my neighborhood store so I know who the manager is. She is always outside smoking. The line was long because the cook wasn't told to drop any more chicken because the store manager was outside. Then as I'm in line, she comes in yelling cause there wasn't any chicken and people had to wait for it to be cooked.
So that tells you about how long store manager was outside then when she comes in, I never saw her wash her hands. She constantly coughs and don't even cover her mouth. I guess she feels she don't have to because she is the store manager. While you're in line for so long, you tend to notice things that you wouldn't normally notice.
MOULTRIE, GEORGIA -- First, let me say I prefer Churches Chicken even though we have other chicken businesses to choose from. This morning I waited until 10:06 to go through the drive-in. As I was sitting waiting on someone to take my order, an employee got out of her car and walked in front of my car giving me a not so welcoming look.
She went in the front door and got on the microphone telling me it would be another 10 minutes before they would open. I said I thought they opened at 10 and she said they did but they had to wait for things to "warm up" whatever that means. This is the second time they were late opening. I think someone needs to check into this before more customers decide to use another chicken business.
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- On December 26, 2010 I went to location in Indianapolis Lafayette Rd. I went through the Drive Thru. I placed my order a 2 PC white all breast meal with mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. When I got to the window something told me to check your order so I did. My coleslaw wasn't there. The gentle man told me that the 2PC meal doesn't come with 2 side orders. Which I already knew it only came with 1 side order. But I stated I wanted coleslaw as well.
Instead of listening to your customer don't assume I wouldn't pay for an additional side order. I just requested my money back because I really wasn't feeling like that. Good customer service is so hard to find at this location. I would never go to this location again. The manager on duty never asked what was wrong. No nothing. So now I'm going to call this location manager to see what resolution they will give me.
