COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Visiting Church's Chicken on Main Street close to downtown Columbus, Ohio makes me feel like I'm collecting evidence to write a horror book. I don't visit often, but when I do I feel as if I am adding information to my book.

This time, I ordered a 9 pc special. (just chicken) I was told it comes with 3 white PCS and the rest dark. I asked for 3 wings and the rest legs. I wasn't told I would be waiting 7 minutes for my order, someone put the chicken on the wrong timer. when I got home I had 2 breast, 1 wing, and 6 legs. we started eating, put the hot sauce all over my breast. first I tasted the hot sauce as I continue to eat my mouth was filled with a burnt taste. I turned on the big light and looked at the chicken it was burnt. by then 4 PCS was ate by my family.
I called and person whom answered the phone did not introduce themselves. I told her my dilemma, she said bring the chicken back. I stated I was not coming back tonight, she said if you do make sure you have a receipt. what happened to "I apologize" she made me feel as if I stole some burnt chicken and that it was my fault. I was inconvenienced, we could not eat the chicken, and I really do not understand why this location is still open. the people whom are called managers has poor skills, slow, it is ok to be slow if your getting the orders right. the rating for the service was hard because I could not find what comes before the star. They do not deserve 1 star.
I was told there was a15 minute wait on chicken. After 25 minutes I was still waiting on my order. After pointing out this fact to the employees they got a attitude like so what . The female manager showed no concern about I was saying, but as I was leaving I seen that same manager taking two boxes of chicken out to her families car. Add reply

Went to a restaurant in Anderson South Carolina called Churches Chicken on Shockley Ferry Road when we walked in we were left standing with another staffs back turned who never acknowledged us for about a good fifth-teen minutes no-one would take our order and when they did we waited for another thirty minutes before we got two sandwiches and a two piece meal the shift manager waited on us didn't offer us anything for our wait or say she was sorry she just gave us our food like nothing was wrong. One staff stood there and ate food the appearance of the place was nasty and the grease the food was cooked in hadn't been changed. 2 Replies - Latest reply on 07/23/2011Add reply
On Sunday July 10, 2011 I pulled in the Church's Chicken drive thru. After being in line for about 5 minutes, the car in front of me pulled off. Next, I continued to wait for approximately another 5-8 minutes when I was then asked to come inside. Upon entering, I was asked if I had placed my order and I then stated that I had been in line in the drive thru. All I got was a quick sorry for the wait. There was a mix up on getting a larger size and pricing. My strawberry lemonade drink had not 1 drop of ice in it, and there was a mix up on the size of the large. The cashier stated that she had been out for 2 weeks and had just come back and was new to the new sizing. There was no customer service, or courtesy offered for all of the inconsistencies and inconveniences. I have never been so shocked as well as ill treated. I frequent the chain at least 1 - 2 times weekly.

The store located in Greensboro, NC on Randleman Rd. is great and this store definitely needs to take some lessons from them.
Church's Chicken in Palestine, TX has a roach problemm that I have on video and posted online. Church's accused me of fabricating the video and eventually ignored it. As a result, I built a website about the entire situation at http://www.churchssucks.com and also includes a 15 minute interview with the store manager that is rather humorous. So enjoy! 5 Replies - Latest reply on 06/30/2011Add reply
JONESBORO, GEORGIA -- I was in line in the lobby. It was a long line and it was only one person on front counter its my neighborhood store so I know who the manager is. She is always outside smoking. the line was long because the cook wasn't told to drop any more chiken because the store manager was outside. then as I'm in line. she comes in yelling cause their wasn't any chicken and people had to wait for it to be cooked so that tells you about how long store manager was out side then when she comes in I never saw her wash her hands then she constantly coughs and don't even cover her mouth I guess she feels she don't have to because she is the store manager while your in line for so long you tend to notice things that you wouldn't normally notice1 Replies - Latest reply on 08/17/2012Add reply
This is a Saturday morning in April and more important it 11:00am time for chicken. I pull up to the speaker and I'm notified immediately that they don't have any chicken! How do you run a chicken place with no chicken? Pissed off I drove away hungry and mad. 14 Replies - Latest reply on 04/10/2011Add reply

go through the drive-in. As I was sitting waiting on someone to take my order, an employee got out of her car and walked in front of my car, giving me a not so welcoming look. She went in the front door and got on the microphone telling me it would be another 10 minutes before they would open. I said I thought they opened at 10 and she said they did, but they had to wait for things to "warm up"; whatever that means. This is the second time they were late opening.
I think someone needs to check into this before more customers decide to use another chicken business.

I went through the Drive Thur. I placed my order a 2 PC white all breast meal with mash potatoes and gravy and cole slaw. When I got to the window something told me to check your order so I did. My cole slaw wasn't there the gentle man told me that the 2PC meal doesn't come with 2 side orders. Which I already knew it only came with 1 side order. But I stated I wanted Cole slaw as well. Instead of listening to your customer don't assume I wouldn't pay for an additional side order. I just requested my money back because I really wasn't feeling like that. Good customer service is so hard to find at this location. I would never go to this location again. The manager on duty never asked what was wrong no nothing. So now I'm gonna call this location manager to see what resolution they will give me.

ORANGE, TEXAS -- This afternoon my husband stopped at Church's Fried Chicken to order some chicken for supper. He doesn't like to go to Church's but that is the only fried chicken restaurant in our small town. He was treated so badly as usual. The employees have this don't care attitude. Others that have gone there have reported to us the same thing, saying that they (the employees) just don't care if you order or not, or if you get what you ordered. Church's won't be getting any more of our business. We will look for a grocery store that sells fried chicken, and the employees are very friendly.

Also the chicken is fried just a bit too long, it is not a golden brown, but a bit dark.
