MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA -- CMI PrintGraphix of Mechanicsburg, PA repeatedly promised to meet my print deadline of June 29, 2010; they agreed to have 2,100 copies of the magazine on my doorstep on that day. In addition, they were to mail magazines to my subscribers.
They missed my deadline and got me 90 copies of the magazine on July 1. They said another shipment of magazines would arrive on July 2 and agreed to knock $500 off my bill. Well, on July 2 they told me the magazines wouldn't arrive until July 6, completely missing one of the biggest sales weekends of the year. That meant on July 2 I had to make a nine-hour round trip to pick the magazines up from the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport. I have asked for compensation for this trip and so far they've failed to respond.
That's not all. Last week, the rest of the shipment arrived, including a large damaged box that looks like the magazines were inappropriately packed and now too damaged to sell. Furthermore, it's July 13 and I keep receiving calls and emails from subscribers wondering where their magazines are. CMI PrintGraphix claims they mailed out the magazine on July 6. Readers should have gotten their magazines nearly two weeks ago. If you get a appealing quote from CMI PrintGraphix for a print job, do not walk away, RUN!
