FORT WAYNE, INDIANA -- Telephone, internet, and TV all went out. TV was fixed over the phone by resetting cable boxes. Scheduled appointment to have internet and phone looked at. Received email on iPhone (which is part of Comcast voice mail service) that because we didn't answer the phone when they called one hour before the appointment, the appointment was cancelled (remember phone was out of order). Rescheduled appointment. Wife and I sat with front door open waiting. After approximately 6 hours received another email that said appointment was cancelled because tech showed up at door and nobody was home (a complete fabrication). Eventually found out that I had to change the phone number on my account to a cell phone so they could call. 10 hours later a tech showed up and had the problem resolved in 10 minutes. Comcast needs to move their call center from off shore back to the states and train their operators that when a customer reports a phone out of order it will probable be impossible to reach them via phone.Add reply
CONCORD, CALIFORNIA -- After shutting off our internet service, no reason given, Tech support sent out a crew who replaced the cable from street to house two days later. No service with new cable. Next tech service appt is a no show and then a contractor arrives the following day, can't get service to work, calls supervisor, who calls Comcast. Third hand feedback, just call customer support and they will cancel your old service and start up new service at a higher price. I thank the young tech for his help and call Comcast to cancel service. I am now happy with AT&T.Add reply
SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY -- I am customer of Comcast for a long time but recently had multiple SUPER BAD experiences with their customer service. I cannot think of any bad service worse than theirs. I changed houses and asked them to move my service to my new house. They took 2 weeks to do so - that too when I spoke to their head of customer service and threatened him that I will cancel my services with them.
Their customer service is PATHETIC. Their agents don't have any courtesy to talk to customers; they have no idea of what’s happening with the account. It took me almost 20 calls and cumulatively over 8 hrs on the call. This SUCKS! Agents keep transferring the calls to other agents as they have no clue on the status or plan.
My services get intermittently get disconnected without any prior notification and when I call COMCAST customer service, I understand it’s happening due to outage in my area. When I called their customer service and told him that I am unhappy with their customer service, he simply asked me to disconnect my services with them – IS THIS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE COMCAST CAN OFFER?
My sincere advice – DO NOT use Comcast services until you don’t have any other option.
BOULDER, COLORADO -- I returned equipment over 4 months ago. I have not received check for $106 I was supposed to get. I tried to call Comcast and spent 45 minutes on the phone and only 1 human spoke to me - promised that she would transfer me to another human - no such luck. I went to chat - the chat person could not help me - OH BY THE WAY!!!! It took me 12 phone calls to Comcast to actually RETURN THE EQUIPMENT because there was no office opened on the weekend when I moved out of the condo - This process has cost me hours of my time - HORS AND HOURS - and is worth far more than $106.
COMCAST customer service is a morass and I feel like taking an add in the New York times and telling everyone how much it SUCKS AND SUCKS AND SUCKS.
SAINT CHARLES, ILLINOIS -- Beware of Comcast's lying sales reps. They will promise you whatever you want to hear then not follow through. A sales representative promised me that if I switched from AT&T I would be given the same package at the same price. I have an invoice to back it up. I had DVR service on both of my TVs with AT&T but when Comcast set us up all we received was a regular digital box on one TV and a very limited box on my second TV and we were told we need to pay more for the DVR service. This is deliberate bait and switch consumer fraud and I will no longer deal with a company that is guilty of fraud. They should be shut down.Add reply
WALESKA, GEORGIA -- Paid a deposit of $50.00 for an installation at my res. the young man that was sent out to do the installation said that he could not do the work because my home was a 2 story dwelling and he could not make the hook up. it took me several hours and numerous phone calls to many different numbers to finally reach customer NO service. by this time I was very [snip] off for the length of time it took to talk with someone. after all this COMCAST debited my account for the deposit but I was told that it would take 30 days for me to get reimbursed MY money not COMCAST'S money.if it is going to take 30 days, put interest on the deposit. P.S. everyone I talked to before I talked to someone at Comcast told me that COMCAST'S service was awful!1 Replies - Latest reply on 10/11/2013Add reply

PEARLAND, TEXAS -- For the past 2 weeks, we've signed up with Comcast from AT&T. Our landline is out, they delivered incomplete equipments and has failed to show up to complete the job. Several appointments not kept and no communication whatsoever. The security system has been out from the get go. Their customer service department not helping matters and will keep you on hold for ever, until you either hang up or call again for the same treatment. They make promises and never deliver. Appointments so spaced out . No Concern for customer satisfaction.
Will not recommend this company to my worse enemy. Full of liars.
TURNERS FALLS, MASSACHUSETTS -- On 8/31/2013 at 2:00 PM, I called Comcast because I had no internet service. After being bounced around (by two representatives that I will not mention), I was connected to Bob, from Palmer, who (at 2:30 PM) went above and beyond to work with me on choosing the best package for my needs and save a buck or two while I was at it. Bob was very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs and went above and beyond to troubleshoot my existing problems.
Unfortunately, my internet issue could not be resolved, so Bob connected me with Michelle at Tech Support (at 2:45 PM) who was also incredible and diagnosed and walked me through fixing my problem in 5 minutes. These are 2 great Comcast Employees who deserve kudos. I never think to find a way to give thanks or compliments, but they both prompted me to do so. I hope they get the recognition they deserve.
Huge wait for help with a billing question! Long (25 minutes so far) wait to speak to them!
Long waits translates into MANY people with billing issues!
