Perfect, No Problems at All!

TORONTO -- After reading many reviews, even before I transferred my number, which completes your commitment, I took the risk and completed the process to become a Comwave Client. Despite the negative reviews/comments, I may be one of minority who really appreciates the service and money saved being a Comwave client. I changed after leaving Bell & Rogers. I used Comwave years ago, for long distance only. I had Bell for all my other phone requirements. They charged me 6.97 and after 5 years my long distance went up to 7.33. Both these rates included taxes; No complaints!

When I switched to Rogers I decided to put everything into one bundle, thus leaving Comwave. After three months with Rogers, I could not take the inconsistency with fluctuating rates and the poor customer service. I switched to Comwave. The process to do so was painless. The rate is perfect for my needs. The profile page showing the details of usage etc., is set up beautifully, easy to access and use. The wait time for customer service has NEVER been longer than 5 minutes.

The customer representatives are on board with quoting the rates that were quoted to me from the beginning (believe me, I tested them on this) and I was able to speak with and email the same woman who contacted me to advise me of when the set up would take place etc. Granted, the day of set up did not take place, as they were overwhelmed with the volume of new customers. However, they more than made up for their mistake with a Saturday morning appointment; giving a window of time and I had someone at my door at 8:00 in the morning, leaving my day completely open. The technician was at my home for less than half an hour.

Even after reading the reviews, which are not in favor of Comwave, I still decided, that with all the 5 years of my long distance service, they deserved more than what I was reading about them; I took the plunge and I continue to be satisfied. THANK YOU COMWAVE and I truly hope this review speaks volumes about your company and more people join the Comwave Team!!!

I ordered Internet service with this company in may 2015. They scheduled to send technician one day before they sent me text message and changed my appointment without my consent. After technician didn't show up, even with new changed schedule and worse part they have already charged my first bill without confirming that I got service or not. Every time I call after 15 min representative asked me to keep waiting till they find what happened and they hang up the phone. I have spoken to several supervisors. I was so frustrated, I have spent over $200 and no service, no money and waste lot of time.

I called and cancelled my service. Now, I have to fight for my refund after one and half months. On June 9th and June 10th received two refunds - one $84 for activation fee and second $49.94 for first bill. Still I didn't get the $75 for my modem which they have received already. Their customer representative confirmed and also with tracking number, I have confirmed. About a month ago, I called again to know about my $75. Representative told me "It's applied today and you will receive within 48 hours," which I never received. Today, I called them they told me they already issued the $84 that they pay for activation was for modem!!! Whaattt???

Can you believe it and when ask check my history "How much you charged me and how much did you pay me?" Do the simple math. The representative said I have to send my bank statement... Come-on. You guys look at account... And he said he will transfer to supervisor and it's been 36 min I am still waiting for supervisor... It's just happened now (July 20th 2015 Monday 3:25 pm).. This company they want just your money... Just stay away with this company... Stay away.

MISSISSAUGA -- They (Comwave) told us over the phone that they would offer us 50mbps for $50 a month. This offer was accepted by us and the deal was settled after repeating many agreements over the phone to ensure everything was correct and understood. Later on we realized the connection was horrible and called back asking what the situation is.

They said we don't have 50mbps, they gave us 6mbps. We argued that when we signed up the representative offered us 50mbps and that it was on the recording. They said in order for them to listen to the tape we had to pay $30. We told them we are not paying for them to listen to a tape. After a long wait and talking to many different people, they said they will listen to the tape free of charge and check if the deal we said was agreed on was in fact 50mpbs for $50/month. We were told it would take time for them to listen to the tape and that we would get a call back the next day.

The next day they called back saying that 50mbps for $50 a month was in matter of fact said on the recording so they are going to raise the speed to 50mbps and it would take effect the morning of July 17, 2015. We checked our speed and it was nowhere close to 50mbps. We called back asking why we still don't have the speed promised. They changed their story saying that because of "accents" it was misunderstood and the agreement was on 15mbps. So at the end we didn't get our 50mpbs.

We ended up having 6mpbs entered in their system but yet we were paying $50 for a plan that's $40 (6mbps Unlimited for $40) and the agreement over the phone was "mistaken" because 50 and 15 sound alike. So 15 and 50 were said, but 6 was entered paying $50 for a $40 service. Comwave is the WORST provider. They are full of lies and deceive you, and the story they tell you changes with every different representative you speak with.

TORONTO -- DON'T EVEN THINK TO SIGN UP WITH COMWAVE!!! Comwave is absolutely the worst telecom company when it comes to customer support and trust me you will need it very soon. I had to call them on my 3rd day of service. February 7, 2015 I woke up to no internet whatsoever. I firstly called Rogers because I was told by Comwave account manager that I can call *8 directly because they are their resellers. (Lie number one). At Rogers I found out that they don't even have my information and I was told to call Comwave. I had to wait until 10am and then called.

First time I waited for 50 minutes in queue, listening how Comwave is striving to provide quick customer support. I hung up, called in 20 minutes again and again waited for 30 minutes. I hung up again and called back in another 20 minutes. While waiting I "took advantage" of their call back service and hung up. I received an automated call from Comwave scam squat immediately and automated message told me I'm number one in line... do not get too exited. I was back to infinite waiting in queue for the last time. After another 30 minutes of waiting I realized that nobody is going to pick up the phone today at all.

I do not understand how telecom company can have such poor communication service. Do not sign up with Comwave. YOU WILL BE PUNCHING BRICK WALL WITH YOUR HEAD!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!!!

TORONTO -- I am a landlord. I had a tenant who was dying and wanted to save some money. He had bad credit. He could not afford the $400 for the security deposit. He asked me to put the $400 on my credit card and he would pay me back over time. I agreed. I called Comwave and repeated many times and was assured during the signup that my credit card was only to be used this one time and would never be used again. The Comwave representative promised this was a onetime only use of my credit card.

For 6 months all was good. The money came out of the wife bank account. No problems. The tenant died. His wife had a payment go NSF. So they charge my credit card. I called them up and said stop that return my money. They said, “Not your account. We won't can't talk to you”. I'm like, “You charged my credit card. You can talk to me about that”. They said, “Nope. Try emailing customer service proof it's your credit card”.

I emailed customer service a picture of my credit card my bill showing the Comwave charge and a note saying, “Charging my credit card. You do not have authorization”. Call them up next day. They take forever to finally say, “We still won't talk to you”. I tried calling my credit card company with Comwave on the phone. They would not talk to us as it was not my account. They would not transfer me to anyone else as I did not have an account.

I ended up having to cancel my credit card and getting a new number as they would not remove my number from their system. The wife ended up canceling the service and not returning the equipment. 3 months later I still get notices that they have tried to charge my card again and again. I considered getting the service when it was first installed but dealing with thief customer service I would not touch these liars and horrible managed company with a ten foot pole. Stay away.

NORTH YORK, ONTARIO -- Many promises were made when I called Comwave for internet service in January 2018. More speed than I had; in fact much more. They promised to run a cable to my house. It all sounded too good to be true, and that should have been my first warning sign. They sent out the cable receiver boxes (3 of them) and asked for a scan of a cancelled cheque. I was given an installation date and time and the boxes arrived in a couple of days. The day and time of installation came and went. No technician.

I called and was informed that Comwave was unable to install a cable and I would not be getting their services. A return label was to be sent to my email so I could return the equipment. The label never arrived. No contact whatsoever; no emails, no phone calls (they had my phone number as it was my account number). Then one day, the $450 for the equipment is taken from my account. I called them. They said that since I didn't return the equipment, I was charged for it. I informed them that I did not receive a label. They said it was sent.

I asked for the email address it was sent to, and it turns out it was wrong. No apologies ever through any of this. The email was corrected, and I was assured by a supervisor that when they received a tracking number from FedEx, the refund would be sent. Didn't happen. I called back. The equipment was received and signed for, and a refund request was issued and I was assured that the refund would be in my account in 5-9 business days.

I called to check after 7 days. The refund request still hadn't been requested, as the equipment was only marked in the system as returned after my phone call. The request was processed, again, and I was also told that if I had not called, the refund would not have been requested. It is not an automatic process. I was assured that I would get the refund in 5-9 business days. I spoke with a supervisor, and she was able to reduce the timeline to 5 days. The takeaway for all this is to ask lots of questions and don't give a way that Comwave can charge you until you have the services. A better takeaway is to avoid doing business with Comwave. Not good.

Defrauded and Slandered by Comwave

TORONTO -- I've been defrauded, negatively represented and slandered! DON'T EVER do business With COMWAVE!!! I didn't... and still they managed to cheated me. Not directly out of my money, but money that could have been extended to me AND now they've slandered my good name too! They are a pack of slanderous, fraudulent crooks, out to steal people's hard-earned money and reputations, with inferior, defunct service they don't & CAN'T provide.

I have never, ever, EVER been a customer of Comwave (and I never will be)! Yet recently I discovered that my credit rating was way down and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why. The company I was dealing with indicated that I had an outstanding balance owing a creditor on my file. So I pulled a credit bureau report and discovered that Comwave had erroneously sent my name and personal information to a collections agency more than TWO (2) years ago.

I called Comwave right away to sort it out. The customer service representative (I purposely put that title in lower case letters because what they offer can hardly be justified as service) had me on the phone for more than half hour before she indicated that nothing could be done on the weekend and I needed to call back during the week.

Of course, without fail, I called back the following Monday to speak with their "credit department" **Side note: They don't have a Credit Department! All five (5) of the personnel I spoke with sounded completely shocked at the suggestion that I wanted to speak with their Credit Department and tried very unsuccessfully to fake it after the initial shock registered in their voices. I wasn't fooled (nor a fool... but I suggest you would be if you ever do business with this company)**

The long and short of it is this: after approx. two hours on the phone with a total of six (6) customer service reps, in the end all they told me was that they have NO RECORD OF ME; not my name, phone number, address, postal code, etc. etc., NOTHING AT ALL (Ya think? That's what I said! I've NEVER ever, been your customers!!!) so they can do NOTHING AT ALL for me and I'm OUT OF LUCK!

But my credit rating is being negatively impacted by these frauds! I can't even write a review on the BBB website because I'm NOT a customer of these losers. I'll find a way to report them though; this is far from over! Snail mail still works. Currently, I have an open investigation in effect through the credit bureau and will go so far as to hit Comwave with a lawsuit if need be, for everything the lawyer and I can come up with. Meanwhile, this is a gigantic waste of my time and efforts based purely on their idiocy. I repeat: DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH COMWAVE! THEY ARE FRAUDS!

# Say NO to Comwave

MISSISSAUGA -- Hello, I read an advertisement of comwave in local news paper and became interested. I wanted to move my phone and interest connection to Comwave but was concerned with the bad online reviews. I reached out to social media of Comwave and received response from Mark Harfield, Director, Social Media, Comwave. He assured that “Comwave Network is safe to say that our network is reliable and works properly”. He termed the online posters as dishonest who do not want to pay dues to Comwave. He assured that in case of any tech issues I can reach out to him directly. Based on his false assurance I got internet and home phone connection.
The internet connection was promptly set up and I liked the way the connection and communication was done by COMWAVE. But the good things just ended there itself with the instillation of internet connection. Internet disconnects frequently ( 100's of times in a day), or there is no internet available most of the time. Further when there was internet available the speed fluctuates between 6-10 mbps . On paper I have an internet connection with a download speed of 30 mbps. I have spent hours together calling COMWAVE. I was assured and reassured that it will work but I am very sad to tell you that “COMWAVE internet connection does not work” and the reviews of people where absolutely correct.
I called the so called director of Comwave and got no response. Voice messages and emails remained unanswered. It is now 7-8 months and still Comwave internet connection do not work. I spent hours and hours calling tech support.
Finally I gave a 30 days notice to Comwave to either fix the issue or take away the garbage cable box. Comwave still is playing tricks by saying that they have fixed the problem. I will teach Comwave a lesson and will go to court to terminate the 3 year contract. Comwave represents fraud, cheating, false representation and is a crooked company.
Learn from my mistake, say # No to Comwave

They Are Scammers

MISSISSAUGA -- So basically we canceled our home internet with them and they confirmed the cancellation. We canceled around January 16th-22nd. We needed one month notice. That is fine. We understood that. Told them we decided to go with another carrier. We received another modem for and we obviously assumed it was from our new carrier so we didn't read the shipping address.

Couple of days later, we called them to just remind them to cancel our subscription and check the update, the man on the phone kept trying to sell us other services and delay the cancellation and we told them which carrier we decided to go with and already went and made payments. They finally decided to agree and said all services will be stopped by February 16th.

The next day, a man in a van with our NEW carrier, came to our door and said he was with the NEW carrier here to install the modem. We did not question it because it was around the same time that the new carrier was supposed to be coming.

Next morning we receive a message from Comwave saying "hope you enjoyed the installation service". Called them and asked how A MAN from COMWAVE in another carrier van that they knew we went with, and did not even mention Comwave came into our home and installed a modem when COMWAVE was already canceled. The first person I spoke to said that yes they sent the man so I asked to speak to someone in customer service because this jeopardizes the safety of our home. The customer service supervisor would not give me any information since I was calling on behalf of my mother.

I am furious at this service because a strange man was in our home. Like that should be illegal since the man said nothing about Comwave and that was who sent him. Comwave KNOWING our new carrier sent a stranger in a car of the new carrier. DO NOT GO WITH COMWAVE. WE ALWAYS HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM BUT this was the worst. Their home WiFi internet is so slow and their support is even worse.

CANADA -- I recently moved on Dec 1. I canceled and called Bell. I was canceling and moving Oct 30. I decided to sign up with Comwave at my new address as there special looked good. In the sign up call they said they would handle everything with Bell about calling them to cancel and so I never called Bell then. I was told not to worry they would handle everything with Bell.

When their technician got here Dec 3 they could not connect wires without them being all over across my yard and roof and onto my neighbor's house. I did not like this so I said I was canceling with Comwave. I called Comwave then to cancel. That day they sent me instructions to return equipment. I did. They never said anything about filling a form so my service would be canceled with Bell and they never said I had to inform Bell that time in December. If they had it would have avoided my Bell charges which were still going and I did not know as I thought it was all taken care of when I signed up with Comwave.

In summary they never contacted Bell and Bell kept charging me for services at a house I did not even live in any more. I finally got my Bell bill saw the charges and called them. Bell said they were not informed sooner of cancellation. Later I called and asked Comwave why they never informed Bell that I canceled and they claim then I had to fill a form which I never got nor did they send me where or location of this form.

All in all they could not provide me with a good service. They failed to communicate to Bell the day I called in that my service is no longer with Bell to the day I signed with them Nov 27. So Bell continued to bill me for a month. Do not trust this company. It lies and cannot provide quality service.
