The Cozy Pineapple Is A Scam! Beware!

I ordered something from the Cozy Pineapple over three weeks ago and the item never came. I, like others on this review panel, repeatedly checked the order status. I called their customer service and I also got the message that the mailbox was full, try later. I reviewed the comments about this company and realize that I, too, have become another victim of this website!

This is a Total Scam and banks cannot trace anything back to the website! BEWARE!!!!!

Site Is Not Secure

CONNECTICUT -- I ordered something from the Cozy Pineapple over two weeks ago and the item never came. I repeatedly checked the order status and when I tried to cancel the order no one answered their customer service (mailbox full, try later). I then found this website with all the helpful reviews and decided to cancel my card today! They do not have a secure website where transactions are sent through a secure server so basically when you make a purchase from them you actually give THEM your credit card information and they can use it whenever they want. This is a Total Scam!

Glad to hear you cancelled your card! There have been a lot of similar complaints directed at the Cozy Pineapple. There is a national fraud info center website that you can lodge a complaint with and it will be looked into: http://www.fraud.org/

Totally unresponsive -- do not shop here

GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT -- Placed an order on 6/29/11. On 7/2 requested status and were advised, "I have messaged our warehouse for a tracking number. As soon as I receive it I will forward it to you. Please be aware that you should not see a charge on your credit card until we ship your purchase. Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime. Thanks for your business, we really appreciate it." That was the last I ever heard from them.

After nearly three weeks of their failure to respond to my phone messages (they never answered the phone and even on late Sunday evening their response was always the same -- we are on the phone helping another customer...) and repeated emails, I sent a request to CANCEL. Not once but three separate times to three separate email addresses, continued phone messages and finally a certified letter.

It was only after a final urgent plea for the common courtesy of a response to my cancellation request that I finally received a confirmation, which interestingly ended with their rote, "Please let us know if you have any other questions, and thanks again for your business, we really appreciate it.."

This is a company well worth avoiding.

Very Much a fraudulent company, BEWARE!!!!!

I ordered from this company over two years ago and had no problems. I received the product and payment was cleared in my bank. Now two years later, they are making charges to my bank account. I have not visited this website since I ordered two years ago from them. Apparently they keep your bank card info on file. Thankfully my bank will investigate and hopefully this company will be prosecuted. They will not answer the phone, just get a recording that they are busy with other customers.

There are a handful of complaints, scattered across several years, of the same problem when attempting to contact customer service.

This, is conjunction with this more serious problem of an unathorized charge, would kepp me from using this company.

The thing I don't understand is that there are not more complaints.

Wow, I just looked this place up. Amazing that they are in business, because there's a lot of complaints of fraud. Their BBB rating is an F. Many customers said they were charged and received nothing, and weren't given a refund. Terrible.

Another scam internet business that does not exist for real

PUTNAM, CONNECTICUT -- Wish I had read the reviews for these folks before I placed the order.
2 weeks after placing our order, we have received nothing. Look up the order on their site and it simply says "Order Cancelled". No email, no phone call, nothing.

Their toll-free number is just an answering machine and they never call back.
Incidentally, our credit card number got stolen online the very day after I placed the order with these folks? Coincidence? I don't know, but I'll forward their contact info to my bank to figure it out.

Furthermore, their address is just a mailbox store.

You'd be wise to skip this outfit unless you want to get scammed. Search their name on Google, and you'll all sorts of negative info.

momsey: The simple fact that this crooked "business" (I call it a racket) is allowed to continue ripping off people is evidence that the agencies that are supposed to protect the public aren't worth a warm bucket of horse piss!

My experience is like most of the other reviews. Never got product and they will not respond to phone messages or emails. Horrible company.

Non-existent customer service, ordered item did not arrive

The item did not arrive and neither email nor phone voice message were returned.
Customer service was non-existent except for one automated email confirming that the order was placed.
Would not deal with this company/web site again and cannot recommend to anyone.

The Cozy Pineapple Rip Off

I have been trying to get ahold of these people for weeks! Good prices but they just don't want to pay anybody to answer the phone! Recording,,recording recording. Sick of it! I`M going somewhere else. Charging shipping anyways, I can get this item to ship free some where else!! Dont shop here,... you are right! Sucks BIG TIME! POOR SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Espresso Machine & Frothing Pitcher

My husband & I ordered an espresso machine which arrived within a week. The frothing pitcher was on back order (from the company....not the cozy pineapple) & we canceled that order after several months. We found the customer service to be excellent, e-mails were answered within a day & the staff was courteous.

We have no complaints about this company!

With all the complaints, its nice to see at least one satisfied customer. Maybe the Cozy Pineapple is getting back on track.

They are most definitely NOT "getting back on track." Read other websites...they are a fraud and have just earned an F rating from the BBB. BEWARE!

Items Did Not Ship and Customer Service Does Not Respond

I ordered wine glasses from this company and was told they would arrive in 8-10 days. They never arrived and no one in customer service ever responded to my repeated emails or telephone calls. I would not recommend buying from The Cozy Pineapple.
