Items Did Not Ship and Customer Service Does Not Respond
Posted by on
I ordered wine glasses from this company and was told they would arrive in 8-10 days. They never arrived and no one in customer service ever responded to my repeated emails or telephone calls. I would not recommend buying from The Cozy Pineapple.

This is not the first complaint about this company. I would file a charge back with my credit card.

GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT -- I ordered three items on December 14th and paid an outrageous $45 for second day air shipping. I have yet to see my items. Their phone number is always answered by a machine. Repeated and emails have gone unanswered. Customer service is non-existent. Not only can I no longer get the limited edition item I wanted, but this unresponsive company has my credit card number.

Did they send you a confirmation with a tracking number? I guess if you don't get it within the next week or so, file a dispute with your card company. There are tons of complaints about this outfit on this site.

GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT -- I ordered silverware on Oct. 25 and they billed my card immediately. I have not received the silverware as of Nov. 17. They do not answer their phone or emails, however they continue to email me new advertising.

You're not ever going to see your order or your money again. Dispute the charge with your credit card company.
Disaster Worker on 11/17/2009:
Kitten is correct. Do a search on this website about Cozy, and you'll find no one has ever received anything. Also, file a BBB complaint. These people need to be shut down.

This seems like a scam company but people keep using it. Even their website doesn't look like a professional business website.
goduke on 11/17/2009:
I'd be notifying some of the major vendors on the website as well. I doubt they want their name associated with this kind of nonsense, and their lawyers will shut down the site faster than you can spit.
MSCANTBEWRONG on 11/17/2009:
Kudos to all. Excellent advice.

I don't know how CP stays in business, they seem to rip people off like crazy.

I have the funny feeling this site may be operated overseas and the "company" is actually a back room.

I am quite sure that Lenox will shut their site down because you told them to. Watch your mailbox, as I am expecting you will receive your order any day now. Remember, this is the Thanksgiving/Christmas rush period, and the normal 4-6 week delivery time will expand to two months or more, unless special offers have been made and taken advantage of. Of course, a person of your obvious importance should never have to wait for a delivery. Lenox has a wonderful reputation, one which I am sure you cannot match.

I'm not sure what connection Lenox has with this company but for what it's worth, I have ordered many things from Lenox over the years and have had not one problem... they are a very reputable company..
Jilly123 on 04/28/2010:
I too have contacted Lenox regarding this fraudulent company. I hope that others will as well! As for "Starlord's" comment about it being the November/December holiday rush period...I have never waiting two months for an online order!!! I don't know what sites you are doing business with (perhaps The Cozy Pineapple???) but even during the holidays packages arrive within 2 weeks...that is, packages from reputable companies.Hmmmmm...

I too have had problems with Lenox. Which started recently. I have found that they are anti-military ass well as rude.

No Product, No Response

GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT -- Ordered dinnerware on 10/28/09. Parital payment processed on my debit card 11/2/09. Product not received, no update on shipping status or tracking, no response to emails, and phone just states that mailbox is full. Horrible experience. Under no circumstance should anyone order from this company!

From what I've seen of the complaints about this company; you'll probably never see the product nor get a refund from them. I'd suggest disputing the charge with your bank and whatever else you owe; that they might try to take out, put a stop payment on it (if possible).

Charged but no product / no response -- Company unreachable
Posted by on
Ordered product 1st week of September -- charged but never received over $250 worth. Their phone instantly goes to an electronic message that says "full"; we have tried calling over 15 times and various times, on various days. I've sent approximately 10 emails and they have not replied.

AFTER I purchased and did not receive product, but was charge -- I looked up other reviews and there are many saying this happened to them. I wanted to add mine so it might help someone else avoid losing money to them.

The Cozy Pineapple Is An Internet Scam!
Posted by on
GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT -- I ordered Royal Doulton China from this seemingly very high end online store. I noticed my debit card had been charged. Received a response from the company saying my order was cancelled. The phone number given on the site is inoperable. Never spoke with a person. No response to my emails. My money was stolen that easily. I found out this company has stolen from countless others also.

Why is the site still on the internet? I doubt the company is actually located in Greenwich CT.

Also scammed
Posted by on
GREENWICH, CT -- I had a very similar experience to the other person who posted about this company. I was in contact with customer service about a set of sterling silver flatware, they were responsive and said they would place a rush on the order. Now no one will respond to e-mails, the mailbox will not take any messages and the product never shipped. I am cancelling my credit card.

I ordered a piece of glassware and all I got was an empty box with a convenient tracking number.

When I call, I can never get though. I think I've been ripped off!!

If you paid with a credit card, dispute the charge with your credit card company.

If you paid with a debit card, file a charge-back.

I ordered a doll from Speigel I never got. It took one phone call to my CC company and about a month and a half, but I was refunded. I would dispute the charge.
