NEW YORK -- Worst experience ever don't ever fly delta!!!

Upon arrival I had an hour to spare. I got something to eat and proceeded to go to the gate they told me to go to. Once I arrived I was then taken from that gate to a different gate. When I arrived at the last gate they where in the process of closing the door. Even though I was only 2 minutes late and not due to my mistake because they had given me the wrong gate to go to in the first place. I begged to be let on the plane and she smiled in my face and told me to bad stating that she could not open the door (when I first arrived and asked to be let on they had not been locked yet). She then proceeded to tell me that she would be charging me $300.00 for my daughter and I to take the next flight. When I asked for a manager the man standing next to her told me he was it. After stating I would be social networking what happened they then got the real manager. Who was as helpless as the first guy who had lied about being the manager!! I understand if it was my mistake and that is why I missed my flight but it was not!! I was there with over an hour to spare but given misinformation!! Then after all of this they where mean and rude. They have lost a customer for life and anyone who reads this picks a different airline!!

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I've done an extensive search on travel plans. I have 27,000 miles accrued on my frequent flier miles. The site indicated that the scope of possible flights included up to the northern sphere of South America: A good deal, right! Nope. There are a few domestic flight available. Most domestic flights that I checked require many more miles.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I fly back and forth between New York City and San Juan, PR and, by and large, I find the service provided by the flight attendants on Delta to be above average. Every so often, though I meet or two who rise to the top and fit into the category of superlative. Such was the case recently when I encountered Renee Chastain-Fink, the purser on my flight to New York. Polite, anticipatory, caring - the adjectives abound when I reflect on her level of service; she turned a routine flight into a special experience and I hope Delta appreciates her as much as I did.

BRISBANE -- I booked in January 2013 on a flight leaving LAX at 10:30 am 26 April 2013. When I asked my travel agent for a itinerary the flight was cancelled. I am now booked to fly from LAX to New Orleans via Memphis at 1 pm. After hearing all the bad reports I won't be flying Delta anytime soon. Tried to phone Sydney Australia as to why they took my money and won't refund me and why it was cancelled but operator cut me off three times.

First, Delta butchered our tickets - no seat assignments and a missing a leg of our flight for one within our traveling party. Get to the desk & we didn't have the boarding pass printed as their errors with our flights - but then we can't make the flight at all because we didn't check in prior. Ridiculous & arbitrary. Think you can get help from a manager - complete waste of time. Not happy. Again.
FLIGHT FROM DFW TO TRI -- On a recent round trip I checked 1 piece of luggage which arrived at my destination in good shape. However when I returned home on a Friday evening and completed unpacking Sunday I realized the entire frame of my luggage was broken, rendering it useless! I have no recourse since I failed to unpack & report within their allotted 24 hour time frame - (forgive me for falling ill). So if you play the odds & pay Delta to check luggage, after arriving at your destination... your top priority is unpack & check the condition of your luggage as soon as possible!! It's the only way you'll be compensated if anything is amiss. (unless then they require the orig. bill of sale?) For three days I tried to find my bags through the Delta system. No luck and no help from Baggage Services or the Diamond Medallion help desk.
I am a Diamond Medallion (highest level of frequent flier) and a 'Million-Miler.' My complaint concerns the lack of 'ownership' about my issue by both departments of Delta and an unwillingness to truly help (instead, Baggage Services told me to wait until I arrived in Ghana to file a form and Diamond help desk told me their services were really about reservations...which is not what the literature states...).
If a Diamond Medallion can't receive true customer service, then what happens to the occasional flier who has no 'status' with Delta?
Even though I receive fewer miles, I generally try to travel on one of Delta's partner airlines because I receive more attention, better seats and better service.
