If diversified Consultants Inc. has contacted you, Dish has ruined your credit report and send it to collections. However in collections they have their own credit reporting using Dish Network software. For more info contact me at 502-239-7820. I might be able to get you outOf collections and get your credit report back to par. I know all of their procedures, settlements, And what they can and cannot tell you because they will be on you a lot more money than what they were collecting. You're asking yourself what am I doing this because I was sleeping the supervisors ex and was discriminated against and wrongfully terminated!

CONWAY, PENNSYLVANIA -- I had dish come and install their services and they installed a wireless remote unit as a wired unit. Please see the pictures of their quality workmanship. They ruined my siding as it is not manufactured anymore and I had an estimate of $8,000 to fix it. Did Dish offer to help... NOPE! They sent someone to my house and he said "no damage"!

Dish is not cheap and they put you in the middle of their little battles with the networks. The installer told me that the DVR will not record commercials while using PrimeTime to get back at the big networks for not allowing them to advertise. I still don't see any other companies advertising on the Dish channel. Then they wonder why they can't get good deals from the networks? Go ahead call customer service and complain, when you get sick of the 26 IQ you will understand.

I called Dish Network to ask if there was a streaming app and if there was a specific channel on that app. I spoke with Saul 7/15/17 starting around 1:29 pm Eastern Time and the called ended at 1:31 pm Eastern Time. He started out pleasant. But when I asked about a streaming app, it sounded like he was chewing in my ear! Then he tells me that the best option for me is the $69.99 package but it's not on the package. I let him know, I can't get Dish where I live. His response was, "What do you want me to do?" My answer was, "I just called to ask about a streaming app." I then asked for his name because I almost forgot it and he hung up the line! That was so unprofessional!!

SEABROOK, GEORGIA -- Dish cost continued to increase in a short period of time. Couldn't get bundle with TV, Internet, and phone. Took money from my bank account without my authorization. Requires customers to disassemble outside dish to return parts. Could be difficult for many people forcing additional cost to customer.

COLORADO -- After seeing numerous ads and checking out their website, I decided to give Dish Network a call about starting new service. The Sales Rep was very pleasant and helpful, at least he was at first. I confirmed all the advertised information with him. This included discounts and a price lock for the first two years, free HBO for a year, and a free Hopper 3 (their latest DVR). I had read good things about this DVR and it was the main reason I decided to try Dish.

The Sales guy told me that the free upgrade to the Hopper 3 would depend on my credit score (something that must have been in very small print in their ads). He asked me if I had a good credit. I told him yes, the last time I checked (3 or 4 months prior), my score was 812. “Oh then getting you the free upgrade to our Hopper 3 should be no problem, but I will have to run a credit inquiry to confirm,” he said.

A few minutes later he ran my credit and told me that I did not qualify for the free DVR upgrade. There would be a $50 charge if I wanted the Hopper 3. Otherwise, I could get one of their older DVR models at no charge. I questioned him, “you said I would get the free upgrade if I had good credit”.

This was the point in our conversation when his pleasant and helpful tone changed. “NO, I didn't tell you that Sir. I told you I would have to run your credit first. Your score must not have been high enough.” “What did your inquiry say my score was,” I asked. He told me that he could not see my score. His system only tells him If I qualify or not. I asked him what score was needed to qualify, but he did not have an answer. After debating the issue for several more minutes, I told him to just forget it.

Two days later, I checked my credit score and it was 820. I am no credit expert, but I believe that is a good score. My takeaway is that this is just a deceptive practice Dish uses to make an extra $50 bucks off of you. They say you have to have good credit, yet they will not tell you what score is good enough. They don't want to give you a number because if they did, you could call them on their little scam.

I just read that Dish Network was recently fined $280 million for violating some federal telemarketing law. It had nothing to do with the deceptive DVR upgrade issue that I experienced, but it still speaks volumes about what kind of company they are. I was glad to see that justice was served, indirectly.

TAFT, CALIFORNIA -- Having become tired of my provider arbitrarily raising my rates every time they felt like it I responded to a Dish special offer i.e. 2 year locked in contract. I had been considering going to an alternate type of service but decided to see what dish was offering. Everything sounded good and I decided to sign up. I was told I would have a free premium package channel trial for 3 mos. I tried to decline as I have had serious difficulties with other providers and free trials. Namely adding them to your line up and then requiring a cancellation or you will be billed for them.

Upon trying to cancel them you are stiff armed and stonewalled hoping you will just keep them and pay the difference at the end of the trial period. Dish (Infinity) assured me this would not happen and if I did not request to keep the package. It would merely lapse at the end of the trial period. LIE!!! Just got my bill alert I set for the due date and my bill had gone up 71%!!! UNETHICAL in the extreme. Do not use Dish!!! Spent most of a morning on hold or being cut off trying to rectify the situation.

As usual I was informed it was my fault for not canceling the preview in time and would receive a partial credit next month. Aside from contacting a legal consultant about my contract options I strongly caution anyone against using such an unethical company unless you get everything in writing.

DENVER, COLORADO -- Today is May 16th and I live in Denver, CO and I called Dish with an issue of not being able to get a picture on one of my TVs. I talked with a lady named Camille. She was courteous, knowledgeable and tried several different things to final get the problem solved. I was so pleased that I had her check another issue that we had the previous day and was told it was a TV issue and not a satellite issue and I should call the TV manufacturer. I explained the problem and within minutes she walked me through a diagnostic and solved the problem. DISH needs more techs like this one.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- When I moved into my new house the technician made a mess with wires all over my house, too many holes that he didn't use, bolts everywhere. The wires have fallen in front of my garage because the genius they sent out here bolted them to stucco. They have fallen out and I cannot get into my garage. They actually want to charge me to fix their mess! He also did not vacuum up his mess from all the holes he left. He never hooked up my second DVR that I have been charged for all these months! They offered my a 30 dollar reduction on my bill!

PERTH AMBOY, NEW JERSEY -- I had Dish Network installed on Feb. 3, 2017, & it's been nothing but a headache ever since. Let me first explain that I was lead to believe that this was a "bundle deal" with Verizon since AT&T wasn't available in my area. My bill for March was $164 just from Verizon for 75mbps, not including the $71 for Dish. So when I call up Verizon to dispute my bill, they told me that they don't know anything about a bundle deal & they don't partner with Dish Network. So now I'm confused because I was told by Dish that I have a bundle, & that I would be receiving 2 bills, one from Dish & one from Verizon but the price would be reflected between the two bills.

I was also told this would be better for me because it would keep down the taxes & fees on both. Well, when I tried to correct the issue, Dish informed me that they couldn't even help me because it is subcontracted through a third party, Infinity Sales Group. I was never informed of this, & the phone number I called was for Dish Network. They checked their computer & I was never signed up for a "bundle", & there was nothing they could do, I had to call Infinity Sales Group. This service has been a headache from the day it was installed, & on top of everything, the cable goes out during rain, snow, clouds, or even a steady breeze.

I called 2 weeks after the install to cancel but found out there are severe penalties for early termination. On top of it all, I was promised a $100 gift card within 6-8 weeks, it's been 3 months & still no card or solution. I wish I would have read these reviews first because this service sucks!! And they don't care, all they care about is you paying your overpriced bill.

I told their representative that I would tell anybody & everybody who would listen, DO NOT DEAL WITH DISH!! Their customer service is horrendous, & they lie (or tell half truths) to get you signed up, then when you realize how horrible it is, it's already too late. Already have been overcharged the last 3 months, but they want me to pay an early termination fee, for their mistakes & terrible service lol NOT!!!
