CONNECTICUT -- I am shocked to see negative feedback about Dollarwise Oil. I have been using them for YEARS and have never once had a problem. They always come on the date promised (which has never been more than 2 business days out) and their customer service has always been great. Furthermore, they often leave or mail a 5- or 10-cent coupon when they deliver. Their prices are always the cheapest per gallon as well.
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE -- No existent delivery. Called for supposed next day / same day service. Called on Sat and asked if I could wait until Tues. I agreed. Called Tues after several hours and told delivery was on truck and I would get the fuel oil I had paid for next. Two hrs later no oil. My tank is now on empty. Told to go to gas station and get 5 gals oil. What a piss poor company. I was warned by others not to use these people. Shame I didn't listen. Poor service. Liars. Crooks.
SHELTON, CONNECTICUT -- Got all the way through the process and saw a flag on the site stating that they need to complete an inspection because I'm a new customer. I was not a new customer and I was not available. So then I try to call to explain and they do not pick up after 30Min!!!
PORTLAND, CONNECTICUT -- Ordering oil with DollarWise has never been a problem. They are a great company to deal with. Always a great price and delivered on time as promised. Enjoyed talking with the sales staff. Highly recommend DollarWise.
CHESTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA -- We've never had anything but great service from Dollarwise. I had a problem with their website last year but customer service was always helpful. This company provides a good and timely delivery of heating oil at a fair price.
MASSACHUSETTS -- This past winter I needed to have oil delivered to my home which is on the market. I placed an internet order for the next day. I called the company because there was something on the web page about someone needing to be there for first time delivery. This was impossible, so I spoke to a representative and cancelled the order. My credit card was never charged.
Fast forward to a month later. They called and said "well we know you cancelled the order but oil was delivered anyway on Feb 12." (The original order was supposed to be delivered the 7th before the big blizzard). Anyway they went against their own policy and delivered when nobody was there to let them in, like I said the house is vacant. I had a different company deliver oil on the 11th (I have the order slip). DollarWise delivered 75 gallons because "That's all the tank would take" and are looking for over $300.
They acknowledged I had cancelled the order. What I don't understand is why they would go against policy, deliver oil 6 days after it was cancelled and 5 days later than the original agreed delivery day. And NO there is no way anyone was there to let the man in to "inspect" the oil tank to make sure it was safe. We are all 2 hours away from the home.
