Rude management

ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA -- Ordered delivery last night, March 5th 2013, and when called to see if I could actually just remove one of my items, manager had stated I couldn't ad that they were closed now, and when I said I would no longer purchase then, management stated, and I quote.."okay, thanks for wasting my time", and he hung up. So rude, that's who you have running your store?

Terrible Smelling Pizza
Posted by on
Rating: 1/51
SOUTH CAROLINA -- I ordered a pizza, had it delivered..once I opened the box, it smelled all the way like a dog. It smelled just like who ever made the pizza, played with a dog or even had a dog in their place of business....it smelled so horrible, I couldn't even eat it...a waste of hard earned money...I may as well flushed it down the toilet.

Ew, That sounds pretty gross. I would call dominos customer service call center and tell someone about this.
Alain on 2013-03-03:
Give Domino's corporate office (30 frank Lloyd Wright Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48106) a call at [734] 930-3030 and let them know they have a problem at this franchise location.
Laurella on 2013-03-03:
I wonder if the pizza box had gotten wet at some point and then air dried. Wet cardboard has a nasty smell to it.
trmn8r on 2013-03-03:
Whatever you do, do NOT flush it down the toilet. Don't ask me why not.
Anonymous on 2013-03-03:
Are you sure it wasn't the box? We recently bought a Costco take & bake pizza and the box smelled like wet dog. It wasn't the pizza, it was the box.
Cwazychicken on 2013-03-03:
Wet card board does smell nasty! Especially if its got mildew......like wet clothes smell when not dried. Either way I'd complain to them.
madconsumer on 2013-03-04:
what toppings were on the pizza?
tyrn.tylr on 2013-03-04:
Only toppings were pepperoni and sausage

Open Late, but Not Taking orders...

ST JOSEPH, MICHIGAN -- Why be open until 12am and answer the phone if you won't satisfy an 11:40pm pick up order???

Were you trying to place the order at 11:40 or picking it up at 11:40? If you were just placing the order, there would be no way they would have it ready and picked up in 20 minutes. I'm sure they have a deadline time for taking and picking up orders so they can close by 12am. Though if you wanted to pick it up at 11:40, they should have taken the order...they probably don't want to be stuck with pizzas at the end of the shift that people don't pick up. Either way, they should have a time posted/given over the phone stating phone orders must be made by a specific time and pick up orders have to be picked up by a specific time.

Bad Service and Missing Food!
Posted by on
Rating: 1/51
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA -- My order had food missing, instead of fixing the problem they said they credited the food to that I already paid for to my phone number, when I called just two days later they refused to give me the food, but the worst part besides waiting on hold for over 30 minutes was the store employees talking about dropping food, the customers as well as sex and doing drugs! I was so shocked by this experience that I will NEVER order from Dominos again!

Go to http://www.dominoes.com and click on 'customer service' at the bottom of the page. You can then send Dominoe's a report about the problems at this franchise location.

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -- I called Dominos to place an order and when my order arrives there is something always missing. It has come to the point that they won't deliver to me anymore. I have credit at that location and I can't use it. The managers told me over the phone that he will not be allow anyone to deliver to my home. I am so upset because I spend money eith them but you no longer want me as a customer. I have told my family not to order from Dominos because of my situation. I hope something can be done.

I've nothing but great luck with Dominos since they started the reinvention process. One time the wings were just cold and I mentioned it on the "tracker" (where you order online), and 10 minutes later the driver showed up with a new hot order of wings. I was impressed.

They seem to be bending over backwards for our business in Indiana, so I'm wondering if the business philosophy in MD is different?

Service and Bread Sticks

Rating: 2/51
SELMA, TEXAS -- The person I spoke to when ordering was rude. Put me on hold twice once in the middle of my order. Talked so fast I could not understand her. She also acted output when I asked her to repeat a special I asked about. I also had cheesy bread and thought it would be better than before. The dough seemed a little raw and there was hardly any cheese. I love Dominos but I would prefer better service and better bread.

Dominos. If you want to make a "better" pizza. Try putting a few more toppings on them. I bought "1" pizza for $17 and there was hardly any toppings on it. It seems like the more toppings a person orders the fewer you put on it. That's what makes a pizza & customers happy.

That's right! More toppings make a happy customer. Contact them, they want your feedback.

I saw a new ad on TV where the units are getting actual feedback numbers and comments now. They can see real-time reports from their customers.
ok4now on 2011-07-30:
I agree. Dominos just opened a store near me and they have been celebrating their "Grand Opening" now for 3 months. While their menu prices are cheap they offer nothing for your money. Went and ordered in the store. They pre-measure everything. The final result is a pizza with barely any toppings. This is a scam & ripoff. I refuse to return. They don't have a clue on how to make a good pizza.
Skye on 2011-07-30:
Only pizza worth eating, if you have access to it, is New York Pizza.

When pizza folds, it's pizza.
saj80 on 2011-07-30:
Sounds like a Papa John's pizza, all crust and sauce, no other ingredients.

Crunch Cakes are the bomb diggity
Posted by on
BENNINGTON, VERMONT -- I just ordered some Domino's and decided to tack on a 3.99 box of 2 Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes. I had no idea what it was, but the boyfriend had been losing his mind ever since he saw the commercial, so I decided to give it a go.

These are awesome! One is just enough. The whole thing kind of has the texture of a brownie "edge" - super chewy and rich. On the inside is a generous amount of molten fudge - probably the same stuff used in hot fudge sundaes. They're dusted with powdered sugar and very, very sweet.

Overall - very, very good quantity and price. Nice addition to your Friday night carb-coma.

Those sound really good. I like the part about the boyfriend losing his mind, ever since he saw the commercial.

Good review!

Never heard of them, but I guess I'll give them a try. Sounds like you should get some credit for marketing them on M3C.....

nothing I would like, but they sound good for people who love chocolate!

great review.

very helpful.
Ytropious on 2009-09-12:
I got one free with my pasta bowl (also delicious btw). My only complaint was it was a little too small compared to a real chocolate lava cake single from say Omaha Steaks. I also wouldn't pay 2 dollars for one, but still they're tasty.

Sounds awesome! Can I have some now?
