CALIFORNIA -- 11/16/12 Update: DH emailed me (after seeing my review here) and said they had sent me an earlier email requesting info from me but they have been unable to provide me with a copy of that email yet. They also said this was the ONLY complaint they have had about their leather, so if you have had a similar problem with their leather, please let me know!
Please see my original complaint: While this is an absolutely beautiful collection, the leather used on the headboard and footboard is HORRIBLE! It scratches very, very easily and the scratches are nearly impossible to remove. When I questioned this and asked how to repair the scratch marks, Drexal Heritage referred me to another company who sold leather care products. Nearly $50 later, the scratches were as evident as before the leather 'treatment' was applied. Since then I have emailed Drexal Heritage several times to ask for further help on removing the scratches and also asking if they have had other complaints about the quality of the leather on their higher-end beds like this one. Drexal Heritage has not responded back to these inquires, leading me to believe they are well aware of the problem and are just hoping I will give up and drop the matter. Bottom line here is I am extremely disappointed in the poor quality of their high-end furniture and even more disappointed in the total lack of customer service.
