Misleading Advertising, Hard To Reach
Posted by Bethbuys on 09/12/2007
FLORIDA -- My dad had colon cancer, so I had this interest. I ordered the free trial, not getting that it is a 15 day supply, and it is free for 14 days. I can count, but would have missed that. However, I am not sure if I received my trial or not. But I did get my first auto-ship. I had decided not to use it, for other health reasons, and tried to reach the company. The website will let you cancel your auto-ship, but not talk to anyone. There is no address to contact them nor to send the product back on their website.

I called their number, and cleaned my house while I waited. I got cut off twice, and then spoke to a person, who said I was wrong, which I admitted I probably was. I asked if I could have a refund if I sent the unopened colonex back, and she said yes, after much grousing. She agreed to send an email to that effect, and did.

However, in cleaning, I had thrown away the original envelope. They are not made to be used again. I have yet to find their address. It is not on the bottle, nor on the website. Today, more than a month later, I finally got through again, to a customer service representative, and he said he did not have the address. He advised me to write ti the email address again.

I am a bit slow dealing with this as I have a business and am helping with my daughter's wedding. But today I will again write the website.

Btw, they have a new greeting, it says 'We are no longer giving the free trial....'

So, I wonder how this will go, and if I will get my money back....more later :)

Well apparently the Colonex700.com web site is no more - to avoid confusion with some other Colon Blow product, they are changing their web site and name to Colon700.com.

Deceit In Advertisement

PENSACOLA, FLORIDA -- I bought the sample to try and like some others, I have had a charge to my account without asking if I wanted to continue to take the product. Automatic deduction from an account is not legal without the customers consent. It can be contested through your bank/credit card and maybe, just maybe you may get a credit to your account.

After reading other review, I am a little worried that this may not stop. I don't know if this was really endorse by Oprah or Dr. Oz or not. Whatever it only gave me gas!

When are you people going to learn to read the small print? The disclaimer they run on the screen, if you care to check it out, informs you that the free trial is contingent upon signing up for a subscription to their regular delivery program and that they will withdraw funds from your account. Read before you start belly-aching.

What A Scam
Posted by Susan257 on 12/19/2008
I ordered the 15 day free trial, I received it is about 3 weeks, a week later, I received two more bottles a charge of $88.95 because I did not cancel the automatic order during the trial period.

When I called I was informed that the trial period begins the day you order, not when you actually get the product.

Ex-Lax would have been cheaper.

When are people gonna learn? Fleet enema is cheaper and safer, if you feel you need a laxative. That is all these colon cleansers are is strong laxatives. Sounds like hte same people who do that silly Enzyte. Same programs. A scam.

Return of my money
Posted by Maphisotis on 08/29/2007
GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA -- I tried their product for the 14 days that they advertised for free and it did nothing for me! I sent them a email telling them not to send any more and not to charge my account any more money. Two days later I get a package in the mail with a one month supply of their product with a charge of $78.98 on my charge card. If this is how they do business folks, beware!!!! I called the company and was given the run around.

I was referred to another number to try and get my money back. What a joke. Looks like its the "BBB" and my credit card company to try and resolve it.

Guess what, nothing you buy off an infommercial-type advertising campaign is going to do anything for you. Save your money, and buy lots of fresh fruit, instead.
