SHAMOKIN, PENNSYLVANIA -- I was in the drive on 2.15.12 At the Dunkin' donuts at 6:35 am in Shamokin PA, when the delivery truck was trying back into the back of the store. The truck driver kept blowing his air horn at that time of the morning and there are homes next to the store. He kept blowing and blowing the horn. When the truck driver's helper got out he started yelling at customers to move their ** cars that they were backing to unload. The helper even made some man so upset he jumped out and yelled back at him. The helper told him to get back into his car before he gets punched out. I will never go back. It was so sad to see this.

Coupon Rejection

GARDEN CITY SOUTH, NEW YORK -- I purchased a Long Island 2012 Coupon book in order to support a fundraiser. I tried to use this coupon at my local Dunkin' Donuts store # 342498 and I was told by the manager he could not accept the coupon. I told him where I got the coupon from and how it states on the coupon "Valid at all Nassau and Suffolk County Locations." He still refused to accept the coupon and told me he would have to look into it. I bought the donuts anyway because I was bringing them for Thanksgiving. Can you please look into this and inform me of the outcome. Thank you for your attention with this matter.

Want Your Money Not Your Business
By -

I go to Dunkin Donuts at Ogilvie almost every day, I spend only about 4.00 there for coffee and a bagel and donut, but each time the experience gets worse and today I had it. I was the second person in line, I ordered and of course they want the money before they even start to serve you. The cashier threw the muffin in a bag and tossed it to me at the counter.

Then I waited for my coffee and waited. By this time they served 4 people and they got their coffee so when I asked about mine he said they are getting it (this is not the first time I have had to wait on the coffee while others are getting served). Finally I got my coffee and I told him "I won't be back" and he says "Whatever". Whatever, well here is whatever - I will keep writing telling my story and I will tell people at work about it and they will tell others and guess what - you lose Mr.

Great Services, Clean Business, Great Staff

NJ, NEW JERSEY -- I'm mind blown at some of these horrible reviews about Dunkin Donuts the food, the staff, and stores. I recently just started working at DD, and I've got to say the location I'm currently at is very clean and helpful. DD has the policy customer is always right. If we screw up an order or if the customer has a complaint we automatically change the order. The staff manager/shift leader/employees/General Manager are very nice informative and helpful.

I'm a teenager working here. I'm very well mannered. I greet the customers very well, give them compliments, and our staffs priority is to keep the customer happy. We have some rude customers sometimes but we never talk back, everyone that is hired here is very well mannered and is very helpful.

I'm amazed at some of these horrible reviews people are leaving. If you're ever near North Jersey, specifically Jersey City and surrounding areas there are always some nice staff working who try their best. The store I'm currently working at is very busy in the mornings as it's on a large highway/road. Almost every customer is happy after they get their order.

Some of the people writing reviews also have to understand that some people might be new to the job and might screw up here or there. We all make mistakes. Almost the whole staff is paid 7.25 an hour (legal minimum wage in state of NJ) unless a shift leader/manager/gm and we try our best to make customers happy. If you're ever near a Dunkin Donuts in North Jersey wherever you're at you won't be disappointed.

Tasty Iced Latte
By -

NEW YORK -- I went out yesterday to go hiking but I wanted to break a 20 so I could give proper change at the park entrance. So, I hit the DD that's on my way there. It's very rare for me to go through a drive through – first time in a few years really (usually it's someone else's choice not mine). But this time I just didn't feel like getting out of the car. When I got there, I paused to read the menu before pulling up and picked out a mocha latte. I've never had one there but cold sweet coffee with chocolate sounded nice – I had a small headache blossoming and this could help. Very tasty drink. =)

Actually this location has always been pretty good. I don't go there a lot but I've found it's nice to have a nice drink that I can buy to drink after I'm done hiking. =) Plus I've noticed the employees there the last few times I've gone have been very polite and kind. Not that they weren't beforehand... it's just that I've really noticed it more lately.

Getting Ripped Off

WARMINSTER -- So if you decide to go to Dunkin Donuts in Warminster, PA or in the surrounding area, you might want to be very careful what you order and what the prices are, if you order a wrap that is a buck they will say OK bagel and charge you for it and give you the wrap, they make so much money a day ripping people off. It has happen several times, getting on to the food the muffins are stale, if I'm paying money I want fresh food not stuff from the day before! I go there now and get coffee and take single dollar bills so I know they don't play me for a fool, please be careful these Indian's are scam artists and are robbing people blind!

Horrible Customer Service and Rude Employees/Managers
By -

QUEEN CREEK, ARIZONA -- I went into the store on Rittenhouse and Ocotillo this morning and could not believe how rude the girl was that was at the drive-thru window! I have never been treated so poorly and quite frankly will take my business elsewhere. I had a coupon for a free medium iced coffee and had ordered a latte. She very rudely explained that a latte did not count... I have used this coupon before at a different location and they honored it for a latte so I just assumed that iced coffee meant any iced coffee drink.

She could have explained it in a nicer way to me and I would have been completely fine with it, no big deal, but she was quite possibly the rudest girl I have ever come across. Coming from a Teacher that says a lot. I have never written a complaint letter in my life...I can handle a lot. To top it all off when I called the store to talk to the manager he very rudely told me he did not have time to talk... WOW, I wonder why his employees are completely incapable of any customer service skills??!! I am just appalled.

I think Dunkin Donuts needs to clean house and hire some people who know what customer service means and perhaps who care about their job! If not, a great deal of business is going to be lost with their diminishing reputation and rude employees. No wonder people spend the extra dollar or two and go to Starbucks! That is where I will be headed next time!!!

Quite Angry

MIAMI, FLORIDA -- I am a regular customer at the DD located on 5128 Biscayne Blvd here in Miami Florida. The customer service is top notch -- that's not where my complaint lies. It comes from the products being non-existent and the air conditioning CONSTANTLY being on the fritz. What I mean by the products is mainly the ice cream. Favorite flavors disappear for more than two weeks and it's not fair for those of us that frequent the store more than four times a week.

We've been favored with warm weather, however after five o'clock in the evening the sun's going down -- right in this DD location! It's so hot that you have to attempt to compute outside but then again, no outlets for electricity are out there, so you're quite aspirated with the owner. Even in the store the outlets are oddly placed -- way in the ceiling over ten feet to reach. No step stools to assist you. I hope this review is found to be helpful to whomever's taking the time to read it.

Poor customer service

PHIALDELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I went to get a cup of tea at the Dunkin Donuts at the suburban station. I was in line but the ladies working at the register did not acknowledge my presence. They totally ignored me and went about chatting behind the counter. Just as I was about to leave, a male customer walked over to the line and they quickly acknowledged him. They didn't apologize to me and proceeded to go about their business. I left the Dunkin Donuts feeling as if I was being discriminated against. I called the store manager later on after the incident had occurred and he apologized on their behalf.

Always wrong... always

I have ordered this drink at SEVEN different DD's in the northeast (PA, DE, NY, MD) and not once has it been good. It's not even been made right. I'm all for going a cheaper route and I welcome competition from Starbucks, but I've received water with shots in it, iced coffee with no milk, and today's, milk with a shot. All larges mind you.

Starbucks is expensive, but they do it right. Hands down. Your order by trained people (feel free to debate that, but it is extensive training) and it's usually right if at least close. I will not be purchasing this drink or anything besides chocolate milk from Dunkin Donuts from now on.

Bottom Line: If you don't understand English whatsoever, if you've never been trained to make a drink, if you hate your job please stop working in customer service, there are other types of work where you don't interact with people who expect at least a minimum level of decent service.
