RACINE, WISCONSIN -- This business practices deceptive trade, i.e. false advertising about product availability. Their website lures customers in with a banner that claims "Real Time Availability", IN STOCK, QUICK SHIP, "Orders before 3:00pm CST Mon-Fri usually ship the same business day." Even their "Restrictions Apply" page explicitly states customers should "visit the detail page of the product you are interested in to view Real-Time Availability Status." Their real time availability is bogus. They wait until your credit card payment clears and then orders the item from the manufacturer. It is almost impossible to reach a customer service representative via phone or live chat.
The only way that you will find out that the item you ordered is not in stock is a week or two after you order and you inquire about the status of your order. I finally received an email from their customer service representative and was told that the item I ordered is "made to order" and it will ship at the "end of the week". However, their "Real Time Availability Status" still states that the item is "In Stock". Next time I will check "my3cents.com" before I order anything for a vendor that I have no previous working relationship.
We ordered towel racks, hooks, toilet paper holders from this company in March 2010. We were told to expect delivery in three weeks. Having received nothing in that amount of time, we called and were told there had been "a glitch in the system" and the order hadn't been placed. We would have to wait another three weeks. The order arrived five weeks later. The towel rack was bent and unusable. We called and were told that they would order a replacement which they would get to us in "a week to ten days".
Hearing nothing again after two weeks, we called and were told we would just have to wait longer. Just today, three months after the order was first placed we have finally received the correct, undamaged products. Their customer service phones are poorly staffed; the personnel are rude; the information they provide is at least incorrect and likely just untrue. The pattern of the complaints here is always the same: promise then don't deliver. We will never do business with this company again and urge you not to either.
I purchased some toilet seats at 8:00 this morning. Not five minutes after I placed the order, did I realize I needed to change a color. The customer service was not open nor was the live chat so I e-mailed right away to change the order. 3 hours later, I receive and e-mail that it cannot be changed. When I called customer service at 12:00, I was told it already shipped. Impossible!!!
Even if they could do that, the change order was put in early enough to be made. Laziness is all it amounts to. Never have I dealt with a company so unwilling to help a customer. With all the internet companies selling these products, you would think they would try just a little to keep the customer happy. Needless to say, I won't return toilet seat - it's not worth the money.
MONROE, NEW YORK -- Purchased a kitchen faucet replacement part - did not fit and called customer service for a RA#. Was on hold for 10 minutes but the phone message said I was first in line for service. When I received the instructions to return this item, I had to follow a 10 step guideline.
RACINE, WISCONSIN -- I ordered two medicine cabinets and entered the secret code for the free shipping. All went well until the very end, when suddenly there was a $189 charge for "lift-gate shipping". Fortunately I caught it in time and aborted the order. I have trouble understanding why they needed a lift gate truck for a couple of medicine cabinets that weigh 38 lbs each. I subsequently ordered the same cabinets for $7 more each, but the shipping was $30 for both. And that was UPS, not unreliable, damage-prone Fedex.
RACINE, WISCONSIN -- Requested stock check: received email that part was in stock. Ordered part through website. Checked a couple of days later. Had to call 800 number 5 times to get through. Agent found order but part not shipped. Part was out of stock. No email, no follow through. No nothing. At least credit card was not charged. Customer service? What's that?
Absolutely horrible company. Spent $70 for an item that needed to be returned and their return policy and service is TERRIBLE. They are extremely rude. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. It cost me $27.00 to return the item and they charged a 15% restocking fee. I'm totally out all this money.
Only got part of the item, the button, of a garbage disposal air switch. Over a month now, still not received other part. They said it will take weeks to get the part. They will not refund until they get the button back from me. They failed to notify UPS to pick up button from me. All their fault but they won't refund.
I will never use this company or their products again. Their product are cheap, designed poorly, and use inferior material. eFaucets will lie about everything. They say they care about their customers but only thing they really care about the $$. Once you've paid, you mean NOTHING to them. I installed some of their products and now, when the products have failed and I am facing enormous plumbing bills for replacements, and repairs. BEWARE!
An earlier reviewer had said the relationship ends once they have your money. That is very true. Not even 2 hours after I sent the order, my emails, concerns and questions were ignored. When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me "sorry order is placed I cannot help you now." Worse customer service of all time and not consumer oriented.
