Booked my hotel room and air for myself and husband. Found out they didn't give me my discount (a few days later tried to book same info - found they overcharged me $150 - never receive their ADVERTISED discount for booking flight and hotel together). Called to see if they could fix it. ALL I got was "I am sorry YOU would have needed to call within 24 hours to fix this." SO now it's my problem that I didn't catch them overcharging me. BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON -- Despite repeated attempts with dropped calls, emails that go answered they would not issue a refund (even when they told me how much it would be!) and instead they closed the account! And again, despite repeated warnings that I would sue to get my refund, they ignored it. I work at a hotel front desk, and on TOP of third party reservations not having guaranteed room types (so don't expect that double you thought you booked), but when I had trouble finding a reservation for a guest, I was, actually still am, on hold. REDMOND, WASHINGTON -- I booked a hotel and flight from Oakland to Buffalo, NY for two adults. Due to illness (I Have MS and experienced a flare of the disease), I called 48 hours in advance to cancel. For three hours I was on hold and then cut off three different times. The next day I called again and each time I reached someone I was told I needed to speak with someone else. I finally found someone who could cancel the airline tickets but not the hotel and was referred to someone else who took the information and gave me a "Reference number". I want a refund.Add reply
We had trouble with Expedia from beginning to end. We were part of a Wedding party. Many of us got wrong rooms, some were upgraded for free some were told we could for a fee. They booked the wrong dates which caused us to miss our transportation and flights as we didn't notice the wrong dates on the documents. We had to spend the night in the airport in Cancun, miss a day of our vacation and festivities planned with family and leave abruptly. The customer service was terrible. We were hung up on several times and got the run around. They finally paid for the second set of airline tickets that we had to purchase because of their mistake but would not pay for the transportation or our inconvenience. This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my life. I would never recommend this company.Add reply
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA -- I found a price of $1,282.00 to England and went through the process of buying the ticket. When I completed the transaction the price was $1,326.00. I called twice to find out the problem and both times they explained that the final price is real time and that they cannot help me. Both my phone calls were cutoff before I could get any satisfaction. I have never had this kind of problem with other online reservation sights. Checked on car rental at Budget for Anchorage AK: total $372.44. Then I went to Expedia to get a better rate, but the cheapest rate it had for the exact same period, same size class, etc was $441.
