Forever 21 customer service
AWFUL! I bought my daughter a dress at the Forever 21 in NYC - I need to return it(I live in NC) and have tried numerous times to email customer service and I have never heard back. I tried to call both ... read full review2 Replies - Latest reply on 05/22/2006
ONLINE -- My daughter ordered several items from this company. Their IT dept screwed up the order, cancelled it after two weeks and then their customer support team tried to tell us it was US that cancelled the order. After clearing that up, they said WE needed to go to the effort to redo the order, and they would give us a 10% discount and express shipping IF we did it in 2 days and WE would have to email them to get the credit for the discount and the shipping!
I have not even received the credit for the first order after 3 weeks! I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING SO AS WELL. This is NOT how I expect to be treated by a so called Christian company.
Imply we have done something wrong
ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA -- My daughter bought me a top for Christmas that didn't look good on me. I also noticed that part of a seam was not sewed. We tried to return it but Forever 21 staff claimed that the price tag was adhered ... read full review2 Replies - Latest reply on 02/15/2011
TUCSON, ARIZONA -- I was buying clearance items. The store employee lied to me about the price of my item, and asked me to get another item of that price for a buy-one-get-one free. Later I found the price was lower on the one item I originally wanted. The store refuses to take back any red marked items no matter what and not even for store credit. This time they tricked me into paying $12 for a $7 item. They have done this to me before, but this time I caught them on the spot. "Sorry, once rung up - no refunds...ha ha ha." They actually laughed at me, and then the store manager walked away and would not talk with me again. Watch out for the "Buy More Trick"!1 Replies - Latest reply on 11/28/2010Add reply

She used her own money an loved them so much she wore them out the store.
They broke before we got to the car! The staff in the store could have cared less and offered her a gift card because they don't give cash back.
This store really is the worst and they don't care about their customer.
Shame on you Forever 21 owners!
The worse on-line buying process!!!!!
I ordered a $100 e-gift card for a gift early on Saturday morning as a gift for Sunday. No reason to expect that it wouldn't be a near-immediate transaction. 12 hours later I get an email telling me that I have to call my bank and get a verification number. Ugh? The bank is closed on the weekends so my Sunday gift is now late.
I called Forever 21 on Monday morning and am told that they already have the verification number, but I have to call the bank to get it again and then tell them so that they can compare it. Again, ugh? They also tell me that I can fax them a picture of my credit card and when received they would immediately send the e-gift card.
When I called back to check on it, I was told that it could be another 24 hours before it was sent. UGH? By this time I am way past irate and the second person I talked to took the time to contact the supervisor and she assured me that the order would be processed.
So the advice is -- find another company to buy from or at least stay away from their on-line services. I would hate to have you asking ugh? ugh? UGH?
Bought shirt & it turned out to have a hole in it. Tried to return it but they wouldn't take it back even tho it was within their return time. Their customer service people won't even return my calls or emails. I hope they are one of the businesses that go under in 2009, they don't deserve our money. 5 Replies - Latest reply on 04/12/2009Add reply
AIEA, HAWAII -- Store Managers and sales associates at Forever21 are trained by the company that there is absolutely no returns. Even if you purchase a damaged item consider it "final sale". Have a problem with a credit card transaction? You'd be better off working it out with your credit card company. Many people complain about the customer service at the stores, long lines and messy store. The reality is that the company really doesn't care.... It's privately owned and doesn't have to answer to anyone.
It's profit driven someone should really look into their employment practices.
MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT -- I have been to Forever 21 three times and out of those three times, two of my purchases have broke or have ripped within a couple days of purchase. The stuff they sell is cheap, but do not be fooled. They SELL it cheap because it is MADE cheap.

I purchased a necklace my second time there and it broken within the next day. Recently, I went back and bought a wallet, which ended up ripping on it's own. When going back with my receipt to see if they would exchange it, they replied no and that they do not accept "damaged items". If they do not accept them, why do they sell them?
I had no problem with the people who worked there; however the quality of clothing and other merchandise is considerably lower than other stores. I would highly recommend that you do not shop at this store.
HAZELWOOD, MISSOURI -- We bought a necklace on 12/22 and it broke on 1/7. When we returned to the store for a replacement or repair we were told to get lost. All jewelry is sold as-is. I guess it is understandable that when you sell worthless crap it might be inconvenient to stand behind it.

Please avoid this pathetic excuse for a business and let it die a well deserved death. I don't understand how Forever21 expects to stay in business with this level of customer abuse.
