Tried to place an order online. Buy one get one free... huh? Does not state that it must be the same size. Says it won't take your money till order ships, but once I saw the total amount, I tried to cancel order and wouldn't let me cancel and the money was already withdrawn from my account. Tried to use the same website again for correct ordering and it did the same thing again! Now I got 2 orders and the money from the first order was $131.70 and the second order was $99.90.
Called the 877# provided on website and was told they can't cancel the order I'd just placed. Was told to wait 6 hours and gave another number to call to cancel the order. I did as instructed but was told the order already shipped so they couldn't cancel, I'd have to refuse the order when delivered by my postman. I did as told. Waited over a week and finally one order of $99.90 was returned to my account. Waited another week for the $131.70. Had to call customer service and ask for my second refund. Was given the refund and waited 2 days and only $99.90 was returned to my account. Called customer service again and was told they don't return the shipping costs.
Now I tried from the very beginning to cancel these orders and believe it's THEIR fault having a deceptive website that took my money immediately from my account. I want my $31.80! Ridiculous! What can I do?
WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT -- My complaint is their website gave me no chance to review order before it was placed. My order was not what I thought I was ordering. When I went to their customer service it said to contact them in 24 hrs so they would have my order info.. This I did only to be told the order had already been sent. Only help I was given was a $25 refund on $131.70-$31.50 of that in shipping. When I received the order every item had been doubled. I thought I was buying a warm cozy fleece pjs one for husband and one for me. I have four and they are poor quality!
Also there wasn't any order slip inside so no way to send back without a lot of red tape and more shipping to pay! I guess you could say I was really taken! I have been buying online for a long time and have never had a problem like this. Their website gave me no way to fix my mistake, I think that is an unscrupulous practice!!!
WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT -- On-line advertisement for product and billing were deceptive and misleading. Posted that the "item ordered would not be processed or shipped for 48 Hrs". Also posted "Your Credit Card will not be charged until your order ships". The billing portion of the on-line order asked to "continue" (not accept) and then charges to account were made immediately. Customer service contacted and said they could not cancel order, and that we would have to wait 'till we received the item and THEN return it for a refund, even though it had not been processed.
