KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- After receiving a quote and setting a date, they claimed all the specs about the pickup weren't accounted for, although I told the salesperson. They upped the quote, but said it would be taken off my next shipment with them. Paid in full before shipment, before they scheduled pickup. After delivery they claim the trucker said the weight was 1,000 pounds more than what had been quoted, and what I know the weight actually was. Called my salesman and he said the extra charges would be wiped off (actually repeats this 6 times).

However, the daily harassment calls from their collection department continue, now claiming the salesman says claims there was a contingency to wipe out the balance. What??? Guess he forgot to tell me about whatever else was on his mind. Bottom line - find honest folks to do business with. Now using The Freight Rate Company - no problems and lower price, too.

RUSSELLVILLE, KENTUCKY -- Freightquote is a bait and switch company. I emailed them and asked them what it would cost me to have a 4 pallet shipment from Chicago to Ky delivered. I didn't know what my merchandise classification was so I let them determine that. They did so and gave me a fair price so I had them do the shipping through AAA Cooper. After the items were delivered they email me and tell me I owe them almost twice what they had quoted because AAA Cooper said it wasn't classified properly.

Well Freightquote is the one who classified it so I believe they should have to pay the difference. They basically suckered me in with a low rate and then raised it after delivery. My credit card company wouldn't reverse the charge because the delivery receipt I had signed says that I would be responsible for any up charges that may occur. Thanks to PAYPAL for that wrong doing as well. By the way this is the second time I used Freightquote and both times they pulled this stunt. Shipper BEWARE!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Paid for delivery with Freightquote.com. Hired 2 laborers to assist with unloading the merchandise on the expected delivery date. When the end of the day arrived and the delivery was still pending, I called Freightquote and inquire if the shipment was lost or delayed. The CS representative told me that the carrier reports the shipment is still an entire state away and the shipment will be delivered tomorrow.

Freightquote.com caused me to waste resources due to not notifying me that the shipment would be delayed. When I mentioned this to the CS rep, I was told that was the nature of the business. I have to disagree and when I am done with this shipment, I will never use their service again! Buyer beware!

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- They quoted me a a price on two different shipment which I have in writing and based my decision to use them instead of other quotes I received. After the shipment is been delivered they charged more than quote and in one case over $500 more! After disputing it as I keep a record of quote in writing they agreed and charged my credit card for both shipments the quoted amount. Several weeks later they contacted me again saying I owe more. Don't use them. There are other carriers out there!

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- Freightquote brokered my load to R & L Trucking, who showed up with the wrong BOL. R & L charged my vendor over $100 more for a load we have already paid CH Robinson for. After a month of chasing both companies for THEIR error and their promises to resolve the situation, the representative from Freightquote screamed at me it wasn't his problem even though "I was hell bent on making it CH Robinson's fault." They are refusing to help and someone has more than doubled their money.

KANSAS -- Fraudulent charges and no communication. Shouldn't even have my credit card number. Do not do business with this company under any circumstances. Run!

KANSAS CITY MO -- They will quote you the lowest, so you book with them. They lie to you. Overbill you. Do your research on this company... Ripoff reports. They even lost large clients due to their horrible reputation. So their business model is based on stealing from honest people, students, small business, your mother and grandpas. How do they sleep at night? They even sued their own employees for quitting. They were sued in a class action lawsuit for not paying overtime to their employees.

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- Freightquote quoted one price and charged $288 more after delivery and they fraudulently used my credit card on file without permission. To add insult to injury they damaged my new products during delivery. Their scam company needs to be shut down before they harm further consumers.

DENVER -- I had to ship 3 items over the holidays. None of them went as plan. The time frames published on the FreightQuotes website were not realistic. I ordered and paid for lift gate service, and in one incident the truck arrives without a lift gate. When I complained, I was offered 1/3 of the cost of typical lift gate service. They seem to do anything they can to give you back your money. I recommend you avoid these people and deal directly with the shipper.

KANSAS CITY MISSOURI -- They do not honor their quote and bills you 3 weeks later for double what you were quoted. Report these criminals. Your bank or credit card will reimburse you... Report them to all banks.
