So many blunders

HOSUTON, TEXAS -- I have had a terrible experience working with from your flowers. I received an email from the company saying that they were sorry that I cancelled my order. When that was never the case.
I never said that I wanted to cancel my order and have now been made aware that my order, originally schedule to be delivered on the 15th (you can check the receipt it does present the same information) is now going to arrive on the 20th. Furthermore, I did originally put a delivery address that was not valid. However, the day after ordering these flowers I not only sent an email giving the order number and correct email address but also called your company to make sure the correct address was put in by one of your phone operators. I was told that my order should arrive on the 16th then. Now I receive this email from your company saying that my order was canceled. I also received a voicemail which I could not understand in the slightest. I then called your company and got in touch with yet another phone operator and she said that my order was not canceled but was to be delivered on the 20th. This makes me frustrated because I did pay extra for my parents to receive this package on the 15th. The mixed information that I receive from your company is very unprofessional and quite confusing. Today, my mother and father received the flowers that I paid $60 dollars for. The online picture of the bouquet was gorgeous and I could not wait for them to see them. When they send me pictures of what they received my heart dropped. It looked like flowers that I could get at a low quality grocery store for ten maybe even five dollars. Unfortunately, this is the second negative incident I have had with from you flowers. For one of the flower bouquets I ordered from the past never got delivered to my sister on her birthday. I called the company when this happened and was told that he bouquet was out for delivery, but it never came.

ST PAUL, MINNESOTA -- For our 40th anniversary, I decided to surprise my wife with flowers. After looking at several online florist, I chose a bouquet from Flowersfromyou that looked very nice and I thought my wife would be very surprised and happy. When the flowers arrived, I could tell my wife was not very excited. When I looked at the flowers, my heart sank. They were just a few flowers in a vase and looked nothing like the picture on the website. They looked absolutely cheap and I was embarrassed. They were about a fifth the size of what I expected. I felt cheated. The next day, I emailed Flowersfromyou and attached pictures of the flowers that were sent. I have not received a reply from them. They took my money and ran, Thanks for ruining my surprise for my wife.

SCOTT DEPOT, WEST VIRGINIA -- I don't know how this company has high reviews. My daughter and her boyfriend had a horrible experience with them! He had ordered her a bouquet of roses, teddy bear and chocolate for her 18th birthday. He (and his mom) had paid extra to have it delivered before noon so he could take her out for a day of fun. Noon came and went with them sitting and waiting. One o'clock, 2 o'clock, 3... they called, checked tracking number. They were finally given a refund on expedited fee. Finally it arrived at 5:50pm!! It was absolutely NOT what either of them expected. It came in a cardboard box, the flowers were fully bloomed after they were told it would be buds, the chocolate was completely melted. Several petals had already fallen off the roses in the box. The petals were already turning brown on several. The teddy bear was made very cheaply. Like something from the Dollar Tree. This company WASTED their entire day waiting for this CRAP to arrive!! This was a very special day for her turning 18!! Both of them looked like they were about to cry when they saw them. He had also paid for their picture to be on the vase, thinking it would be preserved IN the vase. It was just on a piece of paper that you stick down in the vase!! What a freaking RIPOFF!!! His mom called and after having to speak to 2 or 3 people and being put on hold 2 or 3 times they finally grudgingly gave her a refund but that didn't make up for the disappointment felt by either of our kids. None of us, or our friends, will ever order thru this company!! They are also very unprofessional!

DES MOINES, IOWA -- I ordered a candy basket for my grandson for his opening night at the community theater. They delivered 2 baskets and charged me twice. The two baskets were not equal in size or content. They offered to pick the second one up as long as it was untouched. Right! It was delivered to 12 year olds two days ago! I was on hold with them for 1 hour.

Worst Company Ever Never Delivered

SAYBROOK, NORTH CAROLINA -- I placed an order for a dozen roses to be sent to my girlfriend's job on Wed 7/29. They were ordered with same day delivery and given instructions that the business closes at 3pm. NO DELIVERY. Tuesday I asked for them to be redelivered Thurs to work but said she was going to be leaving at 1pm. NO DELIVERY. I then called at about 2pm to ask if they could be delivered to her home address later that day. They confirmed with the florist that they could be and that deliveries were done until 7pm. My girlfriend was home at 4pm waiting. I spoke to her at 7:20 and asked if they were delivered, still no delivery.

I called these clowns back and asked for a new florist to try and deliver them to work again today (Fri 7/31) but let them know she was leaving work early to go out of town for the weekend. I was told they would "upgrade the order" and include an apology note. Guess what? They still weren't delivered. That's 3 days, 2 florists, and times they had flowers go out for delivery only to not be delivered. They say they can't guarantee delivery time, why can every other company give some sort of estimated delivery time or especially in the case of a missed delivery make sure the order gets priority and is delivered first the following day?

I called to complain and ask for a refund and the girl I spoke to asked if her manager could call me to discuss this and offer me free flowers? Free flowers always sound like a great idea, the problem is these idiots wouldn't deliver them anyway. No thanks. I'll pass. I have never in my life dealt with such complete and utter incompetence. I should have handpicked the roses myself and driven a couple hours and delivered them myself. At least I know they would have actually gotten delivered and considering the amount of time I spent on the phone with these morons, it might have actually saved me time.

If you ever have a loved one die, don't order flowers from these fools unless you want them delivered the day they rise from dead, because that's about how long it's going to take to get your flowers to their destination. Again 3 days... 2 florists... 4 attempts to two different addresses... NO FLOWERS. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Birthday Ruined Waiting For A Delivery That Never Arrived.

SARASOTA, FLORIDA -- One star is too high a review for this incompetent company that ruined my birthday today. I'll keep this short and succinct. My husband is very ill and both children felt I needed flowers to cheer me up as it was the first time in 44 years that I would be spending my birthday alone. My son's flowers, from another company, arrived early this morning. My daughter's from this company never arrived. I was told that I had missed the delivery (I was home all day) and the flowers would be delivered the following day.

I spoke with the driver and begged for delivery today on my birthday because it was the first time I was alone and was about to visit my ill husband, but would wait for the delivery first before going to see him. The driver promised she would return. I waited 4 hours. Then, she called and said she would be there in 30 minutes. She never arrived. I never got to see my husband today since visiting hours were over and I spent the entire day alone, waiting for a promised delivery. Later, I received a call from their 800 number and was put on hold for 27 minutes. I called from another line and was again placed on hold. They wouldn't give me any information except to say that the flowers were delivered (they were not).

I asked for the name of the florist; they refused. I asked where they were located since they all spoke with an accent and they refused to answer. After speaking with 4 women, who were not American, I finally told them they should give my daughter a refund and give me flowers gratis. They kept apologizing but said they couldn't do anything. Only my daughter could argue the case. I didn't want that because I didn't want my daughter to feel bad about the situation. They insisted and when my daughter called, was offered a discount on her next order. Save yourself the aggravation and find another site from which to choose.

Horrible Horrible Horrible Company!

MIAMI, NEW YORK -- The most dysfunctional company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with! Placed the order to send to my girlfriend three days before Valentine's Day to be delivered the day before Valentine's because apparently they charge more for delivering on the actual holiday (despicable). So I get a call on Friday the day before it was due to be delivered and they claim they have a problem locating the address. I tell them that it's a new build house but I assured them I just looked it up on Google Maps and it popped up no problem. She said she will let the florist know that it works through Google... Fine... Simple misunderstanding.

So then I get a call the day it was supposed to be delivered (yesterday) at around 4 pm by customer service once again. She was claiming the same thing the lady I just spoke to the day before was. I now tell this CSR that I had the same conversation the day before and she tells me there is nothing in the notes that that conversation ever took place. She was very apologetic and put me on hold while she called the florist to confirm they were aware of the address situation and that it would be able to be delivered by Sunday, Valentine's Day.

She comes back on the line and let's me know she took care of it and for my troubles she was giving me a free upgrade to include flowers and chocolates, a 15% discount on my current order and a $15 gift certificate. Woohoo! Awesome right?? NOPE! GUESS AGAIN!! It's now 3:30 PM on Valentine's Day and I just received another phone call from their customer service saying the florist could not find the house and it will not be delivered. I told her to get me in contact with the florist themselves and I'll deal with them myself. She said she had tried calling them herself because she already had the right information but they would not answer or return her message.

This is more a dig at the florist that's behind the scenes. But you gotta question the professional integrity of any broker who is willing to do business with these idiot florists. Needless to say, I cancelled my order and my girlfriend who is on the other side of the country will not be receiving flowers from her loving boyfriend on Valentine's Day. THANK YOU FROMYOUFLOWERS.COM AND UNKNOWN STUPID FLORISTS!!!

Dishonest Business Concept

FLORIDA -- Worst flower delivery ever. Don't bother about choosing a specific bouquet or arrangement on their site. You are wasting your time as they will deliver whatever they want. Also don't waste your money on same day or early morning delivery as they will deliver whenever they feel like. We placed two orders and both were unacceptable wrong. They might blame their local supplier (Omer Flowers in Fort Lauderdale) but that is not our problem. It is their own business concept and they choose whom to deal with. Waste of time, effort and money. There are plenty of other suppliers to choose from.

Didn't Deliver on Time (Expedited Fee)

NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Ordered a bouquet on the 19th for delivery on the 20th. Paid for an expedited fee ($4.99) which guaranteed delivery by 12pm. The flowers did not get delivered until after location was closed (school office) at 5pm. This company is basically a marketing firm that serves as a liaison between you and small private florists. Those florists have no contact with you and I doubt they are even made away of time considerations. They certainly weren't in my case.

I went with this service because it was about $30 cheaper for a similar bouquet, but I ended up regretting it. Just spend the extra money and go with a bigger and more well established company. I talked to customer service and received a refund, but by then I was too disappointed to care.
