RIVERDALE, GEORGIA -- I made a same day order for flowers and a balloon bouquet for a 30th birthday. First, I called and the representative that I spoke to was not helpful at all. There was a HUGE language barrier. She couldn't even understand me enough to spell the receive to name correctly after I spelled several times for her. So, out of my frustration, I decided that I would call back.
The second call that I made was better. The girl was actually helpful, but because I was unable to pull up the website so that I could look at her suggestions, I said that I would call back. Call three. The representative was unwilling to help me find the bouquet that I wanted to so I chose to not to continue with yet another difficult conversation, so once again I have to call back when I have the right product code.
Call 4! This call was the same as the first one, but I had no choice. I needed these flowers delivered, it was a 30th birthday, so I endured the torture. I went through the spelling of the recipient's name at least 6 times!!! But I needed these flowers and balloons delivered today. Between the name being wrong and him not getting the correct address, I am annoyed. The representative confirms with me that the package was going to be delivered on the same day. I kept confirming this throughout the entire call.
I am finally able to complete the order, only to get two emails less than 20 minutes later stating that the flowers were not going to be able to be delivered on the same day, but 3 days later, and they would refund the same day delivery charges for both orders. I didn't check my email for 3 hours after I made my order, so it is now 5:00, and I am screwed. I was more upset because I didn't get a call to say that the order was not going to be delivered, so I called.
And the ** show continued. I am now on call five for these ** flowers. The first rep, like the previous two had a language issue. All she kept doing was apologizing and then offered to refund me the $8.99 same day delivery charge. I was too pissed to try to keep talking to her, so I asked for a supervisor. Enter in Marcus after being on hold for 15 minutes. He also has the same language barrier. When I asked him why was I notified, he apologized and offered to take 50% off and deliver it on Tuesday. Then I told him that I had two orders. He looked at the second one and agreed to the same terms.
So when I asked him what the total was going to be, there was no 50% refund. It was only 50% off of the products that I ordered, not the entire order. I was still expected to pay the same day delivery charges for something that I was not going to receive. So I finally said ** it and canceled the entire order. Do yourself a big favor and avoid this company at all cost. They are not based in the US, so you are dealing with people that don't speak English or understand it well. They ruined a great surprise and a birthday. Order from ANY PLACE BUT HERE!!! TOO PISSED!!! Marcus, supervisor.
At 12pm 2/13/18 (the day before Valentines Day) I placed an order online with FromYouFlowers to be delivered on Valentines Day for my daughter who had just lost her husband a couple weeks before. She was working from home that day and waited, and waited and by 8pm we both conceded to the fact that I chose a VERY BAD and IRRESPONSIBLE company.
My order contained both of our cell phone numbers in case of any delay or problems. It is now 2pm 2/15/18 the day after Valentines Day and I have called them to find out what is going on, they ask me to be put on a "brief hold" and I have now been on hold for 20 minutes. I believe their intention is for me to get tired of holding and go away. I cannot tell you how something that was supposed to be uplifting has turned into a grave disappointment and tearful.
It would have been better if I hadn't tried to send any flowers at all; and, I paid quite a bit for this. What is this company? Are they for real? Put up a colorful website and steal people's money. In this time, the lady did come back to the phone to tell me: "O.k. Ma'am the flowers did not get delivered; so, at this time the best I can offer you is a 10% refund and a gift certificate for $10." As if I would ever even consider going through this again! With the order still not delivered I insisted on canceling the order for a full refund, supposedly they are processing my refund.
I placed an order for flowers on May 27. It was urgent and time sensitive situation so I picked an arrangement that was eligible for same day delivery and paid two additional charges for upgraded delivery. Theoretically the arrangement was supposed to be delivered before noon on May 28. Well it wasn't. At noon, because I hadn't heard from the recipient, I called to see if the flowers had arrived. Nope. So I went online and tracked the delivery only to find that the delivery time had been "changed to Tues, May 30"... 48 hours after the upgraded delivery time.
Did this company bother to email or call me to tell me about the delay? Nope. Did they automatically refund the charges associated with expedited delivery? Nope. When I called they acted as if my desire for some sort of notification about the delay and an automatic refund of the money associated with expedited delivery was crazy and asking too much! Then they put me on hold for, and I'm not kidding, 20 minutes while they cancelled the order. They then explained that they couldn't send notification of the cancellation for 48-72 hours. Really? Like I'm supposed to trust this unethical company?
Then I asked for a supervisor. It took another 5-7 minutes for that person to answer the phone. I explained my concerns to her, and the first thing out of her mouth was, "I don't know why the customer service person even talked to you because the order isn't under your name [It's under my husband's name, but paid for with the card in MY name]. She shouldn't have talked to you at all.” Clearly a BRILLIANT strategy to deescalate a tense situation. In the course of my ridiculous conversation with her she had an attitude, never apologized.
She just tried to explain that why NOT notifying me about the delay so I could make alternate arrangements, and not refunding my money was acceptable. She also seemed to think it was perfectly fine that they couldn't send a statement of cancellation/refund for 48-72 hours. Ultimately I hung up and called American Express and contested the charge.
Interestingly, posted my experience on Facebook. Within 30 minutes 3 of my friends said that they had similar experiences and that they had to fight for their refunds. I then looked online and it seems as if their game is collecting expedited delivery charges and not delivering in a timely manner.
I am a professor at UCLA and many of my students have gone on to law school. I've put out an open call to them to look into the possibility opening a class action suit against FromYouFlowers for all of the expedited delivery charges that weren't delivered on time!!! I imagine some law firm will make a small fortune someday, so it might as well be one of my students. By far one of the scammiest, unethical, and rudest businesses I have has the misfortune of dealing with.
EDISON, NEW JERSEY -- ALL OF THE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS I'VE EVER ORDERED WERE BEAUTIFUL, AS BOTH MOM AND mother-in-law sent pics, lovely!!! Wanted to compliment "Grace", very sweet! Had a problem and spoke to supervisor,"Ez" and she was very understanding and helpful!
Big compliments to "De-Andrea"! I placed two orders today, May 8th and she was most considerate, patient and very kind, she reread all info back to me and I hung up feeling happy, respected and not worried about floral arrangements. One arrived to me within two hours, she is very competent and she & Grace are great assets to the FromYouFlowers business!! Only complaint to "Ez", way too much background noise.
The online “flowersfromyou.com” comes close to being a scam. What I ordered was two dozen roses in an extra cost mason jar, and I paid extra to have delivered on Valentine's Day. During my order I gave specific details on how to find my wife. This is what I got: flowers delivered in a box without water by UPS to the dock guy at the wrong building. I had to track them down.
They were dry, several petals were off, one stem had no rose, and a basic vase lay in the box. I had to assemble the arrangement myself. The whole was very disappointing and while talking to their customers' service, it was very clear they are used to complaints. DON'T BUY FROM THEM! They are worst than a toothache.
Good morning to all. Please do not use this company for anything. I requested flowers for my mother's 75th Birthday to be delivered to her home. I paid an extra fee to have it delivered that day. The company stated it would be delivered in four hours. 8 hours went by and no call from my mother stating she loved the flowers, so I called and asked her if anyone has been by to see her. Her reply: "No one, why?" So I had to call the company back and find out what went wrong.
They did apologize to me and state they would return the extra money I paid to have it delivered that day and they would upgrade the flower arrangement for her and it would be delivery the next day. So the next day a 75-year old woman waited around in hopes of a bouquet of beautiful flowers and nothing came, and the next day again nothing come.
On the fourth day I called them asked them what went on, why I mother did not receive her flowers. They said it would be delivery today. Guess what, again nothing. I called them back - they now stated that they tried to deliver the flowers but no one was home. They stated they left a note in the doorway. So I went to my mother's home - no note. My mother stated no one had come by. She doesn't drive and it's too cold for a 75-year old to wander around in the streets.
So the conclusion is they are not truthful about anything they stated to me on phone or e-mail. I have request my full refund from the company and I will contact my bank if it is not refunded to my account. Fraud is fraud. So please save yourself some issues and use someone else and check them out. Thank you for your time.
OLD SAYBROOK, ARIZONA -- This was the worst ordering experience I have ever had. The only reason I used this website was so that my Aunt's flowers could be delivered on her birthday. 4 hours later I am left a voice mail to call John back at 888.838.8853. I call this number back and am forced to listen to advertisement options. I should not have to sit through 30 ads to get to a customer service representative. I felt like I was being scammed and was considering calling my credit card company to report From you Flowers. Which I may need to do any way as I have no idea whether my order has really been cancelled or my money returned.
I hung up, went to the website and called the number provided. The answering service didn't even say the company name and I was on hold. When I finally spoke to the rep, Christopher ** he informed me that the florist couldn't deliver my flowers today because the driver was already out. At this point I have no option to get my Aunt her flowers like I would have at 10:30 am this morning. Christopher ** informed me there was nothing he could do other than have them delivered tomorrow.
I was very upset as I have paid $2.99 same day fee, $14.99 shipping and handling fee on top of the cost of the flowers and still getting no flowers on her birthday. Christopher said he could refund the $2.99, to upgrade the arrangement and call my aunt to apologize. That was very nice of him. However, I wanted those flowers delivered to her today. From You Flowers processed my order, took my money, took away my option of going to a competitor that could have actually fulfilled my order, and then could not make good on their promise. Because at the end of the day, all I wanted was to send my Aunt flowers on her birthday.
Bottom Line: Do not order flowers from this website! My boyfriend ordered me a vase of 30 pink tulips and paid for same day delivery. On the website, is pictured a vase bursting with full, vibrant, fully bloomed tulips. What did I receive? A teeny tiny vase in a gigantic box. The vase held not 30, but 17 tiny, squat, completely closed pink tulips that were suffocating in tight plastic wrap. I unwrapped them and four of the 17 (not 30) tulips promptly fell to the floor (they were broken on arrival and I am pretty confident that they were broken before they were shoved into the vase for shipping). Most of them had brown (dead) tips.
I sent a picture to my boyfriend and he was mortified! He had spent over 83.00 for this mess??? I have honestly seen fuller, healtheir, prettier flowers at 7-11 for about $8 or $9. Also, the vase was covered in fingerprints and dust. The little greeting card? Filthy (I mean with brown and green smear on it) torn and printed on some kind of white, perforated paper in faded black in with some weird graphic of 2 open cardboard boxes. Random. I called From You Flowers and I got the most sympathetic customer service representative on the phone, who apologized profusely and said she would refund my boyfriend in full.
She also encouraged me to NEVER order from the website, as the flowers are lower quality and look nothing like the picture. She said to call to place the order, as they will use a reputable, local florist that will actually do a good job. So, I thanked and her and decided that a refund was not enough. I wanted my Valentine's flowers and I wanted my boyfriend to not be so humiliated! So, this is on a Friday (2 days before Valentine's day). I shoot off an email to customer service and ask for a replacement. I get a semi-canned reply and they said they will send me a replacement...... on Tuesday (2 days after V-Day!). Why would I want their crappy flowers 2 days after V-day?
I want them on or before V-day and I want them from a REAL florist. I reply to the email and never got a response. So.... today I get a delivery from fromyouflowers.com. Deja-vu! I open the gigantic box (not very eco-friendly company, maybe???) and find the same tiny, squat vase shoved full of (this time 30) pink tulips, fully closed tulips, of course and you could see the brown rot on them through the suffocating plastic. All of my co-workers came in to get a laugh. I opened the tulips and put them in the vase. Of course, the vase is tiny, so the flowers don't fit and they are brown and smooshy in areas and falling over and the petals are separating.
I send a pic to my boyfriend - his reply? "WOW- they embarrassed me again." THEN, my co-worker tells me that her mom also ordered flowers from this website for Valentine's day and they were AWFUL. Her mom called to complain about the low quality and the price and they offered her a nominal discount -which she found degrading.
Long story short - I never got Valentine's Day flowers and my boyfriend has pretty much declared that he will never risk buying flowers again! Save yourself the embarrassment and bypass this company all together. Go with a florist that is affordable, provides fresh product, takes pride in presentation and more pride in customer service - because based on my experience, fromyouflowers.com cannot cut it.
