Terrible Experience

LINCROFT, NEW JERSEY -- Terrible product. Very embarrassing to receive a call from my mother and subsequent pictures of what was sent to her. On hold for over an hour with customer service and still no resolution -- thank God for American Express! Strongly recommend you purchase flowers from another company. Broken and dying flowers is not what we ever intended to order for my mom on Mother's Day.

Horrible Experience for a Funeral Arrangement

BETHPAGE, NEW YORK -- I used FromYouFlowers for a funeral arrangement and asked for it to be delivered in the morning as the wake was one day. This order was placed two days before the wake. The arrangement was delivered at 5 PM in the evening, the wake was until 9 PM. If I would have known this I would have never ordered this arrangement. The arrangement was so cheap looking that I was embarrassed as it was for my husband's sister. It looked nothing like the picture, it had more greenery than flowers.

Never Got My Flowers
By -

I place two orders - one for each Mom of mine - my mother and my mother-in-law. Let's start with my mother's order. It came in and was not at all what I ordered. When I called customer service about it, their computer translated it to a different bouquet, instead of the radiant Peruvian Lilly bouquet, however, my confirmation was what I ordered. Not only was it not the Lilly bouquet, it didn't even look like the other - the flowers were from ROYER'S flowers - a shop I don't shop at because they make terrible bouquets locally and I recommend you do not use them. They sent DEAD carnations and 7 Lilly flowers.

I called customer service and got my money back but Royer's gets to pick up the flowers? They ruined my gift and I don't think I should have to give back the flowers. Now let us move on to my Mother-In-Law's order. They were supposed to be delivered on Saturday to her home... and I find out on Saturday night that they never arrived.

Customer service offered to redeliver on Tuesday, because they couldn't deliver Monday - so I agreed to this rather than getting all of my money back because I wanted my Mother-In-Law to have flowers for Mother's Day. So, it is now Tuesday night and my Mother-In-Law never got her flowers. I called customer service and got my money back. I will never EVER use fromyouflowers.com again.

Total Bait and Switch

My son is away at college and he is celebrating his 20th birthday there. I wanted to do something special for him, so I decided to send him a fruit and snack basket. I wanted it to be special, so I was willing to spend a little more than average for this occasion. I found a delightful-looking basket on fromyouflowers.com. I ordered the Deluxe basket and the optional balloons, of which I could specify the colors. I waited anxiously all day until I received a photo via cell phone. I was so disappointed when I saw the basket! It looked absolutely NOTHING like the one in the picture as advertised. The balloons were even the wrong colors.

I wrote the company and email, as they have a so-called 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Ha! First they offered me a $10 certificate to be used on a future purchase. Um NO. There won't be a future purchase, thank you. I sent a reply quoting their guarantee that they would either refund my money or send a replacement.... my choice. This was countered with an email stating that they would "give" me a 20% refund in addition to the $10 coupon.

I emailed them back and asked if I was to presume that their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is a farce because giving me a 20% refund is not the same as refunding my money. I didn't receive a reply yet. I will not do business with these folks again. I wish I could upload photos here, because I could show you the difference between the two (advertised one and actual delivered one).

No flowers at visitation

OLD SAYBROOK, CONNECTICUT -- My Niece's visitation was Feb. 14, 2013 at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills, CA. I instructed Fromyouflowers.com to deliver the white rose casket spray in time for the visitation at 5:00 P.M. on the 14th. On the 13th, I decided I'd better call them and make sure everything was on track. It was only after I called them that they told me they were delivering the flowers on the 15th for the funeral. When I asked them why not the 14th as I asked, they said the funeral home at Forest Lawn had told them they could not deliver on that day. I actually drove to the funeral home to find out what was amiss. They found it was a fluke in their system and assured me everything was fixed.

On the 14th at 5 pm my family and I arrived to find a plain casket with no flowers. I spend 20 minutes waiting for Fromyouflowers.com to respond and was told they refused the flowers again. After a back and forth tussle with the funeral home and fromyouflowers.com, the flowers were finally delivered. They actually had the temerity to mention that it was "Valentine's Day" and that the florist might not be able to deliver on such short notice. For their part, Forest Lawn responded by having their own florists immediately make a lovely spray of flowers with no cost to me. Foryouflowers.com, on the other hand, seemed bent on finding excuses for their failure.

I wrote them a letter and a supervisor called me. I explained what had transpired and his first response was that I had been called. That was a lie and a bad start for them. After that, it went downhill. As I tried to explain, he talked over me and I had to keep saying "hello" before he shut up and let me get a word in edgewise. The conversation didn't last long because all he wanted to do was find excuses for their lack of good service. If I'd heard a "we're sorry" for your inconvenience or something like that, I'd have been somewhat satisfied. But I never heard those words.

Not even close to what I ordered

MAINE -- I'm not usually one to write reviews, but as I am currently sitting in Afghanistan with some extra time on my hands AND this happens to have irritated me to the point where I cannot sleep this seemed like something I should review. Being in the military I am used to missing holidays, birthdays, and most any other important event, but the one thing I rely on is that I can always send flowers so that they know I am thinking of them. It was my cousin's 21st birthday today. She's a wonderful young woman who has been through a lot in her short lifetime and I was very unhappy to not be there for it, so I sent flowers. A very pretty arrangement called "Red & Pink Floral Margarita."

Now I should mention my cousin lives in Maine. So, understandably I had expected the arrangement to differ in flower selection due to the seasonal nature of flowers. But the arrangement that showed up was so bad, so substandard to what I had ordered that it makes me sick. Cheap flowers and you can tell the florist put no effort at all into the arrangement. Cheap flowers in a big cheap vase. No, margarita vase even.

Now, if the "florist" in that area cannot provide a product similar to what is paid for online then it would be safe to assume either 1.) It wouldn't be offered so people wouldn't be paying $50 dollars for something that cannot be provided or 2.) The person would be contacted and arrangements for an equal value floral arrangement could be made or 3.) Reimbursement. Nope. They delivered a cheap product on an important birthday for an unreasonable price, nowhere close to what had been ordered.

I actually have pictures of what I ordered versus what was delivered, and if this site let me post them I would. This was from www.fromyouflowers.com. I was actually so disappointed in her receiving these flowers that I repurchased and expedited some from www.1800flowers.com.

I am completely disappointed with what they delivered today! When I placed the order I saw the note on the order saying that they might have to substitute and I called your customer service twice before I placed the order. The first person I spoke to said that it was possible that they may have to substitute the wire mesh for a different color but that would be only change. The second person said that he checked and I would definitely get something that looked very similar in size and presentation. According to the description of the remarkable roses it was to be 36 inches high, 20 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. What was delivered was a simple round vase.

The only reason I ordered this is because of the presentation. It was so much different than anything I have ever seen and I wanted something more than just flowers in a vase. Which is what they delivered a vase of roses. If that is what I wanted I could have gotten it for less than 100$ from Proflowers.com. I went with From You Flowers because I was told of good things from a co-worker who used them. When I called their customer service department I was told there are a lot of unhappy people today and there was nothing you can do for me. I called twice and got the same answer.

I will never order through them again as I don't feel as though they even made an attempt to deliver what I ordered. I understand that this is a very busy day for them and I can understand that there may be a need to substitute a white vase for a red one. However the product you delivered is not even close to what you depicted in size or presentation. How does the service I received meet their specifications of 100% satisfaction? I am not even 50% satisfied and was told "Too bad. Nothing we can do". What I got was 0% satisfaction.

Did Not Deliver!

GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- DID NOT DELIVER and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I do not usually post comments but was extremely disappointed in Fromyouflowers.com. I ordered flowers for a special occasion. The flowers were not only promised to be delivered same day, but needed to be delivered on the day for the purpose! My credit card was charged so I assumed the order was placed and flowers delivered. I got a call 2 days later from the company saying that the flowers could not be delivered on the day promised or the day after, but would I like to have them delivered the following day (3 days after ordering)?!

Oh, and "for my inconvenience," the delivery fee would be waived! (WELL, I WOULD HOPE SO, CONSIDERING THEY WERE NOT DELIVERED WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE!!!!!) I would have also liked to be offered a % off, but they "could not do that." I declined, asked for my money back and called a local florist. Spent a little extra in the end but my flowers were delivered same day with a smile!

From You Flowers Awful Customer Service
By -

OLD SAYBROOK, CONNECTICUT -- March 1, 2011 - DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THEM. I ordered SYMPATHY flowers for a co-worker whose husband died of cancer from her our Division. The flowers were never delivered and I NEVER received a phone call to let me know that those flowers were not delivered. This made me and my co-workers appear unconcerned for such a great loss to her and family. The only way we found out about flowers not being delivered was because someone asked her about them. NOBODY from From You Flowers contacted me. The flower order was replaced in the city where plenty of florists are available and again they did not deliver.

The manager that I spoke with ** from From You Flowers was rude and was not sympathetic towards the situation. That company is unreliable and has ZERO customer services skills. If the co-worker was never asked about her delivery From You Flowers would have kept the money and never would have delivered the flowers. This is a scam and fraud. Do not send a love one flowers from this company - you may lose your money and hope in customer service.

The flowers were ordered on FEBRUARY 11, 2011 today is March 1, 2011. It is still unresolved, they promise SAME DAY DELIVERY. This company is a scam, unreliable and I had the worst experience with them so not waste your time and money.
