WEST VIRGINIA -- Frontier is a horrible company. I was sent two bills for internet and phone services that I didn't authorize. I called the first time and they were suppose to cancel the service and didn't. I called when we got the second bill and was put on hold for 20 minutes and the representative was very rude to me and hung up because I asked if we were to receive another bill what was I suppose to do. I believe the reps need some more in depth customer service training.

I had Frontier before and had a problem with them then so I cancelled my service. This just proves that they have no idea what they are doing.

DELAND, FLORIDA -- I have been with Frontier for 15 years, since moving to this area. A couple of years ago, a woman from Frontier was plying the neighborhood (repeatedly) with an offer I couldn't refuse: around $30 for ... read full review1 Replies - Latest reply on 11/05/2010

Absolutely horrific company
In all my short 27 years of life I honestly have never met a service that is as terrible as this. The only reason I keep using it is because in this area Frontier has a monopoly and is the only carrier ... read full review1 Replies - Latest reply on 10/25/2010
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- We had to disconnect our service and they made us call back 3 times because their computers weren’t working. We still don’t know if it’s been shut off yet. When I called to get information on the cancellation and to get information to pay our final bill no one had answers. The agent would just say, “Yes, I’ll get that for you right away.” and then switch me to another agent who asked the same questions and sent me to yet another agent. Finally after 4 switches I asked to speak to a manager ... I’ve been on hold an hour now. This company is very, very incompetent!Add reply
I got stuck with Frontier after Verizon sold out to them in my area.
Their first act was to send me an e-bill for one line which was a duplicate of a bill I had already paid to Verizon. The next month ... read full review5 Replies - Latest reply on 09/10/2010
Frontier communications has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! They do not know their products and services at all. I have had 6 service issues in 6 weeks, and get different answers each time with regards to what they offer and what they don't, as well as rates quotes being different. I should have never switched from Verizon. If you don't have to switch to them, DON'T! 1 Replies - Latest reply on 09/01/2010Add reply
We had Verizon for years. They were always polite and quick to handle any problems. We still have the land line because of a younger kid in the home.
My phone isn't working. I call Frontier that took over for Verizon a couple months ago. I have never been treated worse by a company employee. I tell the lady that my phone isn't working. She asks if there is another number they can contact me at. I give her my cell number. I tell her that I'll only be available at it for a little while longer today. She says "oh we won't be calling you today". I say "O. K., I thought maybe you could check the line and see where the problem is". She says they can't do that. I say "Verizon could". She says in a real smarmy tone (not just my imagination) "We are not Verizon". I say "I guess not".
She says "We are real busy in your area so it will be Wed before we can get to this". I say "really, Wed"? (this is Saturday). SHe says "have a good evening" and hangs up on me. I'll have it cancelled before Wed.
OREGON -- I contacted Frontier Communications to add FiOS TV and cable for my house, as they have replaced Verizon in Clackamas, Oregon. Their representative quoted me different prices over the phone, and proceeded to send me an email where the pricing had doubled from her original offer! All with slower Internet speeds than quoted (much, much lower), different expiration dates on promotions and many other discrepancies. The representative reassured me my credit would not take a hard hit and this was a complete lie. Do not trust this company! I tried to contact the cancellation department and miraculously they are closed, even as I was speaking to a different customer service representative on the phone! Supervisors are not available for callbacks for 48 to 72 hours! This is customer service at its worst everyone! Do not give this company your hard earned money. I now have to fight with the credit agencies as well to remove the UNAUTHORIZED hard hit from my credit reports. 1 Replies - Latest reply on 04/13/2011Add reply
Hands down, Frontier Communications is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is poorer than anything I have ever seen, and their entire internal system is entirely flawed and dysfunctional.

If they did not have a monopoly in my area, I would not be caught dead using Frontier Communication as my phone and internet provider.
WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH, OUT OF ANY RELATED OR NON-RELATED COMPANY IN MY ENTIRE 30 YEARS OF EXISTENCE.
Frontier took over Verizon's FiOS cable TV service in my town, Sherwood, Oregon in late January 2010. Now the DVR menu for Series Manager no longer shows the time of a program, or the day, or even the channel! That data is essential. It's incomprehensible that Frontier subscribers cannot access that information! Add reply

ROCHESTER NY -- Sent them money check they wanted $121 was sent $150.00 then $100. Still turned the service off. The service 28 month 27 month for instance 9/28/2007-10/27/2007 the service turned off 24 before they still billed. You have to pay extra to pay the bill. That's not fair. They do not send the checks back to the bank where there customers are so there no way to prove other than money coming out of the account. This is happening in West Virgina the company is in New York. People cannot drive to New York to pay bill.
