Repair people refused to believe technical problems about the new ASUS computer. I returned the computer to them several times, they continued to deny the computer needed repair. OGDEN, UTAH -- I bought the one year service and a new $800 lap top it was suppose to fix may two old computers and clean my new one and back the files up on the new one. I live in wy. so 100 miles one way so I ask to make sure everything had been done because I lived so far away and they said oh yes we are professional and my back up disk were in the box with my new computer. Got home and nothing had been done I mean not one thing not even my back up disk. So I called they act like no big deal just bring back and they will make it right like it was no big deal. The Geek Squad Agent completely missed the fact the my PC had a virus. He didn't run a check, but told me I needed a new computer. I took the PC to Click Away and it was them that found the virus problem. They also pointed out that previous Geek Squad service to my PC did not recognize the there were two security systems operating at the same time which made complete scans for virus's incomplete. 1 Replies - Latest reply on 09/10/2011Add reply
I purchased my internet service from Clear wire. They recommended service from Geek Squad. I explained that my last experience painfull and service was the worst I ever received. It as only $14.99 a month for online service and that the person I was talking to at CLEAR had used the service and liked it. After 2 weeks of trying to logon to the Geek Squad site with the password they provided me with not success. I called to cancel the service. They could not find me as a customer in their system. They certainly found me when they charged my credit card for the 1st month. After over an hour on the phone, they promised they would get back to me with 48 hours. We will see.
