CLERMONT, FLORIDA -- They charge me $45.99 just for signing up. Their notification of the charge was vague (if it existed at all). They dragged their feet issuing me a refund (when I email a refund request they told me no & to stay with the service instead). When I finally did get my refund they took a $14 processing fee!

ME, TENNESSEE -- First of all my bank card and phone was stolen. I looked on my online account and seen where Global Tel had changed my account 45.99 for inmate calling. Sad thing about it is I don't know anyone who is incarcerated. I called all three numbers and couldn't reach anyone. I emailed them and explained to them the situation and they still trying to say I set it up and they can refund me 31 dollars. Hell naw. That's scamming at it's finest. I called my bank and did a fraud claim and cancelled my cards. My bank got me back my full 45.99. This is a crime. They need to be in jail.

CALIFORNIA -- They are extremely misleading by operating under a name that is similar to Globaltel Link. DO NOT MISTAKE THEM FOR GLOBALTEL LINK! They will charge you $45.99 to give you a local number that you could get from anywhere for free. It has absolutely nothing to do with cheaper inmate calls. When you try to get a refund they will try to charge you $10. LOLOLOLOLOL. Clearly these people don't understand the concept of how a REFUND works. I disputed it with my bank already, canceled my debit card and asked for a new one, and I can't wait for the day these people get sued. 1971, MISSISSIPPI -- THIS WEBSITE IS MISLEADING!!! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 45.99 FOR A BOGUS NUMBER THAT YOU DON'T REALLY NEED IN the first place. Oh and heaven forbid you need a refund !!! Omg, it has been 2 weeks and I still have not got a refund, and they are only refunding part of the initial charge and I didn't use 1 second of air time on this number. Fraud if I ever seen it. I'm reporting them. Will hire a lawyer if I need to. Don't care if it costs me more than they owe me. It's a matter of principal.

NEW YORK -- I tried to set up an account and the site froze. I called another place and set something up. The next morning there was 45.99 charge. I messaged them and got an answer signed princess (I am serious) that told me to get over it. I'm not kidding. I replied I was going to the bank in the morning to dispute the charge and they said they voided my account. I was actually returned that money it did not drop off. I think that scared them. I found out two family members were scammed as well and the other site said it's happened to a lot of people. Stay away.

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA -- To be clear: this company does not provide a service beyond what you could get for free using something like Google voice or another voice VoIP service. GlobalTel will charge a customer $45 a month for what would otherwise be offered for free. They clearly state this on their website. They are not offering phone services for inmate calling only offering a phone number that is local to the prison system from which you would like to receive phone calls. It is misleading however because they have a name similar to other service providers that do offer actual calling services out of a prison.

1963, MONTANTA -- I mistakenly bought what I thought was minutes for my son to call me from prison. It was a different service and they only refunded $31 of $45.99. I tried to get refunded same day as purchase. That is $14.99 less time that my son can reach out!

FLORIDA -- They claim to help talk to inmares they do not help they take your money!!!

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- I was charged $45.99, and I didn't see on the website where it said it would charge me that! I emailed them demanding a refund, because that money was my food money! They refuse to give me my refund unless I pay $31?! They are literally trying to kill me!

Absolutely horrible company they say they are going to provide you with the 1-800 number after you pay them their fees so that you can contact your loved ones in carcerated. But then don't provide you with the number. And charge you and then will not refund you. Simply horrible ridiculous disgusting unacceptable on the market company they should be taken off.
