No Answer To My Problem
Posted by on
I have tried various ways to be connected to Pogo to no avail. I have not gotten any solutions as of yet. If Google has a problem with its internet it would be appreciative for an answer.

It is frustrating not knowing what's wrong and I find it rude not to answer.

I do not understand what this complaint is about. is a separate site if u can‘t connect to the site the servers must be down its not googles fault.
danny54 on 2011-03-01:
I'm not sure why the OP can't access Pogo either. I play a couple of the games there, so I just checked and I could access and log on to it just fine.

Perhaps it's something with the OP's ISP?
momsey on 2011-03-01:
What does Pogo have to do with Google?
Anonymous on 2011-03-01:
Yeah maybe something is going on with the OP's ISP. Google is just a search engine.

CALIFORNIA -- I saw the popup on my home page, even some person here in my home town (I wish I had written down his name or called to see if he really exists) I contacted Google for information and was charge $2.79.

Of course there were multiple pages of fine print, now called terms of agreement, thinking Google a reputable company I paid little attention. This month I found a charge of 81 dollars plus change to my account by a company Financial Success Kit On Line.

I've recently learned that hey have multiple addresses and represent almost every scam going. I intend to keep pursuing this as far as possible. Incidentally I find that Google has 1497 complaints listed.

These "Make money from home" scams are not run or endorsed by Google. You will have to dig a little deeper to find out who is really behind the scam.

The best place to start is to visit the website that you signed up (if you can find it again) and see if they have any contact info listed. If they don't, check the "whois" registry information for that domain name. You might be able to find a contact that way.

But again, these scams are not endorsed by Google.

If you have your own web page, you can apply for google adsense. And you get paid when people visit your site or click on advertiser ads.

That’s the only legitimate way I know how a person can make money of goolge.
PepperElf on 2009-11-18:
yeah but you have to be very careful
if they catch you encouraging people to spam-click then they pull your account

in fact even talking about it it on the page you have the stuff installed to can get you in trouble if I'm not mistaken
Anonymous on 2009-11-18:
It takes money to make money! I'm sure that charge was on the terms that you didn't read.
CrazyRedHead on 2009-12-02:
On the page you put your information there is small print at the bottom that explains the charges that you will receive if you don't cancel within a certain amount of time.

Google Blogs
Posted by on
We are all for free speech, but many blogs have and do cross the line. The way we are to report abuse on a Google blog gives many people who can not afford a lawyer. Unlike Yahoo and Myspace who will listen to complaints of cyber-bullying and in most cases take action, Google & Blogger will not. Cyber-bullying has become bigger as most of the perpetrators know that Google and Blogger will not do anything to remove malicious content. I speak from personal experience after having my personal information posted by a stalker and reported it 3 times Google has taken NO Action. Maybe it is time to hit Google in their large wallet and their sponsors.

My hats off to MySpace and Yahoo for stepping up. Shame on Google and their weak policies

The malicious comments from hateful blogs will remain in Google searches for a very long time.

This can and will effect people trying to get a job.

It would seem like the simplest remedy would be to just not use th eservice.Remember the old joke about the man who visits the doctor and says 'my arm hurts when I do this', and the doctor says 'then don't do that'. If people stop using the abusive services, they will die off on their own accord.

kind of like here huh guys? lol
Anonymous on 2009-03-13:
LOL it's done in a more passive aggressive manner, jkt..taking subtle jabs without actually posting any personal info.

On a serious note to the OP though, I've seen a lot of stories about cyber bullying/stalking and it is a very real and frightening thing that's happening more and more often. It's always best to never give out your personal information.

I never realized how serious this cyber bullying/stalking was until I had a friend whose daughter was being terrorized by the "popular" kids at her junior high on her Facebook. It's really sad that they are not taking these accusations seriously. And they should. The best thing to do is keep your information private and NEVER give it to anyone that you do not know.
Alain on 2009-03-13:
Good point, Principissa. No one wants to know too much about me anyway.

I downloaded it just fine the first time I tried. Perhaps you need to disable your cookies. Maybe you need to disable your virus protection program briefly, while you download Chrome. Your brief rant mentions no attempt on your part to make it work.
madconsumer on 2009-09-06:
I bet your virus scan see the exe file and blocks it. you can add it to the profile, but why would you want google chrome? just more of googles way to bloat your system and promote their own ideas.
Ben There on 2009-09-06:
I have downloaded it on 3 computers with no problems. I got it just to check it out but I am growing more fond of it. Madconsumer - what ideas does Google promote through a web browser?
