BENSENVILLE, ILLINOIS -- We had Granite Transformations install countertops in our kitchen, since then we’ve had problems with them, at one point the company did re-install new countertops (it took almost a year back and forth to get them to do anything about it) due to an obvious flaw, which they admitted themselves that something wasn’t right and others had the same problem. After the second installation, I’ve been calling and written letters to them and the headquarters, but no response, we are being ignored (especially Headquarters, never even acknowledged the first complaint). I wasn’t happy with the new countertop they installed, you couldn’t really tell what it looked like until 24 hours later because you weren’t supposed to wipe off the dust right away, the countertops look nothing like the samples they show you and I still can’t put anything on the countertops without a cloth down because any liquid leaves a mark or stain, even fingerprints don’t wash off. Their product is not what they say it is and for the amount of money that we paid, we should be able to use the countertop for what it’s intended for.
