AURORA, COLORADO -- DO YOU LIKE TO BE THREATENED? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. (To avoid getting sued, I'm saying "all this is in my opinion"). I placed an order for a Single bottle of the product, and after carefully reading all the available fine print, I DECLINED the "Get One Free" offer SPECIFICALLY TO AVOID BEING SIGNED UP INTO THEIR BOGUS VIP "AUTOMATIC SHIPMENT PROGRAM", (because I wanted only to TRY the product, and IF I wanted more I would decide to re-order it, MYSELF). I DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN, NOR BUY ANY PRODUCT THAT REQUIRES ANY TYPE OF AUTOMATIC RE-ORDER. PERIOD.
THEN almost three months later, without my knowledge, OR my permission, a shipment of 3 BOTTLES arrived, and they tagged me for about $100 bucks on my credit card. This appears to be a serious Bait-And-Switch operation, because contrary to their online order form and info, I had chosen to take a lesser deal to avoid any type of automatic re-order or billing, YET, on my receipt, in tiny print at the bottom, was "if you do not wish to receive future shipments, you may opt out of the VIP program.." etc, which DID NOT APPLY TO ME BECAUSE MY ORDER WAS SPECIFICALLY NOT PART OF THAT DEAL.
HOWEVER, they enrolled me in it anyway, and stuck me with fraudulent charges, insisting that I signed up for it. APPARENTLY THIS COMPANY MAKES THEIR $$$ BY DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES.

Sadly, it seems they feel it is more profitable to be deceitful than to sell a good product. BEWARE: THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

To actually put that lame disclaimer on their page shows they have issues with deceptive marketing. Needless to say, I would send the bottles back and file a chargeback. Maybe buzz a complaint off to both your attorney general and the state they are located in. All this is assuming you did read the offer correctly and are confident you properly ordered without being committed to the auto ship plan.
BokiBean on 05/14/2009:
Sadly, anything you order from this company automatically enrolls you in their VIP program, whether you want to or not:

Included with your order is a free enrollment in to the VIP Rewards Program. As a member of the VIP Rewards Program, you get to enjoy the convenience of scheduled shipments with free S&H, along with automatic billing. Your first VIP Rewards Program shipment with free S&H will be billed and shipped approximately sixty days after your initial order date, and every ninety days thereafter. Each VIP Rewards Program shipment consists of a fresh three month supply, at the two month supply price ($99.99), along with free S&H.

The web site also states:

Membership in the VIP Rewards Program is free and is included with your initial order as explained in the terms and conditions that must be accepted during checkout of your initial order. You are not obligated to continue your VIP Rewards Program membership, and you may of course cancel at anytime, including right after your initial order is made.

Apparently, there is no way to order without accepting their terms and conditions.

Fraudulent Company Practices - BBB Rating of F
Posted by on
DENVER, COLORADO -- Without researching thoroughly I decided to order the Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitening System online. After entering my credit card information the website stated that the order did not go through due to their system and to try back later. I did a little more research and found that this company and product had a lot of complaints. I felt I was okay since the website stated the order did not process. Today I received the product. When looking for a phone number to call I found that they have no phone numbers either online or on their documentation. You cannot even email them! The Colorado BBB rates them an "F" since 2005! I have option but to pay for the return shipping and then my CC will challenge the charge once given the shipping information.

This company should be shut down!!! The one phone number I found 1-847-483-8774 is a looped recording that is defensive in tone. Obviously any legitimate company will have a phone number and/or email address. T

hese people are criminals and Colorado should be ashamed.

The Box Was Empty!!
Posted by on
GARDEN CITY, MICHIGAN -- I paid $58 bucks for The Celebrity Sexy Lip Plumper and got it and when I opened it up, the box was empty!! I was told that I would get a rebate but no papers came for that. I tried to call the number given online and keep getting "the lines are busy" I can't send it back because there is nothing but the box to send, but at least if I got the rebate, I would get my money back but I'm so mad that it was empty and no way to reach the Company. I can not afford to spend money on NOTHING. Why oh why did I want plumping lips....Does anyone know of anything that works to make your lips plump other than surgery??

I would not use this Company again and remember that you have to cancel your membership that they automatically put you in and charge your credit card otherwise they will charge your credit card $99.99 and send you another shipment. This is bad business.

I think lip plumpers make your lips look fake.
Anonymous on 04/17/2009:
At this point you should call your CC company and file a chargeback, or at least ask them if they recommend this since you have had no luck contacting the company. Also, let them know that no further charges are to be accepted from this company and make doubly sure you cancelled your membership. Good luck!

This is not directed to the OP but this fat lip craze has got to stop! I watched Australia (too long!!!) the other night and Nichole Kidman has had her lips done just like every silicone enhanced starlet in Hollywood.

What is with naturally beautiful women that they are so insecure that they absolutely ruin their looks in a quest to become even more more more..... Dyan Cannon used to be gorgeous and now she looks like Madame the Puppet. Its got to stop!

To the OP, I'm sure your lips are beautiful without anything other than liner and lipstick.
Anonymous on 04/17/2009:
A punch in the mouth does it for me. And I save $58.
Anonymous on 04/17/2009:
You get punched often rob? And Boki I agree that natural lips are beautiful. Just use a little lipstick and gloss and you got a great looking kisser
Anonymous on 04/17/2009:
I know of something Darby. You'll need to IM me though. :)
Anonymous on 04/17/2009:
Boki,"fat lip craze" gave me a laugh. Google "lips Deltalina" 500k hits on Youtube before the demo made it on a aircraft last week.
BokiBean on 04/17/2009:
This woman is gorgeous. If she had her lips done I can't tell it, thank god. She looks like she has a naturally large mouth (like Angelina Jolie). When the inside of the mouth rolls out and protrudes past the natural lips line..ew! A good plastic surgeon can fool me though. :)
Anonymous on 04/17/2009:
I agree with Boki. There was a very memorable scene at the start of 'First Wives Club' where Goldie Hawn was getting her lips injected. It was comedy then, it is reality now. I'm for all natural.
BokiBean on 04/17/2009:
I am just a great fan of lips, men's or women's, and they're so individualistic! To make them all look the same is just hard for me to comprehend. Natural is best, yes.
tander on 04/17/2009:
Why would anyone want fat lips?..LOL

Fraudulent Company
Posted by on
This company automatically signs you up for their VIP program when you buy their product, then charge your card 99.99 for monthly order without email warning or any notice at all. There is no number to contact them, the one given n the site is an answering machine which has a full mailbox. This company is a rip off. Thy have many complaints which is why the first thing that shows on their site deals with consumers disputing their company's charges.

I went to the site and do not agree the first thing you see is consumers *disputing* charges. Perhaps you should read it again.
wyndav on 03/03/2009:
Sorry, but you may have not read correctly. Below is a cut and paste of their webisite..

Should I file a credit card dispute with my bank to speed up the refund?

Please note that it is illegal to file a credit card dispute or chargeback on an order that you have placed, or on a reoccurring order that you have agreed to. In addition, once a transaction is disputed, the funds in question can be placed on hold by your card issuer for up to 6 months while the transaction is being investigated. If for any reason you do not wish to keep your VIP Rewards Program order, simply follow the above return instructions for a prompt refund. If a dispute is filed on a transaction, we will not be able to process a refund as we will request that the transaction go in to arbitration.
The above shows that they have had many incidents with people who, as I, received a 99.99 unauthorized charge to their credit card...
So, you are from that company amd ofcourse you have to defend their bad business.

zoranda1 on 04/04/2009:
the first redflag should be the website addy...""...the company's a fraud, the product doesn't work and they charge you a $100 fee after 60 days for being a "VIP"member...beware
hojo44 on 06/16/2009:
This company is a big scammer!! Product doesn't work and they automatically charge you $99.99 to belong to their VIP Club (what ever that is) ! BIG SCAM !!!!

I was taken in by this scam only to receive an empty tube of "whitener". Then I tried to cancel their VIP Rewards Program. No luck! I'm still trying. Beware!
