MESA, ARIZONA -- I've gone to the same Jack In The Box now for close to 20 yrs now. And I was given a fake $10 bill for change in there drive through. I didn't catch it at first. I went to another restaurant down the street for a separate order of food for my wife. And I used my change from Jack In The Box. Next thing I know the guy showed me it wasn't real. I rushed back to the Jack In The Box witch was just down the street and told the manager the situation. He did not care at all. He turned it all around and told me how does he know I'm not trying to pass off the money onto him. I told him to just look at his security tape and it would show the kid giving me the money but he just smiled and said he couldn't do anything for me.

So I went to the police department and reported him and gave all my receipts that support my story. Like the cop told me the kid in the drive through is probably swapping the $10 bills with the customers change and he would look into it. I'm still out my $10. And I will never go back there again.
Unacceptable Ad Campaign

I went into the Williams, AZ. Jack in the Box to eat lunch. A WHITE worker in the food preparation area rubbed his nose really hard with his fingers, then immediately continued preparing food, touching the meat with those same fingers. It was disgusting and I left. 15 Replies - Latest reply on 05/05/2009Add reply

FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE -- I had my first (and last) meal at Jack in the Box recently. Actually I didn't even eat the meal. I stopped for breakfast at the one in Cool Springs. Well, they stopped serving. I said I thought it was 24 hours. She (bored teenager) said it was only to 10. I pointed out it was not 10 and she said, "We're not serving breakfast."

I said, "Well.." and she got this exasperated look and started sighing and tapping her fingers and put down her head. I ordered a fish sandwich that took forever (the kids discussed their sex lives) then got possibly the foulest thing I ever put in my mouth. I mean it was rancid. I said I couldn't eat this and her friends giggled. She literally threw my money on the counter (including change), never apologized, never said "Come back" (as if I would). Do companies conduct even a minute of training?
Summary: Avoid this place like the plague
I heard that back in the day, Jack In The Box used to take simple tacos and put them in the deep frier. I was wondering if they still do that to this day just in case I want to visit one of the restaurants. 2 Replies - Latest reply on 07/05/2005Add reply

I ordered 2 Jumbo Jacks at the drive thru.
Before i could order my drink the lady yells out,
$2.16 drive around. when i get to the window she opens it, sticks out her hand, without saying a word. Takes my money, slams the window and goes for a while, comes back with my food, opens the window and looks at me like im an alien or something. She sticks the bag out the window without a word and slams it back.No thank you, no have a good day. I think if people don,t wanna serve customers, dont get in the customer service business.
