If it doesn't fit - tough luck
Posted by MadAlbanian on 03/22/2007
MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA -- I ordered a leather jacket from Jammin' Leather. The description said "may run small" so I ordered the next size up. When I got the jacket, it was two sizes too small. I asked that they refund my shipping or send me a prepaid label, but they said no. I guess Jammin' Leather's definition of "may run small" really means "runs really, really small, so you might want to order at least two sizes larger." Funny thing, though - they give the size reference charts and they are wrong because that's what I used to determine which size to order. What it amounts to is, they don't stand behind what they say on their website, so order with that in mind.

That's how they picked their company name - you have to be "Jammin'" your arms in the sleeves to get the jacket on.

Hugh, truly LOL! But I guess I'd be steamed, too, if I ordered something and it didn't fit after looking at the size charts. It's for reason such as this that I don't buy clothing online. I want to see it, feel it, and try it on before I buy.

MadAlbanian is right. Super small clothes. Most women's tops end up looking like a bikini in size. I was quite peeved too after receiving a gift from Jamin leather and being able to get a bigger size. In :) their defense Jamin leather gets most of their business from our two local Harley Davidson weeks, thats is the demographic they are selling for. During those weeks you will be hard pressed to find women who are even partially clothed.

Go to a store in person and try the clothes on. Works better.

I had the same problem. so I exchanged the LG jacket for a 2x and it too was way too small. I normally only wear a lg when a 2x didnt fit I was shocked. that was in july I have been fighting with them every since. I will never deal with them again.

I had the same experience, but with Sunglasses. I paid only $12 for them, but they charged me $7.90 shipping for a product that weighed a few ounces. I tried them on and they were huge...too wide and were not going to work with my helmet. I asked as well for a pre-paid shipping label and they refused. It would cost me $7. 50 to return them, totaling more than the cost of the sunglasses. Ilet them know I wouldn't be shopping there anymore. I have purchased 4 things previously from them that totaled over $300. You'd think they would cover return shipping. They may be "economical" but in this case, it means "cheap."

Do not order from this place. Trust me their whole shipping is a total scam. Read their BBB. Worst customer service. Free shipping if purchasing two items over $25 each, in stock only. Sent me the two qualifying items, missing two more. The Sales Slip said not sent. When called, one could be sent that day, the other another day, both were called back ordered and huge shipping charges were going to be changed per item. No concern when I explained the website NEVER indicated they were on back order. Also I was not happy with the junk I received. I was to pay shipping to send back the other items of junk and they would take their shipping charge for sending me the items in the first place from my reimbursement if I return anything. Read there shipping policy -its a huge lie and scam.
