WOOD DALE, ILLINOIS -- I, very stupidly, ordered another product from J.D. Marvel. After waiting for 6 months, they sent me the wrong product. I returned it and they still have not sent me my money back. Do not do business with this company. They cash the check as soon as they get it and we wait for months and months, if ever, to get our product. I made a promise not to throw good money after bad on phone calls, so I sent many, many e-mail. My persistense paid off and I received my refund check last week, I guess they finally earned enough interest on my money. Be assured that I have learned a lesson and will not order from a strange company again without doing research.

Check sent November 6 2003. Check cashed November 17 2003. They have no problem cashing checks quickly, but I have not received the items ordered. BUYERS BEWARE!! I did a search online to get their info, came up with pages and pages of complaints of the same nature. Website of course will let you order, but has ZERO contact info. MOBILE, ALABAMA -- After many long distance calls to Canada and much cursing and raising Hell, J.D. Marvel FINALLY sent my refund check. And it only took 7 months! My suggestion to anyone wanting their money back is to BADGER THEM constantly with nasty emails and phone calls. It worked for me! I also suggest that someone continue to find the authorities that can shut them down for good and send them to prison. They are obviously not afraid of conviction, so hitting them in the pocket book is the most likely way to shut them down. Good luck! look into their business practices. Also, their
phone number is not a free call! It cost me over
$10 to call some jerk who told me the call is free

SAN ANTONIO, NEW MEXICO -- J.D. Marvel cashed our check for $48.95 for an order on 11/6/2003. When order did not arrive we called and after 31 minutes on hold (long distance) we cancelled order and requested a refund within 7 days per FTC rules. As of 1/3/2004 we have heard nothing. WE have written letter and emails to the company, FTC and the Postal Inspector. So far no action on this refund.

This company has many complaints and should not receive any business from anyone. BE AWARE.
They take money sent in good faith ,but they do not send the product(s) ordered. They do not answer emails, or their telephone either. Biggest con going, just look at all the complaints piling up.
