I paid for a replacement speaker and installation on April 5, 2011 At Kile Dodge Jeep in Cleveland, Tn. After four months they can't even tell me when they will get the part.

I don't think it is the dealer's fault, I think it is Jeep's fault. I want my speaker!
I purchased my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee new in 2003. I am retired, and do very little driving. In June, 2011, at 38,000 miles, my transmission went out and it was necessary for me to completely replace it. The cost was $2,459.93. I feel this reflects a inferior product manufactured by DaimlerChrysler. A transmission should not go out after 38,000 miles. I have religiously maintained my vehicle at all times. I have bought my first and last Jeep - for sure.

I own a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I have taken it to the dealer many times. They can never fix the squeaky brake noise.

Now it is not accelarating after you stop at a red light. Overall the Jeep is not a well made SUV.
WA, WASHINGTON -- In 2006 I bought a brand new Jeep Compass. I drove it off the light, not knowing a light was a engine light problem, it took the dealership 7 months to figure out how to turn the engine light off. then approximately one year after I bought it the right ball joint went out. I took it back in and they fixed it. It was under warranty. Then 43000 miles later and 3 years later the left ball joint goes out, but it is no longer under warranty. Because it was unsafe and not under warranty, I took it to a frame and axle place by my house.

I then called Jeep corporate to ask if they would reimburse me and stand behind their product because a ball joint should not be going out in a pretty new vehicle. They refused to reimburse me.
Incident = I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler x that I purchased new, The drivers side seat has already been replaced and now needs it again and the passenger seat as well. The jeep was taken to the dealership in January and they ordered both seats,7 months later we are still waiting for the seat covers to come in. When I spoke to the claims representative on this he stated they should be in by August the 10th. I told him this was unacceptable and he said it was all he could do. I told him that they make Jeeps every day and that a seat cover should not be hard to get and that if this is how Jeep handles the warranty work then I will not buy another Jeep and I will probably trade it off for a new Chevy. I also told him I will take it to a car show or Jeep event and hang signs up telling them about Jeep and how their reps handle issues. He stated go ahead and do what you got to do.

I have a 2007 Grand Cherokee. The engine light came on. Took it to Jeep dealer and I was less than one month outside of regular warranty. Vehicle has less than 36000 miles. I was told that it would cost nearly 4000 dollars to tear apart engine to repair a swirl valve that had gone bad. The swirl valve has to do with emissions so the car does not pollute the air and complies with EPA. The emissions warranty is supposed to be good for 80000 miles or 8 years. Neither dealer or corporate office will honor the warranty as emissions.

Trying to say that it is the engine. I will now drive with billboards on my Jeep urging people not to purchase one.
Biggest mistake of my life. What a nightmare.
Do not buy this vehicle for towing behind your RV! I have towed a '97 wrangler and a '98 cherokee without problems. This compass will drain your battery in a short amount of time. 5 Replies - Latest reply on 04/07/2010Add reply
I went to Honda to get a key make, cost $50. Next I go on the same day to Jeep to get a key make, cost $53 for Key and another $60 to have the key programmed. So the end result a single key for Jeep is $110 how can the be right in any market. 7 Replies - Latest reply on 06/13/2009Add reply
I had an wonderful experience at the Jeep dealership in Rochester. Months after my purchase the dealership offered great service for every little detail I asked for. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to buy. Add reply
