AVON, MASSACHUSETTS -- I will never EVER buy anything from Jordan's again. I bought this leather couch for my living room about 3 years ago, a room that we use about 4 times a year if that. Well... My son just started using the couch often to read and now the leather is peeling all over the place. The couch it's still very comfortable and that's why I bought it, but it does look terrible. Don't get fooled by Jordan's good looks couches or anything else. FAKE, TERRIBLE store. Don't buy there!! Save your money and buy at Walmart because when it's break you just can buy a new one.

READING, MASSACHUSETTS -- A number of years ago we purchased a very high end leather couch. We purchase leather for allergy reasons which is the same reason we ordered the cushions to be non down. Although the couch still looks beautiful we recently discovered that the supposedly non down "standard" option of cushions? Of course the woman who sold it to us no longer works there. I believe she had no idea that the "Standard" option contained down as she would have told us since she said not to order down if you have allergies. Now Jordan's wants to charge me hundreds to get a new pillow case thingy. Outrageous!

4000 Leather Set and Recliner Now Has Spots on It

NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- Purchased a 4K leather set in 2013. Bought the maintenance 5-year plan. I specifically asked my sales person if it would fade much... she said, "No, it was high grade would not fade!" My recliner started showing little black dots and fading. Other 2 pieces have just as much activity as the chair and no fading or spots. Service said not covered & the problem is it must have been from a cow that had "spots" and when they stained over the stain with wear now shows the spots!

Well I didn't purchase a chair to have spots from a cow. That was the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard. Idiots!! If I wasn't in the process of moving I would do a 93 A and demand a full refund. They are giving me 400 towards credit in the store. I paid 978 for the recliner. They no longer make that brand so unable to replace. From now on I think I will buy my furniture at Big Lots. When it gets worn will buy a new set. :) Will never buy another set from Jordan's.

Never Again, They Lie, Lie, Lie!!!

NATICK, MA, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- Bought a mattress and box spring, failed within a few years. They come out and take photos, the guy admits he's new to the job and doesn't know much when we ask him questions. They call back and say the mattress is fine but the box springs are defective. He tries telling me the mattress will repair itself once the box springs are replaced. I disagree because the mattress is bad and very uncomfortable.

He then says I have to pay to get the box springs delivered. But they sold me as they stated "defective box springs". The guy was a cocky comedian and make me feel like I had no say or choice. Piss poor customer service. I leave a negative review on Facebook, they delete it. What's the point of a one-sided review.

Receiving manager using the n word

TAUNTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- Scott Ambroult the receiving department manager used the "N" word while talking to an employee. The COO Peter Bolton and Human resource manager Maureen Murphy did an investigation and determined that it was not a derogatory word. Scott Ambroult is still the receiving department manager. One of the receiving department team leads Kyle Hinchliff stated that Jordans needs to get rid of old receiving department management and bring in new. For a company that has a zero tolerance policy against such things it appears management is above the rules. Scott Ambroult should not have a job. Please call Jordans furniture to voice your concerns. 508-828-4000

Bad Quality Products

NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS -- I will never ever shop at Jordan's again. I recently bought my Sealy mattress and box spring. The mattress ended up being too hard. After only one week, my back was in pain and told them I wanted to re-select. They charged me $160 to re-select. After only 1 month I have noticed that my bed is making squeaking noises (like an old bed). We inspected the box spring and we noticed that it's not a Sealy one. It's not even a real box spring. It's a piece of crap made of plywood and cardboard. I paid $170 for that. They sold me a Jordan's box spring instead of a Sealy one. That's very dishonest I think.

I am contacting them right now to get a refund and get a real shock absorber box spring. Please, stay away from Jordan's. There are many small family owned businesses everywhere. Get a real mattress and a real good box spring like a Gold Bond (two sided), made in Connecticut. Also if you don't want to feel hot at night or smell toxic fumes, stay away from memory foam. I learned it the hard way. I hope this helps you take a better decision.

Customer Service Sucks
By -

READING, MASSACHUSETTS -- My wife and I ordered a glider (lj1l72001) from Jordan's Furniture on October 13, 2008 for our nursery. We looked at a ton of these chairs and when we found the one we liked at Jordan'€™s we were excited. We picked it up on November 22, 2008. We put it in our nursery and didn't spend much time in it until we brought our baby home from the hospital on December 16, 2008.

After spending some time in the chair we could tell there was something wrong with it. It was not nearly as comfortable as the chair we decided to buy on your showroom floor. We ordered the feather pillows and discovered the pillows on our chair to be very stiff. Also when you sit in the chair and lift your feet off the ground you fall forward right out of the chair. Not only does this make the chair uncomfortable but unsafe.

I called customer service in hopes of having the chair replaced or fixed. We had to wait 3 weeks for a technician to come to our house. The tech was very nice and mentioned that this had been a problem with these chairs. He installed a couple of wedges and said he would look into the pillow stiffness problem. We were under the impression the pillows were feather not a foam cushion with feathers around it. Disappointed is an understatement. The wedges that were installed did not fix the problem. If you lift your feet you still fall out of the chair.

We then contacted customer service with our issues and got nowhere. ** was not only uninterested in our problems and unhelpful he was rude, unprofessional, yelled at me and ended our call when his shift was coming to an end. We talked to three more managers who were more professional than ** yet unhelpful. One manager told us to wrap the cushions with a towel and walk on them. Apparently she thought it would help "€œbreak it in€." Yeah I have a newborn and all that extra time to walk on cushions of a $931 chair. I was hoping she was joking. She was not.

Since our chair was a "special order" if we returned the chair we would lose 30% of the $931.35 we paid for this chair. I said I would accept a 100% refund towards a store credit to buy another chair. I thought this would be a fair compromise for both parties. We pick out another piece of furniture at your store and are happy. To no avail. I was told that the chair was not defective. I offered to bring the chair to the store to prove the chair was defective and was told that was not an option. Talking to your customer service supervisors has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience I have ever had with customer service, ever.

My wife and I finally after hours talking to your managers settled on returning the chair and receiving all but 10% back. We felt our energy was better spent enjoying our time with our newborn than fighting with your managers who couldn't care less about our issues and the defective product we purchased. My question is: if you buy a piece of furniture that is defective should the customer lose out? Or should the furniture company (Jordan'€™s) stand by the product they sell.

How can Jordan'€™s sell this product to their customers and not back it up. This product is defective and I am out not only the five weeks we waited to pick it up then three weeks for a technician to come to our house and another week battling with customer service. Now we are settling for a loss of $90 out of our pockets to return this product.
You should be ashamed of yourselves. I will never return to your store and I will be sure to share my experience with everyone I can.

READING,MASS. -- Were lied to. Called 3 weeks after sleeping on it, they told me it takes 4 months to get use to. Called again, told 90 days were up, can't return it. Called again, they were rude, no help. I will never purchase again from them. I will tell everyone how dishonest they are. The poor quality of the mattresses are just the tip of their dishonesty.

Worst Credit Card Ever.

NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- Dysfunctional and disorganized website for credit payment. Usurous fees. False information on minimums due. $48 per month turns into $124 without explanation. Website tricks one into believing a minimum payment has been made, only to add more fees the following month. Trained liars work for company, don't even bother calling. $75 fee for being one day late for $48 regular payment, $75 listed as minimum due on payment page, when one needs to add the $48 to the $75. Absolute deception. Avoid this scam.

Leather Couch Sucks

WARWICK, RHODE ISLAND -- We are so disappointed with the quality of the premium leather couch we purchased. After just one year, it look terribly worn, spotted, and faded, even though we were assured it was top quality because of its price. We also purchased the protection plan, and it has provided nothing but headaches! I will be recommending to everyone we know to avoid Jordan's for sub-par quality, and to especially not waste money on a useless protection plan!!!
