Auction Items From Jewelry Television
Posted by on
TENNESSEE -- I purchased several auction pieces and when they arrived today I was very disappointed in the quality. None of the pieces looked like the product review on the auction page. Of course, I cannot return these because the policy is no return for any auction pieces.

I will never go into their auction category again. I have a very sour taste in my mouth right now.

I have always been very pleased with all the items I have purchased.

please do not let this one time put a bad taste in your mouth about jtv. try some of their regular items on sale, and get the 30 days to return. a savy shopper can find huge bargins on jtv!

I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH JEWELRY ON JTV. I WAS TALKING ABOUT THEIR AUCTION ITEMS. I HAVE PURCHASED MANY THINGS OVER THE YEARS AND THIS WAS THE FIRST EXPERIENCE IN THE AUCTION CATEGORY. I DO NOT FEEL THEIR AUCTION ITEMS HAVE THE SAME QUALITY CONTROL.

THERE ARE OTHER COMMENTS ABOUT THEIR AUCTION ITEMS IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN READING THEM.

The same thing has happened to me. I filed a complaint with the BBB of th e Southland. I returned the item with a return receipt so I would know if they received it. I am claiming that the product was defective and misrepresented to the point of being deceptive. I included a letter with my return asking for a refund because I am not happy and they have always said they will stand behind their quality, not to mention that have have spent a lot of money and am a good customer. They did not respond to me, so that is when I filed a complaint with the BBB. Also, save all your documentation and then contact your credit card company. Mine is BofA and since sent all the documentation to them to review, they most likely will get a credit to my account in 30 days.

Good Luck, I will post what happens next

I was not aware that you could not return auction items. Is that a new policy? I m certain I have returned a few in the past years.
DebtorBasher on 06/22/2011:
Louise, I don't know of any Auctions that took returns. They have always been 'All sales are final'.
DebtorBasher on 06/22/2011:
But then again, there was an auction we were at and my Mother MADE them take back an auction sale she won...LOL. It was a first.

Yes, this is reminiscent of the Seinfeld, where George is enthusiastically recalling Bozo the Clown.
